The service in the sore was excellent. The only issue was my wife had me spend way more than I originally had planned. Excellent service even after purchase.

Caleb was very helpful, informative and very quick to take care of me and the purchase process of upgrading to my new iPhone 15 Pro!! And our new iPad device and setup!

Place is busy, though happy with my service. Keelan is a great kid and explained everything as we went through purchase of a new phone. He got the current deals for me and upgrade to an improved model I had before. The wait here is not unusual given the small staff and lots foot traffic here. Would recommend this store.

I stopped in here a few weeks ago to find out more about a promotion that I had heard a little about. To be honest, I was not really expecting to meet someone there that was super knowledgeable or cared a lot about taking care of a potential customer. But, I had hopes. When I entered the store I was greeted by a guy named Wesley. I asked him a few questions and was very happy to find that my hopes had been realized. Wesley is very knowledgeable and seeks to make sure that his customers feel comfortable in his store and have all of their questions answered in a manner which is easy to understand.
I was extremely impressed and more than satisfied with the service and care that was provided by Wesley.
This guy is awesome and is the definition a person who cares for his customers. He helped me get my wife's and my own phone upgraded and made sure we received the best promotions that were available.
He also took the time to explain some of the features that our new phones have.
He treated us like friends and made us feel at home. I must say, because of Wesley this was the best experience in a Verizon store that I have ever had! The level of care that Wesley provided was exceptional! If you're looking for any of the services Verizon provides, I highly recommend that you go see Wesley!
You will be happy that you did!

Ashunta was amazing! She was more than helpful in every way and made my experience of purchasing a new iPhone as simple and painless as possible... She went above and beyond in every way and I couldn’t be happier!

I made an appt with a person who didn’t show up at our appt time. However, the lovely young blonde woman at the Athens, Alabama store who booked that appt for me, helped me at my appt time, and (amazingly!) several others in the hour or so it took to set up my new phone. I’m embarrassed that I don’t remember her name, just her description. The store was slammed, yet her smile and super-knowledgeable customer service was the best I’ve ever had at a Verizon branded store in the decade or so that I’ve been a Verizon/iPhone customer!

***EDIT TO POST: I received a phone call from the REAL manager at this store. Her name is Cassidy and let me just tell you, she was AWESOME!!! She was extremely concerned and addressed my problem and was willing to do what it took to make the situation right. She was very disturbed at what i told her and she promised to get to the bottom of what happened. She was just as much in shock as i was. I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is and I believe the Verizon store is going to undergo some wonderful changes and truly be amazing! Thank you, Cassidy, for going above and beyond. I changed my one star to 5 because of her. (2/28/23)

JUST bought BRAND NEW PHONES at the beginning of February. My mom has had nothing but issues with her phone. Called today to get them to fix or swap it out. They knew absolutely nothing and all they (the manager) had to say was “I’m sorry, unfortunately that is against our policy and you will have to call support.” I heard that 3 times and I believe once again as he spoke over my question of if we bought it there why can’t we return it for a new one?? Then, as I’m still talking he proceeds to hang up on me. Tacky customer service. I hate it for the employees who are working under his management. I will make the trip somewhere else before I ever darken the door of this Athens Verizon store. They will be glad to take your money but God forbid you have issues.

Phones transferring took some time but service was good.
