Achilles Art Cafe (Hiawassee)

This place has everything you would want for a cafe. Excellent coffee, delicious food, superb service, and an amazing atmosphere.

Since moving to the area, Ive been coming here multiple times a week and it is fantastic every time. The coffee is consistently delicious and nicely presented. If you want quite possibly the best bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich you’ve ever had, look no further than this place.

The music is varied but always nice to listen to and the seating is so comfortable and cozy. There is also many board games available to play if you’d like which is nice.

They sell beer/wine and have a happy hour from 4-6pm (daily?). I have only been once during this time, but the wine was buy one get one free!!

I cannot recommend this place enough!

This might be my favorite cozy little cafe. It is the definition of a hidden gem, from the street it literally blends in. It's charming, warm, and the perfect place to study, work, or to just grab a snack. Everyone that works here is very friendly and welcoming & if you're ever stuck on what to get or need to switch something out, they're very accommodating
They always have an assortment of baked goods, seasonal drinks, and then classic items always available. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

First visit to Achilles Art Cafe in MetroWest, Florida, and it was a genuinely pleasant experience. The cafe has a cozy and eclectic atmosphere, filled with interesting art that adds a unique flair to the space. For a first-timer, the coffee selection was good; each option seemed carefully curated to offer something for every taste. I appreciated the quality of the coffee served, which was brewed well.

🍽 The food menu, while not overly extensive, had enough variety to make me want to return and try different items. The dish I chose was delicious and complemented my coffee well. The service was friendly and welcoming, making my first visit feel like I was a regular.

Although Achilles Art Cafe might not have the buzz of more mainstream spots, its charm, quality, and warmth make it a noteworthy visit for anyone in the area. Looking forward to my next visit to explore more of what they have to offer.

Stopped in for the first time last week and I absolutely loved everything about it! Luis had amazing customer service and explained everything thoroughly. I really appreciated him! I ordered a Dirty Chai and the sandwich on special. They were both delicious and contained premium quality ingredients. The tomato on the sandwich was so juicy and ripe, the seasoning was perfect and the so we're the proportions. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! Lol The chai was smooth and creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. The gentleman who brought out my sandwich informed me of a toothpick holding it in place, he was so kind. The sandwich did take quite a few minutes, but well worth the wait!! They also have Happy hour, weekdays 4-6pm, wine is BOGO! Can we talk about how cute it is inside? And the nice patio area outside? I simply love it here!!!

Amazing atmosphere and wonderful customer service 10/10 recommend this little hidden gem! Food is amazing and the whole store has art from head to toe without feeling cluttered!

I'm in love! As both avid coffee and arts lover, this is my new happy place.

Let's talk about the coffee. I'm a fan of hot and the Mr. prefers his on the colder side. We were both extremely happy with our beverages. Often, one is happy, and the other ends up tolerating a mediocre cup of Joe. Not so here. Finally!

There is seating galore, indoor and out. It holds several living room like spaces for a more intimate feeling. Tables of varied heights are scattered throughout. Televisions, music, and games are readily available if you desire more than the relaxing coffee shop vibes that are abundant here.

I could go on and on all day about the varied things I like about this place. The ultra eclectic decor, friendly staff, and amazing coffee speak enough for themselves. If you haven't already, put this on your coffee shop list. It's on mine to stay.

Really nice place. The staff was very nice. Multiple couches (like 9). I got the caramel macchiato latte, and it was lovely. Got the grilled cheese, and it came with tomato soup, which is how it's meant to be. Already planning to go again with my friends.

Was looking for a place to finish reading a book (The Girl Before; do not recommend) and grab a good coffee, and stumbled upon this gem. Ordered the namesake, Achilles sandwich, and a pistachio latte. The sandwich was so good I forgot to take a picture! Highly recommend.

The ambiance, the food, and the variety of coffee, tea, and other drinks-not sure what more you can ask for. This is my go-to place. Haven't found anywhere else that comes close.

BEST French dip sandwich I’ve ever had. I legit go out of my way to come here and have one whenever I can. The owner is clearly very passionate about his craft, this sandwich has legit zapped my soul back to life. I can’t recommend it enough

I’m so in love with this place, the vibe is just so lovely. I also had a vanilla chai latte & it was just too good. Surprisingly, I wasn’t charged tax for the drink either? I payed in cash. Either way, never loved a cafe so much.

Food and drinks are always amazing. Love coming here when I come through. The French Dip and Achilles Sandwich are my two favorite sandwiches. My go-to coffee is always the cinnamon crumb cake latte. The ambiance is great!

I loved this place. I went in the morning and it was so comfortable, the staff was super kind and friendly and the food is delicious. If you’re looking for a cozy place with fresh food, this is the place. Plus, they were having art class with kids, so sweet.

We got coffee, a Cuban, and a chicken pita. Everything was delicious! It's such a nice place to go eat, relax, and hang out. The food was much better than I expected it to be!

The atmosphere is nice. I’ve come to do work or to hang out with friends and both vibes work here. The coffee has always been great. Can’t speak to the food.

The Art Cafe is amazing. I had the Achilles sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. Everything about it was well done, perfect blend and toasted just right. The cappuccino was delicious. The chai tea Crème Brulee is amazing. Portions are more than enough. The ambiance is comfy and exhilarating. And Achilles, what a wonderful person. Do yourself a favor and go!

I love achilles. We used to go to the old one and now hit this one up. It's nice, bigger and has Ash's personal touch. He's ever present and his hard work is evident. You can't go wrong with achilles cafe!
