Wally's Cafe (Rocklin - Granite Dr)

My visit here was great! I was greeted by Laura, and her Mom works here as well. She was my waitress. She gave me a couple of mins to look over the menu, but recommend the favorite, which was the Chicken Shwarma and Wow! It did not disappoint. The first thing that came out was some lentil soup, delicious, and then the main food with a small salad and flat tortilla style bread.

Overall, everything was amazing. I was so happy to visit and will definitely make this a have to bring family or friends to that want to try some great Mediterranean Food!! Thank you!

I have come here twice before and I have yet to be disappointed! The food is delicious, the staff (I think all owner’s) are incredibly warm and friendly - I felt like I have come to someone’s home and their family was feeding me! This time we came we both got the combo plate (enough for two meals!) - the chicken shawarma and falafel. The dressing on the salad is AMAZING - I want the recipe! We also got a bowl of lentil soup to start, on the house. I love when places do that! Honestly - can’t say enough good things about this place! Oh - their TOUM (garlic sauce), was VERY garlicky - I’m fine with that, others may not like it. But get over it - it’s good for you 🤣

More than 5 stars!! The complimentary lentil soup tasted soooo delicious. All the dishes we ordered here are great, the meat (beef/lamb) are juicy, and the taste is great. When you think you're already full and satisfied, the baklava dessert will once again amaze you! Great service here, and you can tell that they really care for their food and customers. Don't miss this restaurant !!

Food was good and tasted fresh. But lacks some spices that traditional Lebanese food has but a solid 8/10 Chicken Sharwama.

Really good food and great portions. They give you a free soup, which is great, the chicken was well seasoned. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely will be coming back here for lunch.

The portions are enormous. The barley and rice soup was hearty. The chicken shawarma plate easily feeds two people with a lovely salad and pilaf. The sides of garlic and tzatziki garnished the plate nicely (the garlic has some kick!). The baklava is the perfect sweet treat at the end.

The mother & daughter team were warm, welcome, and helpful (especially as we were first time visitors)!

Excellent Mediterranean place. Huge portions and great food. Also owner and staff are very nice! Don’t forget to try the Baklava, we even ordered one extra box to go.

The most hospitable place on earth, the server was very generous with his kind words and food. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious done the right Lebanese way. I have never tasted Hummus that made me feel so close to my 2nd home (Lebanon). The food is to die for and there is a lot to choose from the menu.

Delicious Sawarma Chicken and we also shared the Baba Ghanouj, both were freshly made and so tasty. Service was wonderful and friendly.

Love Wally's. I've previously been to the location off Blue Oaks/Sunset, and loved it. This location has the same quality, consistency and taste. It's near by SC so I will be stopping by again when I have time before class. The gyro wrap is my go to, but the chicken liver plate hits hard when you need a hardy meal. So good.

We originally just wanted to go to try the Turkish coffee which was amazing, the perfect amount of flavor and just the right sized portion. Baba ghanouj with pita is a must have!! I could have ate it all by myself and been more than happy! They give you a soup with every order l, I didn’t personally try it but I thought that was a nice touch! I can’t wait to go back and try more

One of my favorite dishes at Wally's Cafe is their lentil soup. It's the perfect comfort food on a chilly day, and it's packed with flavor and healthy ingredients.

And of course, I can't forget to mention the falafels and baklava. They are absolutely divine! The falafels are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the baklava is just the right amount of sweet.

First time here. The food is great. Highly recommend the gyro wrap. My son didn’t love the beef schawarma wrap and said he would get the gyro wrap next time. My other son loved the kids chicken and rice bowl. My wife has the chicken schawarma plate and very much enjoyed it. It was large enough for two. The complimentary baklava after the meal was a hit as well. Actually it was probably the best baklava I’ve ever had. Most balklava I’ve had is saturated with honey. This was much lighter and more balanced. Overall very good.

Started off with complimentary lentil soup. Very delicious. My kids devoured it. Then, the beef shawarmas are delicious. My kiddo also enjoyed it, and it was his first time trying it. Lastly, the warm dessert at the end was so good that I need the recipe. And my kids got complimentary ice cream. 5 star. I would recommend it.

Great food! So happy to find chicken liver on the menu, it was delicious. Some of the best falafel we've ever had, and the baklava was to die for.

FAmazing food from A to Z! Loved every app and entree (and the family shared a lot!). The staff was fantastic and helped us navigate the menu. My wife and her family is Lebanese and they all gave it two thumbs up.

The Pomegranate Chicken is Thunder, lightning and one of the best things to tickle my taste buds!

If I could rate Wally’s higher I totally would. I love every thing about this little locally owned restaurant: quality and creativity of the food (so fresh and delicious), variety of food on the menu (including vegetarian options), prices are reasonable and the fact that they are a local and super friendly outfit. I am now living in Texas and even in the Houston area I don’t get this level of Mediterranean deliciousness. I was in town and ordered the Pomegranate chicken with a delicious and super fresh side salad dressed lightly with a vinaigrette, the lentil soup, and as always falafel. They give you these beautiful little baklava as dessert and they are sooooo buttery and sweet! The chicken is tender and fresh and perfectly seasoned. The pomegranate syrup is divine. Rice was fluffy and delicious as well, the perfect side. I ate for three weeks in restaurants all over the nation in August and I can tell you this was my favorite meal. I can’t wait to come back and see them again soon! (They have two locations that I know of in the Rocklin/Lincoln area)

This place is simply amazing, a very good food (especially the lamb), very nice staff and the winner is this delicious desert that made my day!

Wally’s Cafe serves an outstanding lamb kebab plate along with many other dishes. The customer service is top-notch, and the owner's personal touch made the experience even more special. Highly recommend!
