Great food. Even when they are busy, the service keeps up. Queso is very good.

Very clean, staff was tremendous, the Food was delicious, we were greeted immediately and served Chips and salsa, the chips were fresh and crispy. We had the Smothered Flautas, Steak Burrito Grande, Azada Fries, and 2 strawberry Margaritas. The smothered Flautas chicken has so much flavor, the steak was good and hot but did taste reheated. Azada Fries are definitely a must get! Angeles (Angie) was fantastic and so kind even when my son was acting a little silly. Definitely will come back and recommend.
Side note: I have a shellfish allergy I made them aware of and they understood what it was needed to prevent cross contamination. 🙂

This resturant is new. Was expecting typical Mexican food BUT was very surprised.... first the service is exceptional probably 1 of the best waiters we have had. Second the Margaritas are house made and taste fresh and perfect, 2 for 1 happy hour... third the guacamole is house made fresh and is out of this world flavors. The food very very fresh ingredients, flavors are very deep and interesting, not your typical fajitas,,,better!! Lots of seafood options for tacos ... the street tacos will make me return alot.. probably the best Mexican food we have had in our many visits to Mexican restaurants... do yourself a favor and try this place!!

Definitely a solid Tex-Mex option in the area. Right off 151, it’s in a convenient location if you live in Anamosa or commuting elsewhere.

No complaints about the food and drinks. Portions were large and the ingredients, especially were fresh. One of the favorites in our table was the pollo Guadalajara, which was served on a hot skillet with mushrooms and onions.

The service was great as well. It was cinco de mayo and you could tell the staff was stretched pretty thin. However, no one lost their cool and we felt taken care of throughout the evening. Great dining option if you live in anamosa or in the area!

Was visiting from out of town and decided to try this place. Great margarita, very friendly girls that work there(made me feel right at home), and the taco trio that was recommended to me was yummy. I'll definitely go back when I'm in town again!

Oh! And don't forget to ask about their desserts! So good

Absolutely amazing!!! I am in Heaven when I come here. The Porfirios Tacos are the most amazing thing I’ve ever had when it comes to tacos! The verde I want to buy by the gallon and eat it on everything at home! Margs are amazing and atmosphere is definitely a level up for the area! Such a nice place to come hangout with family and friends for a yummy dinner and drinks!

It will be hard to resist the urge to eat here more than 1x a week. Just saying 😉

The staff are very nice and offered water on a hot day. Food comes quick and they let you know if you're gonna have to wait. Overall very great restaurant

Came in for dinner after a long drive. Originally coming from Arizona, I was very impressed and enjoyed my meal.

Stopped by on a visit to Eastern Iowa with family. No waiting, seated immediately. Great waitress. Explained Happy Hour specials. Food was excellent. Good selection of drinks. Excellent guacamole and salsa. They had a nice patio with umbrellas on many of the tables. It was warm, so we stayed inside. Will visit them again when in the Anamosa area!

Excellent food! In fact, some of the best we have had in a while. Portions are huge so prepare to share or take home. Excellent staff and service. Hidden gem just minutes from Cedar Rapids.

Food always comes out perfect, lots of options to choose from and lots of different drinks. Staff are very kind and friendly. Definitely recommend coming with your family because they have a dedicated spot for big party’s coming! Birthday party’s are great, they come out with a sparkler and put a sombrero on your head! 10/10 restaurant

First time eating at this establishment, and I was blown away. I almost got full on the chips and salsa because they're incredibly delicious. I ordered a burrito, I can't remember the exact name, but it was HUGE! It was topped with all sorts of cheese, greens, and guacamole, and the flavor was incredible. Showed up at happy hour where it's BOGO beer and margaritas. My family and I were extremely happy with the food and service. My only regret is that we didn't come here sooner. We will definitely be back!! Right off the highway in Anamosa, you can't miss it!

We stopped in for our first time at 5 pm. The waiter met us right away. We picked our table he was quick, courteous, and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were amazing and reasonably priced.

Isaac and Ava are delightful managers and very customer oriented. We liked the chimichanga with GRILLED chicken option, versus the shredded chicken offered by most restaurants. It is a very clean place with quick service!

They did a nice job remodeling the inside of this place.The staff was friendly. Service was a bit slow but there also new and were busy. We had high hopes for the food but were a bit disappointed. The chips and salsa were probably the best part of our meal. Rice came out hard and cold, hard shell tacos came out soggy, meat didn't have much flavor to it, The softshell taco was chewy like rubber. I really hope this place watches there reviews takes some constructive criticism and changes things up a bit. Being in anamosa where there's few dine in restaurants they could sink or swim. I hope they excel! It made me sad when hacienda closed.

It's now August 2023 and we've given this place two more visits. Needless to say they have things under much better control it seems they had some opening jitters they needed to work through. The food is excellent and the service is much better. I'd argue to say this place is better then Villas patio in Marion. Happy to have a nice sit down restaurant in a town that doesn't have my options! Thanks guys.
