The atmosphere is very welcoming, the display of the wines and other liquor is nicely put together, it’s classy. This is NOT a storage for cases of booze. What an amazing and welcome addition to Breckenridge!

I will admit that I had a difficult time finding the place at first (I didn't look at the photo that Google shows for the front, which would have cleared it up). The trick is that it is in the southern of the two Avalanche apartment buildings, roughly in the middle of the complex, on the street side.

Once I got inside, I was really impressed! It is a small shop with a great, well-curated selection of wines that is guaranteed to have something for everyone. The prices are quite reasonable too...I picked up 4 bottles and was pleasantly surprised! They also have a cool selection of glassware to go with your wine.

And then you go into the back room. Here you have a selection of charcuterie along with good to high-end liquors. There are wines chilling, olives for your martinis or snacks, and just a general assortment of really nice treats.

I am really looking forward to their planned wine tastings. This is a great, local wine store and the owner is very knowledgeable. I will be back many, many times for sure!

Lovely store with a really nice selection of wine, liquor, shooters, crackers and glassware. Everything from high end wines to Coors. Perfect for pre or post ski. Staff is awesome and super helpful

Avalanche is hands down the best liquor store in Breckenridge! Incredible selection of wine and spirits. Kate, Ricardo, and Mo are so knowledgeable and welcoming. Don’t miss this place.

Stopped in to stock up on libations for the week out here in Breckenridge. They have a great wine selection with liquor and beer as well. The store was stocked with all my favorites and at much better prices than others around. Staff was excellent! I will be back!
