Illinois State Fair Grandstand

Saw Miranda Lambert and the seats were excellent. The venue's sound was great. Loved her music, her performance, and the exciting vibe throughout the entire concert. The tickets were so affordable. Can't wait to see another artist at The Grandstand.

Clean and comfortable. Grandstand seats are not just bleachers but bench with backrest and armrests.
Concessions are indoors behind seats. Ladies room was remarkably clean considering the crowd. There were 2 attendants who kept crowd moving thru.

Great assortment of food, and somewhat reasonably priced. Good free entertainment spread out around the grounds. Good bargin to park on the grounds for only $5.00 that gives you in/out privilege. Bring a cooler and save on drinks. Great time will be back.

So much to do and great concerts

Everyone is very friendly the games are very fun! The food is delicious, there is live music, and you're allowed to pet the animals!

Illinois State fair was awesome alot of fun things for kids rides and the butter Cow looks awesome, and they had food around , the Sammy Haggar Concert was Fantastic.

It was very hot that day. Being in the Grandstand was probably the best place to be because of the shade it provided and the breeze from being up higher and in the open. Everything was conveniently located and the workers were helpful.

Unfortunately, the day these photos were taken, August 17, 2023, the day's entire harness racing program was rained out by a storm that came through about 15 minutes before the first race.

Saw Alanis Morissette in concert. Beers and sodas were $5 each and not very cold. A lot of steps. Was a little hard trying to figure out where to get outside the grandstands.

This is a great venue. I saw The Doobie Brothers tonight. Awesome show, awesome place.
Don't hesitate to go to the Illinois State Fair. It's great!!

Was there for harness racing, loved it. Great set up, volunteers doing a great job.

I love the Illinois State Fair. I've been going since I was a kid. So much to see and learn.

The Springfield Mile is the best race on the AFT schedule. Every Labor Day.

Lots of booths, venders, animals and rides. Food is always great!

Fun week to end the summer. Lots to see & do. Carnival rides, a variety of food, horse races, dog shows, you can even milk a cow!

Vose Corndog stand is open 11-3 friday thru sunday May through August by the grandstand. its the best!

It's always a good time here. Great variety of food, rides, games, and music.

Lil Wayne was super dope and sold out, actually the biggest concert at the state fair in history. 15,427 People in attendance
