Skating in the Park

My kids loved it. The staff is very kind and helpful. It's clean, they even have outside heaters and a concession stand with hot chocolate. We have been 3 times since Christmas Eve and tonight will be our last time until next year. I recommend taking the kids or just yourself it's lots of fun , we enjoy it a lot.

It's the first time I visit this place and the second time I try skiing. It's really fun, I loved it

Even though the ice and skates aren't the best, this is still a great activity to do, and it's a lot of fun. I just really wish they would play Christmas music

The park itself was very pretty and had a good system for getting skates. The only complaint I would have is that the rink workers barely do their job and the rink is lowkey dangerous cause there are weird teens pushing children around 😭 the guy holding the beginner helping things barely guarded them and so many people were stealing them when they had to pay

This is a quaint place to go for an outing and supports a good cause. We didn't skate as long as we would have liked to because the ice was in bad shape due to them not being able to maintain it as well as if it were a for-profit venture. The atmosphere makes up for it though. I'd say if you can tie it into a winter day trip with a few of the other downtown attractions like the Tinsel Trail then it's worth going to. If you are just wanting a place to skate though I'd suggest the public skate at the local indoor rink instead. Also note it is a seasonal attraction that closes in mid-January.

This was a fun experience for my husband and I and our nieces to go to. It is conveniently located next to the Tinsel Trail and is very well lit. The price was reasonable ($15/person). There was a food truck where you could buy hit chocolate and other snacks parked right beside the tickets sales booth. It was slightly crowded at some points and the ice had divots in it in some places, which were marked by the presence of small orange cones. There were supports to use if needed. We'll be back again next year!
