The Views Senior Living Of Marion

When my 80+ year old mother was scheduled for two surgeries in May and July this past year, our family agreed that we wanted her to stay at the Views. This was her second stay at the Views-- she had also recovered there following an earlier surgery. We don't want to mention names (for fear we may forget someone). Suffice it to say that the administrative staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and helped us through Medicare and insurance issues. We also very much appreciated the efforts of the skilled nurses, the physical therapy specialists and all of the assistants who helped with her recovery. Kudos to all of the good people at the Views for getting mom on the road to recovery!!

My Mom is in memory care. When I come to visit her, she's always in a good mood, and says she likes where she's at. The staff keeps the residents busy with many activities. I always enjoy visiting with them. They also like to hear the stories Mom tells them, and when they find out it really happened, it makes their day. When I leave, I feel comfortable knowing she's being well taken care of.

My grandma had a skilled stay at The Views of Marion. The staff are amazing. My grandma loved the coffee (this was very important to her!) I was able to leave everyday knowing she was taken care of with very caring staff.

I have nothing but positive things to say about TheViews. Our dad spent the last few weeks of his life there. The staff and everyone was extremely kind and compassionate. Sam/DON did an excellent job addressing his needs and keeping us informed along the way, she clearly takes the time to know each resident. Thank you to all the staff for being so loving during a precious time in our dad's life

The Views, all of its employees, takes wonderful care of my Mom. She has a lot of needs and everyone is so patient with her. Thank you for taking the extra steps needed during the Covid-19 situation

Money over helping. This is how it was explained to me by Views management. We had reached out for a quick rehabilitation stay for my Mother that is 100% covered by insurance. (She has primary and a secondary) Up to 100 days, PT notes believe it will take 30-45 days for rehab. They had rooms open and had us fill out an application, they promptly said all beds where filled and denied us, (communicated to the hospital) without reaching out to anyone on the application. I called back a few days later starting the request over and was told space is available, after telling them we already put our app in, they told me we are denied because she believes we couldn’t afford to live there after insurance stops paying. That they are a private facility and my mom would be happier at a public facility. Then told me their room rate was $300 like this was supposed to be some insane amount to us?

It’s sad to know this facility is ran with the money over helping, denying before verifying management style. My heart goes out to anyone that has been treated like this from the views and made to feel less of a person by the views lack of human emotions.

We put our mother into the Views of Marion. She has been there one week. Mom is gluten intolerant. Apparently the kitchen doesn’t know how to handle gluten free diets. She was served vegetable soup as her main course for her dinner. She received a side of peas.... that’s it!!! OMGOODNESS.

Don’t leave any of your belongs behind for any reason no matter how important they are to you they say they discard immediately And don’t expect them to answer your phone calls or return them!!!!!

All I have to say is the housekeeping management sucks
