My wife’s birthday. Easily accessible to Apple Hill and local restaurants. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and clean. Karen and David are terrific hosts and made us feel at home. Breakfast was A1! Highly recommend this B&B for a romantic getaway!

Simply ah-mazing! My partner and I booked the Gray Pine room which had the most amazing corner private balcony & the biggest tub. Definitely get their homemade bath products as an add-on!

The homemade breakfast both mornings was delicious, our on-site massages were the best ever, the property is filled with lots of beautiful places to sit.

If you love baths and peace and quiet, this is the perfect place for a romantic getaway!

The owner/hosts are on site and are personally invested in the comfort and satisfaction of every guest. They offer outstanding customer service and are knowledgeable about the area with great local food and activity recommendations. The rooms are spotless and the linens all appeared to be in new condition. The breakfast was next level delicious and left us looking forward to the next day’s menu every morning! I triple highly recommend Eden Vale. This is truly a special and very peaceful place. You will not be disappointed.

This is an amazing inn that invites you to an environment of rustic elegance. It is a place to recharge. It is the awesome combination of the beauty of nature and the attention to every detail of creature comforts. There’s the pond, the water features, benches placed in the perfect spots to drink in the beauty. And then there is the quirky, like bowling balls perched in trees and planters and bushes all over the place. The breakfasts are gourmet and delicious delivered to your room every morning. The owners Dave and Karen are warm and welcoming. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My husband and I stayed here recently to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The owners at this bed and breakfast are so amazing and kind. They made the experience unforgettable and checked in on us multiple time, which we really appreciated. They even asked about plans during our stay and were kind enough to provide recommendations. Their website had so much helpful information on things to do and places to go which we definitely took advantage of. The breakfast they prepared each morning was amazing and was one of the highlights of our trip. This place blew away our expectations and is is somewhere we cannot wait to go back and visit. We highly recommend staying at this bed and breakfast.

Such a beautiful setting! We felt more relaxed each minute as we went through the gates and approached the main building. The paths, the ponds and the artwork captured our imaginations and delighted our senses. And when we opened the door to our room and saw the meticulous care and artistic details we knew we would be as comfortable and happy to be there as any fine hotel we’ve been to. And then there was the delicious breakfast - we will be back. Thank you, Eden Vale.

What would highly recommend a stay At Eden Vale Inn. They seemed to have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable & private. Such a beautiful setting! Our breakfast was excellent, elegantly set, delicious with a few surprises.
Add to that very gracious and caring hosts, who could ask for more.

We stayed for just a single night and wished we could've stayed longer. If you want to walk to your dining options then this isn't for you, but if you want to only hear the wind in the trees and crickets, then this place is great. No road noise, no sound of neighbors, just quiet. Only 20 minutes from Placerville, this place is relaxing and private.

Staff was great, very welcoming and informative on the experience and options for the area. The breakfast they made in the morning was very good and likely would've cost us $40 anywhere else.

The room was very clean and had everything you'd need for a single night or a week's stay. The large soaking tub was great to relax in while we looked at the stars before bed.

We also booked an hour long massage that was very well done. All the usual "extras" like aromatherapy were included and the masseuse were very professional.

We will be back the next few weekend we have.

We loved our stay at Edendale! Such a wonderful retreat. Beautifully appointed, peaceful and very comfortable. Impeccably clean. Upscale linens, towels, bathroom fixtures, lighting. Loved the private outdoor tub. The outdoor common kitchen was useful. Gorgeous grounds.

My husband and I stayed in the Juniper Room while we visited our son and daughter-in-law at Rock-N-Water Christian Camp. Our main goal was to come back to a quiet and restful place with AC after we were done whitewater rafting and enjoying the area with them. Eden Vale Inn thankfully gave us more than we hoped! The property was filled with whimsy, serenity, and beauty. We even enjoyed time in the pond on the little rowboat. The staff was more than accommodating. They thoughtfully took note of my dietary allergies. Our room was cozy yet updated, very clean and prepared with everything we needed. We would definitely stay at Eden Vale Inn again.

Our experience at Eden Vale validates everything that's been said here by other guests. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the property is beautiful and the attention to detail is remarkable. One example: the lighting system, in which all the switches are clearly labeled, eliminating that guessing game one always has to play when settling into a hotel room. You can also turn off all the room lights from one button next to your bed.

