Earl's Chill and Grill

My daughter and I came in for lunch after a PT appointment. I wasn't sure about the food (as - in my mind, this place is branded as an ice cream place). We both ordered burgers, fries and a soda. Shocked, literally! We BOTH were floored at how good the food was (no offense) and inexpensive?! Burgers were big, flavorful and juicy and the fries were on a whole notha level.. Service and atmosphere's great. Staff was polite, courteous and fast (and all this for around $20) nice work! We knew you guys nail the ice cream via the drive through but I had no idea the goodness that is your actual food! I'm bummed I waited so long to try it! Nice job, Thank yoU!

We grabbed burgers to go! Great choice over other fast food options. Someday I might have to go back for dessert though, cause that list of ingredients was crazy 😁

The kids love this place. We mainly get ice cream from here. The dipped comes is usually our preference. The girls are lovely and very patient with kids that cannot make their mind.

We loved our cheeseburgers and cheese curds and drinks. The ice cream at the end of the meal was amazing. Great customer service and a clean atmosphere to sit down and eat our meal.

We stopped by this past Saturday after a soccer game for the kids. We tried multiple items, and I will highlight our favorites. Love supporting local family-owned :)!

The location has outdoor seating and indoor. Open concept and cozy. Check out the pics.

•Food•
For me, the clear winner was the Ice cream. I got a mixer with Reese's pieces and butter finger. I loved the ice cream that is used here, and I believe this will be our go-to, not to mention it's only minutes away from the house 😉.

We also enjoyed the fries and hamburgers.

They offer many other options, and I recommend you try them out if you are in the area and see what you think.

The name Earls comes from one of the owner's late father as a tribute.

They hire 14-year-olds (many locations don't do this anymore, excellent first job experience! )

Delicious food, friendly staff, affordable, fast and best of all LOCAL! I will be back as there are so many things I want to try on the menu! Thank you for opening in Marion, we needed a nice welcoming family owned business like this! I hope others love it as much as I do and support it to keep it in our community for 50+ years!

I absolutely love this place! The food is made to order so it’s always fresh and how you like it. It is a toss up between the bbq burger and the chicken sandwich- but in all honesty, I’ve tried everything and have never been disappointed.

The BBQ burger is my favorite not only for the portion size- it’s not small- but for the combination of items.. They do not over do it with BBQ sauce which lets the other layers shine. They do add the fried onion straws to it which, in my opinion takes this burger to the next level.

The biggest surprise is their addition of breakfast. I have stopped by to pick up some breakfast sandwiches and a coffee - I highly recommend! Not only was the quality great- the service was fast and friendly. As you can’t go wrong with all the ice cream treats. With a great selection in every category- there is something for everyone. I just finished a chicken sandwich and am already looking forward to my return.

Overall just a great burger joint! The Ternderloin is pretty dang good too - sometimes we pop in just for their ice cream! Love having a place like this local and within walking distance.

This little place is amazing! Their ice cream is great every time I go. This is the 1st time I tried their burgers. And it is so good! Very juicy. Their staff is always friendly and smiling. And as a bonus… their spoons are color changing.

We love this place. Tons of options, good food, good kids meals, and they even have color-changing spoons!

Welcoming staff, good food at a competitive price (comparable to modern chains). Clean and updated interior. I had the chicken sandwich which was very good.

First visit....family atmosphere! Loved my sundae.The soft serve ice cream has a lovely thick texture. Much better than that (other) ice cream place. Hubby says his coffee was excellent. He was impressed with the ribbed texture on the recyclable cups. No burned fingers! Such a sensible solution.

Shout out to the amazing workers yesterday afternoon! During an incredibly busy time, they were so kind, working quickly, and the food was great!

This was the old Parlor City location. It still has fast food and ice cream options. Very good "concretes" or "mixers". Maybe they're called "twists"?

That are similar to Dairy Queen Blizzards. The mixed ice cream treats have extra toppings, as well as mixed candy and cookies. For example, I had an Oreo and my husband has Butterfinger. There was extra Oreo and Butterfinger on top. I thought that was nice!

First time here today. It was actually better than I expected. All the food was nice and hot. Corn nuggets, (which I'd never had before) were very yummy. Place definitely lives up to its name: hot food, cold ice cream. Yes, everything is fried, but that's the point. Still tasty. :-)

The food and ice cream are SOOO good!! My daughter and I both had “special request” ice cream/shake orders and they accommodated with no issue. Ice cream is absolutely 10/10.

We also got the chicken sandwich, corn nuggets and a side of ranch. I was honestly super impressed with the food as well and will be back to try more! The chicken sandwich was kind of like mcchicken style, but much bigger/tastier/fresher ingredients.

Stuck at a swim meet until late, I needed a place nearby to get food for me and the hungry boys and wife and this was my only nearby option. But they came through big time. Great sizes, good food, and open at 8:45 pm at night. Never been there before, we don't get over here often, but will definitely come back in the future. It has a locally-owned feel, really like supporting local businesses, so if any of that appeals to you, give this place a try.

Very nice locally owned ice cream shop. The staff is always nice and friendly and the portions are very good size. They offer real food if you need something more than ice cream.
Will definitely become a go to staple for us to get an ice cream treat!
