Walgreens Pharmacy

Gerard is such a nice pharmacist, he is always pleasant and works hard by himself a lot of the time. Always willing to help and tries to work quickly to complete orders. I have never gone to pick up an order and had a bad experience when he was there. Just make sure you wait for the text confirming your order is ready for pickup before heading over.

I had a prescription I had been fighting with CVS for 6 weeks about. They were refusing to apply my discount card, always telling me it was hard to get, tell me I needed authorization when I didn't, all because it was a "difficult medication to get". Finally my insurance company recommended Walgreens and gave me the information to transfer the script. I walked in on Saturday (2/24/24) afternoon and met with Hussein (the pharmacist in charge) who addressed me personally right away. Not even a wait! I am used to waiting over 40 minutes at CVS. He wasn't sure he'd be able to get the medication so he called a friend at a different CVS personally to see if he could locate the medication. They did not have it in stock but she assured him the ordering process was quick and not the terrible process my old pharmacist was making it out to be. Hussein took my information, processed the order and told me he would handle it personally. Sure enough, 1:30PM today, less than 48 hours later, not only was my prescription approved, it was filled and the discount card applied costing me $25!! I wanted to cry. I was paying $40-$150 all because CVS didn't want to do their job and Hussein went above and beyond to not only do his job but be an amazing human and I am SO THANKFUL!

I don't think I have ever met someone like Gerard. He was absolutely amazing. He works in the pharmacy. He is so sweet and caring. He was extremely helpful. And my shots were painless. Definitely will come back.

Gerard the pharmacist is an amazing and helpful guy it’s a shame every time I come in he is on his own. The store needs staff to help him out because he is a very dedicated pharmacist.

This store does an excellent job, pharmacists are so helpful and knowledgeable, and Marsha is just such a fabulous pharmacy tech. They should all get a raise, they work very hard. Sandy G

I love going to Walgreens! Everytime you go there you see the same things almost all the time, though you're so tempted to look again! It's a nice experience anytime you go there, since it is usually pretty just relaxing to go there. The workers are always nice and the store is so clean! Also, I do recommend getting your vaccination if you still need it at Walgreens. They're really gentle and patient, from what I've seen at least! <3

I can't understand the reason for the poor reviews lately...I feel quite the opposite >> very friendly staff, who are informative & eager to help every customer who comes in, like myself...especially those same staff members who served the Rite-Aid pharmacy previously. I appreciate members like pharmacists Lana C. & Doug M., and Marsha the clerk...keep up the good work!

This Walgreens had what I needed for my wife thank god🙏🏾. Plus I didn't have to go in store. Curbside it was and was on point💪🏾. Thank you.

The pharmacy is excellent and I am very critical of customer service. Pharmacy is friendly, I never have a problem with my prescriptions or refills. The rest of the store however, needs a complete turnover in staff. I've watched the staff ignore customers and I've watched them treat customers like they are in the way. The only reason why I go there is the pharmacy. When I do need to get something from the main store I dread going to the register. Somehow I'm always made to feel like I'm bothering them.

The pharmacist Gerard is absolutely amazing. He is extremely helpful.
My biggest issue is that he is often left understaffed or alone, especially during busy times, such as the weekend. It's unfair to him as well as the customers. Walgreens needs to address this and provide more staff for the pharmacy. The pharmacy can not run on one person alone.

Photo center. Printed out an 11x14" print. It had a white border. I asked, is this 11x14? He asked do I want the border trimmed? I said I don't know, just want it to fit in an 11x14 frame. I asked again, is it 11x14, and he said yes. It was 11 1/4 x 14 1/4. He meant the part with the ink on it. Apparently wallgreens wants customers to trim their own prints. Isn't that, um, their job? The manager was very bad at communication.
