There is always an act of faith necessary when allowing workmen into a home. Without a doubt, Gothart Homes more than rewarded our “leap of faith”. Chris & his team could not have been more professional, friendly & efficient remodeling our master bath.

Chris listened to our thoughts, made innovative suggestions & greatly improved our vision for our remodel. He saved us money in his design, scheduled his crews efficiently to minimize interference. Our master bath is still awesome years after the work was completed.

Gothart Homes and Renovations are the absolute best. They completely renovated our home and after working with them I strongly recommend you hire them for your next project. The work they did was of the highest quality, the communication was great from start to finish, and they made the renovation a really enjoyable experience.

Chris and his subcontractors did an excellent job on our new porch addition! They replaced a dilapidated wood porch, added a roof, gutters, downspout drains, a brick and concrete porch, and a big wrap-around concrete patio. They installed new electrical, fans, and canned lights too. I work from home so I was able to catch a few potential mistakes with framing, concrete, and drainage before they occurred. I have no doubt Chris would make it right had I not been home. I did have a couple call-backs to get some vinyl work repaired (wavy ceiling and a couple ugly joints). Chris had recently lost his screen contractor so I had to find one myself. BLT did an excellent job for me. I had to install my own stair rails as well, which I purchased through Home Depot after tons of research (Peak Aluminum Deck Railing). I also did my own landscaping with top soil and sod to finish it off.
The concrete contractor did not cover my brick when pouring, so I ended up with a good bit of splatters across the back of the house. That’s the one mistake I wish we had avoided. Chris paid a pressure washer to come do his best to remedy it, but it was mostly permanent.
Chris’ communication was great. He helped me finalize my design with a future pool in mind. I thought he was fair on price as well. I would definitely do business with Chris again!

Gothart Homes has done a lot of work on our home from putting in new windows with custom trim to a complete kitchen remodel including taking out a wall to adding a partially covered patio to our back yard. Most recently we had a water leak in our primary shower (they did not install the original shower) and Chris went above and beyond with our insurance company to get us reimbursed and completely redid our beautiful new shower. Would we use them again? Absolutely! And we recommend them to all our friends.

Gothart homes did an amazing jobs on our attic addition. They were extremely punctual and professional. All communication was done through an app in which all
Parties could see and respond. That was extremely helpful! I would 1000% recommend. The end project was absolutely beautiful and done exactly the way we wanted. They ensured I was completely happy before they were done!

Second remodel with Gothart Homes. Professionals yet they feel like good friends! Our new kitchen is everything and more we had hoped for! I used Gothart’s for a master bathroom remodel. Chris, Steven, and Kristen were a joy to work with. They are professional - yet feel like family! This professional also includes their subcontractors. They cleaned up everything before they left every day. The entire team was pleasant to work with and super quick to respond to text messages at all times. Having Kristen help with the bathroom design also sets Gothart’s standards above all other remodeling contractors! She set up all appointments for tile, countertop, vanity, etc. and guided me through each decision. Words that come to mind to describe Gothart’s team are: trustworthy, honest, conscientious, easy to communicate with, professional, top quality, on time, experienced, responsive, dependable, pleasant. I will definitely use this team again for any future projects!

Gothart Homes completed a whole house renovation for us and built a bedroom/bathroom in the second story space of our two story living room. Other contractors shied away from flooring in our 20 foot ceilings, but Chris Gothart made me feel optimistic and confident about the job after the very first meeting. While we were at it, we expanded and completely remodeled the kitchen, as well as the existing 3 bathrooms. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful home! Gothart is very responsive, professional, trustworthy, and just a great company to work with. We highly recommend Gothart for any remodel or new build!

Chris and his crews have done two projects for us over the past year. The first was a complete and extensive upgrade to our master bathroom, master bedroom, and upstairs bathroom. The second was the take down of our deck, and the construction of a larger screened-in porch, with vaulted ceiling, floor-to-ceiling fireplace, composite flooring, a faux stone wall, and French door installation. Minor challenges and hiccups were dealt with quickly and without fanfare. The pictures speak for themselves. I have recommended Chris to other neighbors and friends. Enough said.

Where to begin!? Gothart did a HUGE renovation for us. They completely gutted our entire living, dining, and den down to the studs and created an open floor plan, while also raising our old 8 foot ceilings into a beautiful 11 ft vault. The transformation was incredible. Their contractors and main crew were very professional, and I always felt comfortable with them in our home. Chris Gothart and his site manager, Stephen, were so quick to respond and answer questions that they made us feel like we were their only clients, when, in reality, they had several other projects going on at the same time. I was actually surprised at how transparent they were throughout the entire process--keeping us informed of even small price increases for supplies and keeping an updated spreadsheet of all costs involved so that we always knew where things were. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Anyone who has done a renovation knows there are a lot of hidden issues. Chris and team were great at keeping us informed and explaining potential and discovered issues.

Professional from start to finish. I appreciated the minimum job requirements and quote process. I assumed they were serious professionals. I thought the price was good for the amount of work.

The communication was great. We had demolition, windows and doors installed, brickwork done, electrical, vinyl, sheetrock, and gutters. Each crew was impressive. They cleaned up all the time.

Gothart uses a great communication tool that kept my wife and I informed simultaneously with each step and provided a weekly report. Already have recommended them and will continue.

Gothart Homes & Renovations recently completed a total remodel of my kitchen, opening it up to the family room, and also totally remodeled my master bathroom, changing the location of the shower, bathtub, vanity, and linen cabinet. I couldn't be happier with the final configuration and end result! Chris' crew and subs were total professionals, did very high-quality work, which included tile work, custom-built cabinets, hardwood floor installation and refinishing.
