Mi Patria Mexican Restaurant

Mi Patria is soooo much better than the other Mexican food places I’ve tried.

We got the burrito texano and it had shrimp, steak, chicken and chorizo. Their empanadas are PHENOMENAL (chickens better than the beef) and the churros with ice cream was to die for.

I brought my family for the first time, and they did like it so far. I ask for salmon in garlic sauce the sauce was a little bit salty for me. The rice was good and the salad. My boyfriend did like the chicken quesadilla not the rice and my son love the burger. Great service!

I had a group of 24 last night. The staff didn't bat an eye when I walked in and said I had 16 ppl. They arranged tables and chairs and got us sat immediately. Unfortunately, I had more guest than expected bringing my count from 16 to 24 after several of us had already been sat. Once again, the staff didn't bat an eye, but quickly accommodated the extra people as they came, and keep us all sat together. Our server was an absolute rockstar getting our drinks, taking our orders, AND to my knowledge, getting everything right!! The food was so good. This might just be my new favorite Mexican restaurant in town. I had the Mi Patria dip, 2 for $9.99 margs, and the Al Pastor tacos. It was all SO good, and only $32 before tip!!
10/10 recommend!!

I have a few favorite Mexican restaurants but whenever I treat guests to an end of project dinner, this is where we go.

Today I stopped in for lunch because I just couldn't face making lunch after the last week of days. Got the green burrito. Good stuff. I mean, how can you mess up Mexican? Believe it or not, some places can. Really enjoy Mi Patria. The pork chops with the green sauce is also a favorite.

Love this restaurant everytime we go the service is WONDERFUL. The food is SPECTACULAR!!!! DEFINITELY recommend this place, a couple of my faves are hungos borrachos, and order of cactus or as they say nopales.

We went on a busy Saturday night, a little bit of a wait, but not too bad. The waiter was very nice.

I went to the new one on Rutherford where Applebee's used to be and I was shocked. The restaurant looked amazing
Really bright and fresh looking. The food was the best Mexican I've ever had. They did an amazing job on the remodel.

tldr: Gluten-free friendly, booths make it easier with the Covid...

Just passing through Murfreesboro, wanted tacos and a margarita (pretty much always do). I want Mexican food, not Tex Mex or burritos or hardshell tacos with ground beef. At first Mi Patria looked like the usual strip mall kinda joint, but the cooler at the door was full of Jarritos, a good sign.

Covid - I was anxious about eating inside, due to Covid, but they have high booths that are fairly insular, and that convinced me to go inside. All the staff was wearing masks, but they weren't spacing seating (that I saw). I had my mask on except when I was eating or drinking.

Drinks - pitcher of margarita was good! Fairly standard but not too bright green or sour mix tasting. Definitely plenty for two people.

Most of the menu didn't interest me, until I saw CEVICHE! It was a little plain, but very fresh - and plentiful. Enough for two people. My partner loved the green burrito he got, and I spooned the green sauce onto my plate.

Great little spot - hope the ice cream place next door is open if I'm ever back in town!

The new location on South Rutherford is great! Food was bomb, especially the alcohol drinks. They were great!! Hoping it stays like that and nothing changes with food and drinks. Great place to dine in. 🤌🏻🤙🏼

We are originally from California and have had a hard time finding a good Mexican restaurant with great flavor. I think we found it!!

Hands down!! My favorite Mexican restaurant!!! I've tried venturing out to other Mexican places, but nothing beats this place. I love their salsa! And I always get the same thing when I am there- steak mexicano! 😋🤤 I HIGHLY recommend dining here! They have a variety to chose from, but I always order the same thing. Hehe.

Been going for years, then stopped going because they quit giving free queso with chips.
Went back a couple times over this year
Prefer Los Barrilos, but great standard Tex-Mex

Amazing food with prices you'd except for the quality. Staff was the best with some friendly and pretty smiles.

Food was fantastic. Girlfriend rated the frozen margaritas as a 5/5 and she's typically pretty picky. Atmosphere was great. Overall great experience.

Great place to have fun with the family! The food is delicious && authentic, with generous portions. Staff was friendly & attentive, even when the place was full of customers. The bathroom however, was not up to par, the women's toilet was leaking all over the floor. There was no warning posted. Besides that, the restaurant is amazing. I recommend the chimichangas.

First time here and the food is amazing. Their prices are very reasonable. Chips and salsa are very good. I had the bean soup. AMAZING!! Will come here again most definitely.
