Edit: Update! The new system is in, weeks earlier than anticipated! Eli led the install and the team, Alfredo and Jim, assisted to finish up before the hot holiday weekend. We cannot say enough about the competence, professionalism, and kindness of the entire team. We appreciate the time taken to explain everything and ensure we were happy with the product and service. Absolutely recommend!

We retained Jacobs to recommend a heating and air system for a small, 1980’s residential add-on to our pole barn. They assessed both the unit and the barn, identified the energy waste challenges and suggested several options that would meet our need of replacing baseboard heat and window unit AC. They were professional, friendly, punctual and thorough in all phases of the engagement, including install. We are thrilled with the service and our new systems, and looking forward to staying cool this summer with a reduced utility bill. Alfredo Vicente from Jacobs Air Conditioning and Heating (JACH) visited our church (Church of the Good Shepherd UCC [COGS]) on Thursday, 26 September 2024 to do the fall service on the two air source heat pumps which JACH installed in January - February 2024. Alfredo kept me informed on what tests and work that he was doing. I like the detailed work that Alfredo did on the two heat pumps.

We didn't know it at the time, but we had a surprise mouse visit our outdoor heating/cooling unit and chewed through some of the electrical wiring. The temperature dropped considerably that night both outdoors and in our home. We called Jacobs Air Conditioning & Heating the next morning and Jim Jacobs (the owner) showed up quickly, ran a battery of tests, and discovered the evidence and problem was a hungry critter who had eaten through several important wires in the outdoor unit. Jim had everything he needed in his truck to rewire the severed connections, and we could feel heat returning throughout the house. Impressive first-rate service. Definitely merits 5 stars.

Alfredo was our tech today. He did spring service for us and did an excellent job!!! I would recommend this company to everyone!!!

We were very happy with our service from Alfredo this morning. After quickly diagnosing a surprise leak, he was able to fix the problem and helped us set up a regular maintenance schedule going forward. Throughout the visit he was generous in updating us with totals before proceeding with any work, which we really appreciated. Alfredo was also super friendly and took the time to explain everything patiently and thoroughly. Thanks Jacobs, we’re looking forward to working with you again down the road!

My ac went out during the heat wave and I woke up sweating. I called 3 local businesses and Jacobs was the lower price and said they would be quickest to get to my house. I’ve never had an issue with my unit so this was my first time having it serviced, and I’m so glad my friend recommended I call Jacobs. Alfredo arrived less than 3 hours after I called and was earlier than estimated by the office. He was courteous, engaging and very helpful. He was honest about what services my ac needed, but not pushy on selling it. My ac was fixed in about an hour with a cleaning. Hopefully it stays working for awhile longer, but if anything else happens I’m calling Jacobs

When our A/C went out, I called just after they had closed Friday afternoon, unfortunately. They called back as soon as they got my message Monday morning, and were very friendly and eager to help. Eli came out earlier than predicted and examined everything. He cleaned out the system and got it working again. It turns out he was the person who installed the whole system over 10 years ago under a different homeowner. He really knew his stuff. He explained it to us so we understood what was happening. When he figured out the charge, he saw that we would get more for out money if we signed up for the maintenance plan, which the previous owners had done, and we agreed. Great service!
The only negative feedback at all is that I would like to have an after hours emergency number to call since it was the hottest week in the year so far, but it cooled down over the weekend so we didn't end up missing the A/C that desperately.

I have known Jim Jacobs and his sons for many years so when I decided to replace my home HVAC IN 2006, I had JacobsAir Conditioning & Heating recommend and provide the system and do the work. I have been happy with the new system and Jacobs has always been quick to respond whenever I have had a problem or a heating or cooling emergency, which hasn’t been often. Jim, his sons and other employees are always prompt, courteous and professional. Today Alfredo did our winter HVAC tuneup in his usual quiet and professional manner, making everything was operating properly before he departed. I highly recommend Jacobs Air Conditioning & Heating!

Our AC stopped working and I reached out to Jacobs because they did a great job fixing our system in our old house 5 years ago. They were able to come out just hours after I called. I watched Jim work on the outside unit and I almost cannot believe how quickly he was able to pinpoint the issue and then fix it. Truly amazing work from someone who has mastered their craft. I cannot recommend them enough!

Jim and Eli are two of the kindest and hardest-working professionals I've ever met. They explained everything to us during each step of the process so we knew what was happening and could make informed decisions. They also gave us a few different repair and replacement options and left the ball in our court to make the choice that was best for our home and family. Their office was always helpful and responsive if we had any questions and made the financing application process seamless. We were dreading what we knew would be a huge undertaking and headache, but the team at Jacobs made the experience the exact opposite. We relied on Google reviews when looking for experts to trust, and I can't recommend them highly enough to others in the same situation. Everything was great, they showed up VERY quickly, gave us a fair estimate of time and cost of repair, showed us the issue, and performed the repair better than expected as the damage was a little more than we saw on the surface. Eli was amazing and knowledgable, would recommend, A+ service.
