Jersey Shore Hospital: Emergency Room

tried calling ahead to see if i should visit this ER or the UPMC in LH, since i went to UPMC previously and they couldn't figure out the first time what was wrong with me. and the woman on the phone kept asking if i had surgery or if i was pregnant? kept cutting me off every time i spoke and lacked basic communication skills. i know now to never even bother going here. super frustrating.

I called the ER to get advice about my granddaughter, if I needed to bring her in and I can't even get anybody to answer the phone. This is very frustrating because I will not take her to Lock Haven where I live, and Jersey Shore is the next nearest hospital. I don't want to have to drive all the way to Williamsport. Sorry excuse for a hospital that can't even answer a phone call for a sick child

My sons expierence was beyond terrible! Went in with covid symtoms and was sent home before their "rapid results". Was told before we left, we would know the answer within a few hours because they dont send covid tests out, they study them at Jersey Shore Hospital. Went home, never heard anything and now my son has a fever and we will be going back and not leaving until we get some answers!! Momma is mad!
