Kona Grill - Huntsville

They were giving out free shots, while we were eating wagyu steak, fried chicken and sushi. What better way to spend the evening! The service was outstanding!

Firstly, service was awesome! We were greeted by a duo host team that made sure our family of 2 adults + 3 smaller kids were welcome. Our server was great.. Not over the top awkward, just consistent & helpful. Secondly, the food and options were way better than expected! I can’t wait to go back

I was here for a work conference and Jo the new bartender made me one of the best martinis I’ve ever had. Shaken not stirred ;-). Also the NY steak was like butter. AAA+++ Would recommend.

Absolutely amazing! I have forgotten the name of our server but she was so sweet and helpful! She told us about happy hour and that certain things were half off! (Or at least a discounted rate)
The food was absolutely amazing, sooo good! I highly recommend the meatballs, I couldn’t get enough! The atmosphere is a bit more on the fancy side, but the staff treated us with care!
I will say the food is a bit pricey: for two people it was around $100, but the food is definitely worth it in my opinion.
Definitely will be coming back!

We had the watermelon rita and the passion rita, which were both delicious drinks. The avocado egg rolls were delicious as were the coconut shrimp rolls. Pad Thai for an entree which luckily we shared because there was a lot of it and it also was yummy! Service was great, would definitely go back!

The food was full of flavor and very good. Recommend the French Dip. I substituted Mac and cheese for the chips and was very satisfied with the change.

Our waiter, Fabian was amazing! Memorable service and super friendly! The food and atmosphere were great as well! 🥳

We had Fabian as our server and he was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is amazing and so were the drinks. My husband ordered the ribs and had to exchange them for something else but the macaroni made up for it. Would come here again!

The place was really clean and the music was nice. They gave me a rose when we walked in as we came on Valentine’s Day and I loved it. I came in with my baby and my husband and the waitresses were so nice and also talked to my baby when she woke up. They let me put her carseat in the chair and pulled it up beside me. The food was literally amazing. And the price was pricy but it was worth it for the quality of the food and you get a lot of food. The secret sauce it was amazing. I could tell they were hard working people and we would definitely come back again.

We went to Kona Grill Huntsville for my birthday brunch. We had fabulous food and excellent, top shelf service from MJ. We highly recommend asking for MJ when you visit this location. We will definitely be back and ask for MJ's station next time!!

The shrimp tacos were fantastic, but be warned, they are VERY spicy (which I loved). I got the butter cake for dessert and nearly passed out from how delicious it was. It was somehow soft, moist, and crumbly all at the same time which I didn't even know was possible for cake. (It normally comes with a raspberry sauce, but I asked to not have any.)

Also, my service was incredible. I arrived late at night not long before they closed when the restaurant was empty and only taking to-go orders. They could have turned me away, but my waitress Nicole decided to seat me anyway. She was super nice and helpful, and personally recommended my amazing meal and dessert. If you go here and have the privilege of having Nicole as your waitress be sure to give her a big tip.

I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in Huntsville.

Food is awesome!! We loved this dining experience! Calamari was delicious as were shrimp tacos! Fabian was our server and was exceptional and very attentive! We love the kids bento box, as well. The grilled chicken in the bento box was yum!

The servers have always been great and attentive. But the food has been amazing. I can appreciate the staff and quality of food for when my family comes here to eat after a long day. We had Whitney as our server tonight and had a great experience just as we do every time we come here. I will be coming here often based on their patriotism to having a military discount, the service they provide, and the food.

James was an awesome waiter. He went above and beyond to meet all of our needs during my birthday. Even got me some candles for my cake that we forgot to bring. The food was amazing. We had egg Benedict, steaks, burgers, sliders, salmon, sushi, pot stickers, brainiac pull apart and everything was amazing.

Update: Fabian is an attentive and informative server, taking the time to answer our questions about the new items. New brunch menu just out. Eggs Benedict was great. KG burger was made to order. Omelet was cooked to perfection. From 3 years ago: Excellent sea bass sliders and carrot cake.

We ate lunch there today and had a fantastic experience. There were staff members cleaning inside and out, so we could tell they took cleanliness seriously. The staff was friendly and the manager checked on everyone and also has a good sense of humor. Our server (Abby) did an excellent job. The food came out quickly and was enjoyed by all. The dessert was also excellent and we had to bring a good bit back with us. We'll definitely eat here next time we're in town.

Destiny provided fantastic service!!! This place was delicious. I loved everything we had. Everything was seasoned so well, everything I had was amazing. I always enjoy this place. The music also is great!

Fabian was a great server and host. He was very friendly and patient due to our first time dining. We will definitely return when we visit Huntsville again.

On a Saturday night, we waited maybe 10 minutes. They seated us quickly.

Food ~ °Seabass Sliders ~ They only come in 2, but they are so delicious! Try them! °Surf & Turf Waygu & Shrimp w/Sweet potato fries. Steak was tender & flavorful, shrimp, was very good. Fries were crispy!
°Macadamia Nut Chicken was amazing! A lot more food than I expected. The green beans were the best, I'd eat them as a main course lol

Drink ~ °Sake Flight ~ if you can't decide on a flavor, then try all three!!
°Patio Bubbles ~ Must try!!! It's fruity but strong!
°Midtown Manhattan ~ Don't let the look fool you! It is a man's man drink. Very strong!

Dessert ~ °Carrot cake - melt in your mouth!
°Chocolate cake - I haven't eaten it yet, I'm given it to my kiddos tomorrow. Will update! *Update* It was melt in your mouth! It's really really sweet but it is really good.

***I had the Seabass when we came in March last year for my birthday, and it is to die for!!! Amazing! It is a must try!!!***

When we walked through the main entrance, we were greeted by the hostess who immediately complimented my wife on her dress which made her day. Then we were immediately seated at our table and it happened to be happy hour, so our hostess made several great recommendations from the happy hour menu. My wife had the Bama roll which hit the spot. I had the chicken flat bread which along with my Kona Big Wave made for a great lunch. Our waiter, Christopher was very attentive and friendly. I hadn’t been to any Kona Grill before, but after this experience, I will likely be back soon.
