Jones County Freedom Rock

This is the best freedom rock I’ve seen yet. Very honored and proud of our American veterans, history and heritage. Good job Jones County!

I work for Rogers Concrete Construction, and was picked to do the sidewalk for the Freedom Rock. I am a United States Marine Corps veteran. It was an honor and a privilege to be able to contribute my services of pouring sidewalk around and up to the rock. It truly is a remarkable and honorable tribute to our Armed Forces and Veterans who came before us. If you get a chance, do visit this attraction. And walk on the sidewalk i poured for you!

Another great Freedom Rock Set in an awesome town. I really like the side of the rock with the farming scene. Check out the town after you visit the rock.

Beautiful tribute to vets, and the farmers who plowed the Dillon's Furrow, allowing soldiers to find their way south to fight in the war. Amazing story! Not to mention it's set at absolutely gorgeous and historic Stone City. Come enjoy the beauty and history. Walk in the footsteps of artist Grant Wood. 🇺🇲

This Freedom Rock is actually in Stone City, a few miles from Anamosa, but well worth the drive. While in town check out the huge prison.

This was the 5th Freedom Rock I visited in a week. They are building a gazebo over it. Can't wait to see the finished area.
