Mainstreet Market is my go to place when I can eat everything I see but am on a budget. I Am in absolute love with their Chef Salad & the most amazing Ranch dressing which is homemade. We also get the Famous Mushroom swiss burger, The Hawaiian Burger or the White Chedder BBQ Burger. All are absolutely Delicious!!!! They have Amazing Hamburger Patties in the burgers, Huge and juicy. Be sure to grab napkins because they get messy tryna fit it in your mouth! Took my Family from Hawaii and they Loved it too! They also have an assortment of pies, cakes and other sweets for dessert ot a snack. Yummy yummy yummy!

By far the best burger in the county, and one of the best I've had anywhere. Good fries, too. Just basing my review off of the burger and fries but everything else looks and sounds good also (plus some items change daily). I plan on trying something different with each visit. It's nice to have a place serving food like this in the middle of nowhere...plus it's five minutes down the road from the best brew in Ohio (Hoof Hearted). Update: Smoked Pastrami Reuben is delicious also.

Some of the best feel good food I've ever had. If you're able to get there for breakfast you absolutely will not regret it. All around a comfy small town vibe with very friendly service!

As an employee as well as being family, I have had the great pleasure of eating the Cook's food for over ten years and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal.

The Smoked Pastrami Reubens are to die for
Our Ribs are large, tender, and smoked daily
And if we have soup or chili it is always delicious

Drove by on 229 and saw the smoker outside and promised myself I'd stop on the way back. I did and couldn't be happier. Friendly staff, great food (had the pulled pork burger, fried bologna, and the pulled pork sandwich all with house-made chips), and convenient location. I struck up a conversation with another patron who also just happened to stop in for exactly the same reason (saw the smoker). I'll be back!

YOU NEED TO EAT HERE!!! Absolutely amazing courses, and in such a rare form at that. This is real food, made right, with a perfect flavor profile that is unnatainable anywhere else. Price point is very affordable with it being rare to see more than $8 on any of their specialty seasonal menus, which change periodically. Always something new, something great, this is a hidden gem sitting subtly in the heart of Marengo. If you haven’t gone already, go get some food here now, you WILL be back for more!

"Mom, you have to give them 5 stars!" - my 9 year old. We are in town for SCTP Nationals and were looking for something close and not fast food, and Main Street on Walnut Cafe did not disappoint!!! Quality ingredients you could tell weren't mass produced. We will be back next year for sure!!!

Amazing food for lunch or dinner... or in between snacks. Home smoked meats done on the premises... Daily specials based on what's on the BIG GIANT smoking grill. All I can say is "yum" and "more please'. The only way it could be better if Hoof Hearted Brewery down the country road would put a keg in here. I may never leave, or gain 200 pounds

Excellent food, great atmosphere and fantastic staff! I highly recommend you try their pie its fresh made daily! I would also like to say it's a wonderful addition to our small town, Marengo.

Fresh locally grown, raised and produced food. The pastrami is delicious. Rustic, but very clean. Very friendly. Try the cold brew from their bottled selection.

IT'S THE REAL DEAL ! ! in Marengo ?! . . these folks are hand crafting some amazing stuff. The Black n Blu burger with fresh cut fries was perfect . . . . as was the grilled ham and cheese with apricot jam with home made potato chips . . . all really well priced, prepared, presented, and served. Took home ribs, pastrami, pimento cheese spread, and slaw . . all outstanding quality. The smoked pastrami is world class, the bbq ribs as well . . . very clean, down home, nothing fancy, laid back, great music, and EXCELLENT FOOD. Wish I lived a lot closer. You might want to go get some !

Awesome food, Loved the wings, Fantastic approachable Customer service, love the wings, deli with the items I want, and , did I mention, I Love the Wings. Whenever your passing through Marengo, stop on by. Plus, I believe that they might deliver as well.
Stop in for some Wings! Dan and Avanza are the owners. Dan's the Man! And Avanza will make you hungry from telling you what's on the menu as the aroma from the food ebb from the kitchen.

We stopped in while antiquing across the street and so glad we did. Our sandwiches were amazing and the staff was super friendly! We will definitely visit again.

The food here is to die for. All hand made and fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Hawaiian burger. It's not always available, but when it's one of the specials I jump at the chance. Seriously....eat here!
