Bickford of Marion

My mother has resided at Bickford for the past 8 months. I can honestly tell you, I have not one complaint. The staff has been absolutely amazing!!! They treat my mom like family, and her medical status has improved tremendously. I reside in Florida, and they have gone above and beyond with communication, and assisting in my mother’s care, from afar. I 100% recommend Bickford of Marion.

The Bickford staff is wonderful! Mom has been in their loving care for 2 years and we have developed strong relationships and communication. The BFMs know mom and how to work with her to achieve good outcomes and smiles, especially when I might not be as successful. We both appreciate Bickford and their extra efforts to do whatever it takes. Thank you!

I’ve worked at Bickford for a little over a year now and it is genuinely the best place I’ve ever worked. I’ve worked at many facilities all over Iowa and nothing compares to the friendliness, compassion, and commitment shown here at Bickford. All of the staff here cares so much about each and every one of our residents and goes above and beyond for them. The staff here are amazing! They go above and beyond every single day to ensure excellent care is given to the people who live here. They get to know each resident and their families and provide endless opportunities for connection, support and fun. If you are looking at options for your loved one, you need to tour Bickford of Marion!

So kind with my Grandma. Always doing something to keep busy. So kind like a family. She also gets to keep a few flowers outside her window in her room. Love this place so much.

Bickford is an amazing environment to work in! The director, Misty, is very flexible and is always doing what’s best for the staff and residents :) All the residents are very well cared for. I couldn’t recommend Bickford more.

I have attended several events at Bickford of Marion - Halloween pet parades and, most recently, a July 4th weekend picnic. All events are well organized and very resident focused. Good time was had by all. Obvious that all the staff care about the lovely seniors as well as the families who love them!!

Bickford has the best staff in town! Every resident and their loved ones are treated like family. If you are looking for care for a loved one, this is the place to look.

I have been with Bickford of Marion for 4 years and it's safe to say I call it home. Misty, the director, goes out of her way to ensure resident safety, happiness and needs are met. April, the nurse, goes above and beyond to ensure all medical needs are met for each individuals needs. Megan is our trooper out storming the streets to make sure everyone knows how amazing we are, making sure everyone knows that the CNA's and CMA's love our jobs. We love your family members as our own! Bickford is the place to be!

Bickford Marion is the best. You can truly see how much they care for their residents and interact with families to make sure they know what’s going on. The entire staff makes you feel like family. I cannot say enough amazing things about the Director, Nurse, and Family Advocate!

Megan F. is an excellent ambassador for Bickford of Marion. She is always helping to make sure that the community is aware when they have openings, and is an advocate for the valuable classes and experiences that Bickford offers not only to their families, but to our community as a whole. Excellent organization!

The staff offer support and education to the community where they serve, family members of their residents, and anyone whose life has been impacted by a loved one with memory decline. They treat their residents with respect and compassion and are dedicated to creating a warm, supporting environment.

Bickford appears to be a strong community, where residents are treated like family! The staff appear super creative in helping their residents to find joy in every day life, as well ensuring their medical needs are being met!

The staff at Bickford does an amazing job at caring for the residents, and bringing them smiles. Seeing the residents socialize and make friends with their neighbors is also something that I love seeing here!

I am honor to have such amazing staff taking care of my grandpa and making sure he is getting the proper care needed for him! The staff is wonderful as well as the DON who always make sure the residents needs are meet. Misty is always making sure the staff and family of the residents are heard.

I feel very fortunate to be a part of this community. The caregivers at Bickford of Marion are amazing and they do such a great job of cultivating relationships with the residents. Fun activities, and a cozy environment make Bickford feel like home.

I was able to visit my grandma, Jan today at Bickford and boy, was it a party. They had a July 4th theme, picnic food and a lovely performer, “Lena Adams Music” who kept it hopping. I have never dreamed she could be so fortunate to call this place home. The staff is so caring and go out of their way to take care of everyone’s needs. Most impressive, they actually care as evidenced in the smile on my grandmothers face, no matter who on the staff engages her. Priceless. Highly recommend.

I have been working at Bickford for about 1.5 years now and absolutely love it. It is a great environment to be in. The staff are all friendly and the residents make great relationships.

My grandmother was cared for by the staff here and they did an amazing job! They gave her all the love and care they could as her memory declined!! She even was able to get her nails done for the first time ever! She absolutely loved it!! Thank you to all the staff for their incredible love they share with everyone there!!
