Beef Jerky Experience

You want to stop by here. The selection is huge. The staff is friendly. The taste is par for the course. In this review I'm going to clear up some doubts for you from other reviews and let you know exactly why I think you should visit.

First off let's talk about the staff. You probably read that they "just stare at you till you leave". Well, yeah... it's a retail location. It's a small shop and they are attentive to their customers. I was greeted when I walked in and then I went around browsing. When I had questions I walked up to the counter and asked and received answers. They can also point you in the right direction for faster locating exactly what you want to purchase. So, I give the staff and "owner" 5 stars.

Next, selection and taste and free samples.
Yes you heard correct, FREE SAMPLES. Ask for them and try out some jerky before you buy. That will help get you started down the line of their huge selection. My personal taste was the prime rib and reaper. A word of note on their "hottest" jerky. They are not going to send you running to a gallon of milk crying if you can handle hot peppers - but if you dislike anything spicy, ask the staff for other selections and they will gladly assist you! I suggest the prime rib as one. But there are dozens to choose from so I will be returning and selecting other varieties on my next trip. Again, 5 stars for selection and the assistance and tasting of free samples.
No vegetarian options though they did have a cool tee shirt for PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals).

Next, location, handicap assistance and public restrooms.
The location is perfect at Pier Park. It is handicapped accessible with a sidewalk in front and if you require assistance in any form, the staff is willing to go the extra step to insure you have an enjoyable visit.
There are no public restrooms inside the store but if you are searching for one they will gladly point you in the correct direction to facilities. It's not far from their location. There are also several restaurants very close that have facilities if you are wishing to dine in.

Business times vary by season, I tried to get some notes on this and was told the park actually dictates times due to seasons. If your traveling and are unsure, try calling to confirm opening and closing times before you go. I went around lunch and they was open so I had no issues but wanted to clarify this for my review as best I could.

The website was also mentioned in another review. As I visited the store I cannot say to an experience with it but I did browse their dot com to see what I thought. I did view it on my laptop and was able to see immediately the products menu as well as a location finder. To order online you will need to select the store nearest you - and at the time of this review, free shipping on orders of $100 or more. I felt it was easy enough to find the Panama City Beach location and add a selection to my cart. I noticed a login link but I'm not ordering or creating a profile as this information is intended only for this review.

To close out I will mention size and price. I feel it's decently priced considering the current prices of meats. But please keep in mind that all jerky cost a bit more than a bland piece of meat. That being said, I would recommend you visit the free samples and maybe buy large packs to something you know you like and get smaller snack size packs to try out other flavors. They also carry some interesting other non-jerky items. I'll leave you to wonder what...

They have a variety of beef turkey even crawfish jerky. They will let you try most of them.

I love beef jerky. This is my favorite place to buy it. There is also one in Gatlinburg I go to.

Husband was in heaven here. The location is fantastic of course. We were in the area because we love Pier Park and the dog friendly beach right across the street. There are so many options not only when it comes to the kinds of meat but also the different flavors. There are traditional and really exotic combinations. The prices are great as well. Wish there would have been more options to sample but it was busy so they may have ran out. The best part was they had beef jerky for dogs! I'm assuming it had minimal flavor and less sodium. Our dog is obsessed with jerky and loved this because of course we had to get it. Thanks Beef Jerky Outlet!

Awesome beef jerky.. And a really hot chick that works there.. But what ever you do.. Do not ask for there hottest beef jerky...keep in mind that I'm a manly man.. I myself asked for there hottest batch of jerky.. And I was taken to the back corner of the store and shown what's called the reaper.. Laugh with my friend. I said give me that bag.. It can be that bad.. I bought it and walking down the pier. I ate about half a bag.. Granted it is hot.. But wasn't as bad as I thought.. But that was only phase one... Shortly after phase two starting coming in I was swimming out on a sand bar when suddenly I felt a warming feeling from inside. Kinda like when grandmas hugs you on thanksgiving.. But as time went by it hot hotter and hotter.. Untill my gut felt like a pressure cooker.. Two hours after I ate this nuclear reactive beef jerky.. I was riding down front beach.. And all of a sudden phase three kicks in... My insides feel like there melting.. My gut hurts and I told my friend to pull in McDonald because I couldn't hold it no more.. I had been crop dusting him for miles.. Currently I'm in the bathroom at McDonald and my ass feel like a fire breathing Dragon.. It hurts so bad that I'm making loud noises... And if i stay here much longer I'm afraid the toilet is gonna melt from my acid driven farts .... Plz be a normal person a don't pick this reaper beef jerky.. This isn't made for human consumption.. If i don't die from this.. Ill probably come back and buy the bigger bag of it tho.. Also the store was really clean.. Thanks for reading my review

This place has tons of flavors of jerky! If you are in PCB and love jerky, this is a must.