We stayed in Stone Pine, a downstairs room that felt like a secret hideaway. I love that you can pull the curtain to the foyer. We felt like we had the place to ourselves, even though all the parking places were full for the weekend.

As some reviewers have noted, there is a lot of communication from the innkeepers via text, but I found it all to be useful information and referred to it multiple times. They've clearly thought of all the questions guests might ask and presented answers proactively.

Reviewers have also noted that this isn't in a walkable location, however that seems like a small thing compared to the upside--peace and quiet in the countryside; beautiful grounds to roam around, with many little nooks for reading or yoga, and a spacious, well equipped outdoor kitchen at your disposal. There is lots to do in the area once you hop in your car, but there's also a strong temptation never to leave the grounds--it's that idyllic.

My husband and I stayed two nights while visiting our brother and his wife. Everything was extremely well taken care of and you see the sincerity and pride in what they do. We will definitely come back. Next time, we will make sure to schedule our flight right so that we won't miss the breakfast!!! ;)

We checked in to the inn and were greeted by the owner. It is a bed and breakfast so the staff is not there 24 hours. The rooms are nicely decorated and there was thought when they decorated the rooms. The showers are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the lightening is modern there is also a keurig coffee maker and two bottles of water are in the room. There are soaking tubs with privacy screens on the patios of the rooms robes are provided per request.The breakfast is served every morning by 9:15am. As for the location you are 11 miles from Downtown Placerville. There is nothing around the inn. So if you don’t want to drive out for food, bring it with you. They provide community fridges and there is a community kitchen and BBQ. The grounds are are very nice and there is a fire pit to sit around at night. The inn will provide a wine pass to save on tastings as there are a lot of wineries in the area . Overall we had a lovely stay and will be back in the future.

Enchanting property! Exquisite, peaceful and private. Wonderful room with private patio and outside soaking tub. Access to kitchenette right off room or full outdoor kitchen with pizza oven situated by beautiful pond. A great find!

We stayed there with friends for the first time. This inn is a hidden gem with zen -like relaxing rooms on a beautiful property. The breakfasts were homemade and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely WONDERFUL stay here. Karen and David have clearly thought of every little detail. The property is gorgeous, the rooms are cozy, the soaking tubs were so relaxing and wonderful. The night we arrived, we ordered in from Wally's Pizza Bar and ate by the fire pit, overlooking the sunset on the pond. The next morning, breakfast delivered to us was delicious! We took outside again. Would come back again and highly recommend staying here to all!

I can't rave enough about our stay at Eden Vale Inn Bed and Breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality. Jonah (front desk attendant) was extremely helpful and provided all the necessary tools to make our stay more enjoyable. But what truly sets Eden Vale Inn apart is the incredible service and COMMUNICATION. They sure did go above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.
The Gray Pine (room we stayed in) was like something out of a fairytale – beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, private patio, private outdoor tub, and oh-so-comfortable. The attention to detail was impeccable, the food was out of this world. Breakfast each morning was an absolute highlight. Served straight to your door, the spread was nothing short of spectacular – freshly baked pastries, seasonal fruit, and mouthwatering homemade entrees that left us eager for more.
The grounds of the B&B are equally enchanting, with manicured gardens and peaceful seating areas perfect for enjoying a good book. If you want to enjoy a romantic scene such as rowing a boat with your partner, let me tell you, it is such a treat!!

My wife and I got married and started our honeymoon getaway here at Eden Vale. It was a dream come true. There was incredible accommodation for later check in and getting our back into our room. It was such a relaxing experience and beginning to marriage. I would absolutely suggest Eden Vale to anyone interested in a beautiful weekend getaway up in the hills where it’s quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Karen was such a sweetheart as well.

We celebrated early 22nd anniversary, stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast was excellent and the fact they deliver to you was a bonus as well. We stayed at Gray Pine and really loved the room. Only 1 thing we wished we had was walkability near the property. We had to drive to a nearby park to do some walking. There is not much room for pedestrians for a morning/early evening walk on the street in front of the inn.
But overall, it’s a 5 star place… they paid great attention to details. We would like to come back in winter time.

The innkeepers are absolutely wonderful and the rooms are beautiful. The whole experience was very peaceful, which is exactly what we were hoping for. We left feeling cared for and super refreshed. Plus those soaking tubs are excellent!
