Taqueria Guadalajara

First timer for lunch. The place was packed. Service was a little slow due to that. Food was EXCELLENT. Freshly made salsa was very good. Ice cold Coke in a bottle. The steak taco was terrific and the pork taco was AMAZING. Highly recommend this place.

This was my first time here, and it is now one of my favorite places for Mexican food in the area.

A friend and I met for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was continually busy but not packed. Our waitress was friendly, polite, and helpful with assisting us with what to order.

Chips and salsa (free) came out quickly, followed by our drinks. She ordered a steak torta, which she reported as "delicious." I chose a steak chimichanga with peppers and onions. Very different from any chimichanga I have had, but excellent. The steak was in bite-sized pieces, so it was very easy to eat. Definitely a fajita-type filling. Refried beans and rice were not an afterthought, as they can be in some places. The beans were creamy and flavorful, and the rice was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Finally, tres leches cake for dessert. I love this item, but can hardly ever find it. We each were served a good-sized piece of cake and it was absolutely delicious!

Overall, a great find. Terrific service, excellent food, and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. There is also a small grocery section with imported Mexican food and a small pastry case as well.
This is a must-try place if you are in the Saratoga area (about 10 minutes from downtown).

I had an incredible dining experience at Taqueria Guadalajara last night! The service was terrific from start to finish. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was authentically Mexican, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. Our kids especially loved the chips, which were brought out shortly after we placed our orders. It was a wonderful touch that kept them happy and entertained. We will definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend!

This place is exactly what you want. Started off with the free chips and salsa and WOW the chips were hot and fresh. Salsa was very good as well and tasted like a garden (in the best way). I ordered the tacos and got two Al pastor and two steak. The steak were good, but the Al pastor BLEW. ME. AWAY. I don't usually tout that I'm from Texas, but suffice to say I've had many Al pastor tacos in my time and this was up there with the best, if not THE best. My boyfriend got the Al pastor enchiladas and they were hands down the best enchiladas we've ever had. The rice and beans were as good as it gets, as well. We topped it off by trying the churro and the tres leches cake. Let me just say, the churro was so delicious it'd be worth going just for that alone. It was hot and crispy with some creamy filling, very very good. The tres leches was good and worth trying, but not the star of the show. All in all, absolutely worth going. Two beers, two entrees, two desserts and it was under $70. I will be a regular.

About time Ballston Spa gets a great Mexican restaurant! Staff is great, atmosphere is fun and light. Can’t drink because I’m preggo but their cocktails look amazing. Authentic food(I think) even if not it’s the best in the area for sure! Prices are unbeatable…taco Tuesday 5 tacos for $10. And helpings are not skimpy like most places around town.
I got the shrimp tacos, marinated beef tacos, Al Pastor Taco and rice & beans!
No complaints here. The lovely ladies serving are so sweet and pleasant, which is always a plus when going out to eat. Can’t wait to come back with the family. 👍🏻😀

Used my intuition as usual to find this place. The tacos are legit! The chicken enchiladas also super delicious! A true gem! Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Not sure what the few bad reviews are about. This is the best Mexican food I've had since I left California. The salsa had some spice to it. The Tacos were great. Rice and beans were delicious. Food was very close to authentic. The little market attached made me feel very nostalgic. Thanks for the fantastic experience 🥰

Fantastic! Authentic, Fresh, Delicious, enthusiastically made with love, and fair prices, easy on the wallet! Skip ALL the other spots in saratoga county and beyond and immediately head to Taqueria Guadalajara. You won’t be disappointed, other than not being able to eat every menu item at once. Good thing for take home containers.

Absolutely best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been. We go here at least 2 times a year when visiting our daughter half way from her home and our home. Food is freshly made and delicious.

This place is amazing. I grew up in Arizona and have tried to find good Mexican food on the East Coast for the past several years. I finally found something that actually real, Taqueria Guadalajara! I will definitely be back. Also, the service was great, the chips were hot when they came out, everything is reasonably priced, and it was out quickly. Again, I will definitely be back. Maybe tomorrow... for Taco Tuesday: 5 tacos for $10.

Absolutely love this place so much! The staff are very friendly and attentive! The food is SO DELICIOUS and most definitely the best authentic Mexican in the Ballston Spa/Saratoga Area. My go to is definitely the Birria Quesadilla but everything on their menu is absolutely to die for! And they even have amazing beverages and a vast selection of them too which is great! Always gives you the opportunity to try something new and different!

Amazing taste and super fast service. We ordered tacos and quesedillas with steak and cheese. Definitely recommended!

Best little taco spot around. In a world where no one's offering deals and portions are getting smaller, Taqueria Guadalajara does not disappoint. Someone recommended this place to me and told me that I should get the chicken burrito. He said the burrito was wrapped so tight that not even a grain of rice would fall out if I was eating it in the car lol. He wasn't lying. Taco Tuesdays is a must. Crazy sales and deals and delicious food. Check it out!

I came here on a quick whim for lunch and had an insanely good pork burrito to go. Definitely will be my go to when I’m in the area!

Loved this place. Small and quaint. Has a great authentic feel to the place. Great customer service. Will be back to try other dishes. But if I was to give completely honest feedback, I felt portions could have been a little bit bigger, and the horchata was a bit watered down. Chips and salsa were good!

This is what Saratoga needed. The most authentic by far. Amazing food. Amazing staff. The flan was fantastic. The tacos al pastor were by far my favorite. Loved the music they were plying. The home made salsa was delicious and of course I had the try the agua de horchata that was fabulous. Dont think about it. I have told all my friends!! 5 STARS.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing food every time i go. Very friendly service but sometimes goofs up orders at the table 🤷🏽‍♀ not a big deal. And the prices and portions are reasonable. I love the tostada, sopes, tacos and burritos. I hope they never leave.

OMG I freaking love TG! I live an hour away but always manage to find an excuse to head down and go. The Mexican soup is delicious and even though it's not "tortilla soup" I still toss chips and cheese into it. Pretty much everything else I've tried there has been great!
