Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

This cafe Rio is in a fantastic location in Reston right on Elden street. Let me start by saying that the restroom is very clean, which to me makes all the difference. The food pleasing and fulfilling. Great customer service that took note on my kids allergies and cooked his quesadilla carefully do as to not kill him. The tortilla soup was as usual exquisite and just perfectly consumed while watching the rain pour down outside. The place is modern, clean and quiet. Personally, I would select a different music channel but it wasn't obnoxious.

This review is specifically for Max who shall receive 5 stars for his service; his customer service stood out as superior amongst his peers and he also was the employee who prepared my food. The ambiance inside in nice, it was quiet when I came in as it was near their closing time. Thank you Max for your patience and kindness towards me as it was my first time in Cafe Rio and I really wanted to try the birria tacos they had at the time and it was delicious !! High quality fresh ingredients make for great food. The usual tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tostadas and enchiladas done well. Fresh tortillas made in front of you for your order. Beef, sweet pork barbacoa, and chicken with your choice of adders. They also have a few more interesting drinks besides thecysual sodas. Great staff too. They're doing it right.

Love this place! I've been hearing about this place for so long but the one closest to my home closed down. I got excited when I heard there was a new opening in Herndon, Va. The customer service is great and the food is also. I will be a repeat customer for years to come. All if the entrees are filling and the employees dont mind filling up your bowl or burrito. I suggest trying the nachos, they are excellent!

Very impressed with the service, quality and location so far! The enchiladas and burritos were great. A much better "fast food" option than the predecessor in this building.

The management(or ownership) here is amazing. They truly care about their customers. I happened to be waiting for a to go order, and a group of management happened to be having a meeting in the restaurant at the same time. Even though they were in the middle of the meeting(and I said nothing about my wait), a man from that meeting noticed I had been waiting, got up and went to check on my order. I can’t tell you what that means to a service industry person who was only antsy because they needed to be at work. Thank you for your true care and attention to your customers. I am a customer for life because of this experience.

Food was great. There was a problem with the register which held me up and I got a free tres leches dessert. Very friendly and accommodating.

A big fan. I used to go to the Chantilly location before this one opened. I always get the salad! Very unique taste and both homemade dressings are amazing! The staff is very attentive and the manager that's always on duty is very customer service oriented and always helps us right away. There fresh homemade drinks are also really good, especially the horchata.

We love this place. Food is always fresh, hot, and excellent. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Elvis. He always goes above and beyond!! Thank you!

This is one of my go-tos! Far superior to chipotle, the food is fresh, the tortillas are BOMB. I also love this spot so much, because of the friendly and caring service- shout out to Elvis and Noemi! I always feel so welcome here and I often walk in and they already know my order.

I haven't been to a cafe Rio in nearly ten years. This was a great experience. Way better than I expected! They even gave me extra salsa without me asking!

I always go to the manassas location since it is closer to me but I was in the area and stopped at this one. This location blew me away. Food was great and they gave great portions. All of the staff here were also amazing.
