PlaySmart Learning Center

My son is 4 and just started VPK at Play Smart Learning Center. The center is clean, organized, safe and kid friendly! Their curriculum is the best by far in the area (I toured 4 schools before enrolling my son.) The staff is amazing, kind and welcoming especially Jessica the owner and director of Play Smart, she has such a loving heart for children and you can tell by how she runs her business she puts her heart and soul into her learning center and it shows. She has made my son, fiancé and myself feel so comfortable after just moving to the area about 1 month ago. It’s so hard to trust staff and a daycare facility to take care of your child while you work, this center isn’t just about “babysitting” they actually teach your children values. When I walked in for a tour it was a warm and welcoming feeling which puts your mind at ease. Mrs. Jessica knows each and every child by their name which is meaningful to parents. I couldn’t be more grateful for her she is A blessing in the children’s lives!
I would recommend this daycare facility to all of my friends and family. I am so excited to see what my son will learn this year. I worked in daycare prior and I am very picky on where my son attends and I feel extremely comfortable each and every day when I drop him off and pick him up. Ms. Mallory is the VPK teacher and she amazing with children we love her already❤

Absolutely love PlaySmart learning center! My daughter is enrolled in the VPK program & I was so nervous about her starting school for the first time but the staff here has made everything such a breeze! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. My daughter comes home from school already excited for the next day. She always tells me she loves her teaches and her friends and how much she loves school. If you’re looking for a place for your kids where they will be safe, happy, comfortable, & able to learn through play in the best ways, definitely look into PlaySmart Learning Center! ❤

The best daycare hands down. Mrs. Jessica is amazing & all teachers and staff are very welcoming & loving. My highly active , and functioning daughter loves going and learning hands on. The food is GREAT to, even with the most picky eater I have!
My daughter went as an infant before Covid, and now returned. My oldest also went to the after school program in the past and loved going. Its such a big relief to find such an amazing child care center who you can trust. Now that we’re off the waiting list 😝😉 I’ll brag

I have so much to say about Playsmart, I have a two-year-old and I have a one-year-old who has been with playsmart since they were baby-babies. My oldest daughter has autism and it was very difficult for me to put her in any daycare as she wouldn’t adjust. I was very nervous about how it was going to go, however the Director Jessica and Assistant Director Dolly have done and amazing job with my girls. Through their sense of patience, gentle and consistent learning structures, not only did my Sophie adjust but she absolutely loves going every morning. They have the most amazing teachers who genuinely care about them. I had to pull them from daycare due to personal reasons for a couple of weeks, me and my girls teachers shed a few tears due to the girls having to leave for a while. It’s much more than a daycare for my two babies, I plan on keeping them here for as long as I possibly can as I don’t want to break their bond with my daughters. I trust this daycare with everything in me and I feel like I owe PlaySmart a lot more than they realize, for all they have done for them. I cannot wait to walk through those doors again with my girls.

My son was a Playsmart student from the time he was 1 until entering kindergarten. The owner Jessica is 100% the most professional, personable, and caring person possible to be running a facility with so many diverse children. All of my son’s years with his various teachers were positive and enriching. He was ready for kindergarten both academically and emotionally, and I credit Playsmart for this. We no longer require services for childcare but my son asks almost daily when he can go back. I have to also commend them for their measures towards COVID safety. I always felt safe knowing that Jessica had implemented above and beyond procedures to be as mindful as possible in the middle of the pandemic. Playsmart will always be a special place for our family.

Playsmart Learning Center is truly a gem. Our son first started going here in July 2020 when he was about 4 months old. It was tough when he first started in the midst of the pandemic. We couldn't go inside for a while of course, but we always got daily updates and pictures/videos of him while he was there. There was some staff turnover when Covid was at it's peak which was tough (I don't fault Playsmart for this, it is to be expected during such a different and challenging time) but we stuck in there and I'm so glad we did. Ms. Jessica, the director, is wonderful. She puts her all into her work, and she genuinely loves working with the kids and it shows. Everyone that meets our son always comments on his communication/verbal skills and I give all the credit to Playsmart. The teachers all work really well with the kids and create a fun environment for them to learn and grow. So fun in fact that most days our son doesn't want to leave! :) We are so grateful to have found Playsmart.

My 7 year old started in the infant room all the way to VPK. He is now in 2nd grade, above grade level in reading and in math and is also in the gifted program. Playsmart had a huge roll in his development. It all starts at home, establishing a healthy, loving foundation. We choose a daycare that meet our needs and we felt at peace when we dropped off our baby. Playsmart provided a fun, safe place for my child. The teachers he had were great. If I ever had a concern, Jessica would address it right away. They had healthy meals, fun learning activities, and gave my child self confidence. I also had two older kids that attended their after school program for a few years, until to aged out. I felt like Jessica always made my children’s needs/ growth a priority so my husband and I could be at peace while we were at work..... and to me that is priceless.

My two year old daughter absolutely LOVES this daycare, she’s going into her second month and she has adapted absolutely wonderfully. She wakes up excited every single day to go to school and specially to see Ms. Belkis. Everyone that works there is so nurturing, loving and really take care of every single child like they were theirs. If i could give them 10 stars I would. I highly recommend them!

This daycare is amazing, my 2 year old has been going here, since he has been old enough too. They are great with the kids and my son loves it, his vocabulary has increased so much and they genuinely care for your children, I would recommend this daycare to anyone and have numerous times!!!!! The director and teachers are truly amazing and deserve to be recognized for that. It is so hard trying to find a trustworthy daycare and this one is by far one of the best!

Absolutely the best daycare ever. I feel confident everytime I drop my son off, that he will be well cared for in an appropriate manner. He has been going here for over a year! The program director is the absolute best and so involved with all the children.

Absolutely love playsmart. Would rate it 100 if possible. Very caring staff and owner that value children, their health, education and well being. Would trust my newborn with every one of the staff members if I had one. My daughter started there at age 1, and we still consider playsmart as family.

My kids used to go to this daycare! Everyone there is so wonderful. We still stop in to see them.

We love playsmart the staff is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly we wouldn't go anywhere else.

The biggest complaint I have is the number of human bites our child has received in a matter of a few months-(approx 5-6 bites). This just isnt acceptable! Once, ok..twice, hmmm..3x , grrr..FIVE-SIX times...NO! Teachers, wht is going on? Phone distractions? I think its time for the state to investigate to see how this can be handled better. Writing up a report to the parent is not enough. PREVENTION is whats needed.

My daughter went through 4 or 5 teachers in just a few months and was mostly terrified of going to school. There were toooo many times I'd pick her up and her pamper was sooo mushy and wet it soaked her pants as well. The teachers were rude and spiteful one actually locked me in the playground and then didn't answer her door to let me or another teacher back in. They claim to teach ur kid all this stuff but I NEVERR witnessed this spanish/sign language taught EVERR. I asked for daily reports since no teacher used the app which was made for older kids not toddlers. After asking for daily reports I got 3 or 4 in the MONTHS my daughter attended. It got to the point that I didn't trust my daughter there and even a teacher IN THIS DAY CARE WARNED ME to take her out because she witnessed my daughter mistreated.

The only way you will be ok with this place is if you take their word above ur childs word or behavior and that wouldn't be smart.
