Food Lion

Great experience. There is a mature gentleman at this location that has an arm disability and he is amazing!!! He is older and has one arm and pushes a line of buggies into the store better than the young guys do!!! He approached me at my car and helped me load up my groceries! He is fantastic and so polite. Then I watched him take a trail of buggies into the store like it was nothing. I didn’t get his name but I got a pic of him with the buggies. He needs to recognized for his amazing customer service!!! Way to go!

Very clean and well stocked. Excellent customer service. Great produce and deli departments.

Prefer over Walmart.. I personally enjoy the smaller scale shopping experience.

You have to be aware that many of the young people who work in grocery stores are not very conversant in food preparation and storage consequently when you ask for Sure-Jell you may be sent to ladies hair products instead o preserving and canning. The young people at food Lion seem to really try to make you happy and have what you need.

Today I stopped at Food lion in Maple Ave. I went to purchase a quick meal..( Spaghetti meal).. I saw the 12 items express line only had one person that was finishing up. I knew I had a little over 12 items. I started to place my item on the belt and said to this beautiful black women, is it ok that I have a few more? She smiled and said you are ok. She said I just need your ID. Which I loved because I'm Over 50. Her tone and smile was so friendly.. that I wanted to bless someone at that particular time. The guy behind me, waiting patiently, only had a wine opener. I said "ring that up". It was small but her smile made me pass a blessing on. A "SMILE" goes a long way.

Store always smells clean, staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive. The store was well organized. I found everything I needed with no problem. I would highly recommend this location for all shopping needs.

The customer service manager Melinda is the best one around ❤ the girls are nice at checkout and the manager is awesome! Store is ALWAYS clean!!! There is a young man there named Tyson he is the most helpful and sweet young man I have ever met!!! They make shopping there wonderful!!!! Both Melinda and Tyson are a asset to food lion and if they ever leave lots of people will shop elsewhere they make this store!!!!

It was clean and had minimal traffic. Nonetheless, making it feel safe to do shopping in the very early morning hours during this scary time. I attended during opening hours this morning and the staff was exceptional in their service and support. The very best in the chain of stores. The very best management in all of the chain.

Stopped to pick up a few things. Nice store and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Nice place. Friendly folks. Good customer service. Bathrooms in the very back of the place. Not great for a quick road trip stop if you don't like walking. Otherwise great.

This is my favorite place to go for quick food needs. Staff is always super friendly, it's always stocked, check out is usually quick, carts are easily available.

Love shopping at this neighborhood Food Lion. People are great, store is clean, always well staffed, and the food is in stock and fresh.

All over great store and great customer service front end manager is friendly and helpful and goes out of her way to help you find what ever you need.

Everyone is always so willing to help me find what I need when I can’t. Folks are friendly the produce looks nice and cared for & the cashiers are very attentive and ready to help. Great experience here.

This happens to be my favorite Food lion! Staff always speaks, willing to help and always seems to be in a pleasant mood. This definitely helps contribute to the enjoyable atmosphere, I feel when I'm shopping there. Keep it up!

They have some great and gracious workers here. One in specific. I cannot remember her name but this particular store also held my money order when I walked away without getting it after I paid $500 for it. I picked it up 3 days later and the store manager remembered my face and promptly retrieved it from their vault. That was very integral of her! She still works there and this event happened about 3yrs ago. That's why its MY most visited FOOD LION...

This food lion is kept up very nicely and more times then not has the item you need. Seems like alot of stores are having trouble keeping things stocked, but this one does not

Had I done this years ago, it would've been a different story, but so glad to see this store's turn around. The people working there act like they want to be there and make a pleasure to shop there!

The store is run by a good team period.
Anybody who says otherwise is a short order customer. If you have needs either an associate or management will hwlp quickly .
This is a fact ....anyone who says otherwise is weak and has problems BEFORE they walked into the store. This said by a person who leaves their problems at home.

Very convenient. They are friendly and are willing to wait on you. They have the same as everyone on not being able to get certain items but they have more than other places
