They sponsor home-made baked goodies. Carrotcake, absolutely delicious 😋. "No bake chocolate cookies" just like Grandma use to make. Definitely a good place to go back to eat at and strengthen your friendship bond. Kid-friendly. Management is great people. Welcoming.

Went here after going to the Groovy Plants Ranch and glad I did! Very friendly staff and great food. Well priced and will definitely be going there every time I am in the area.

Saw a sign which included the words “pancake” and “drive thru” so I slowed down and headed in. The menus hits every breakfast / brunch / lunch need you could have. Kind staff and the breakfast sandwich I ordered was perfect!

I was stopping through the area, saw the place stopped in and I’m glad I did, ordered food to go after I ate, the staff is so nice and friendly with everyone who walks it, service was amazing, she was so nice and honest, very attentive, it was nice to relax and enjoy my meal and not have to ask for things, she was able to anticipate my needs without asking it was great, definitely a shining example of how your experience should be when dining, if I am in the area again I will definitely come back! It truly was refreshing to have the experience.

Cute little diner. Lots of options but was out of a lot of items due to a truck delivery not showing up. However I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy and a bagel egg sandwich with bacon and hash brown. It was delicious! The bagel was a perfect balance of soft and crispy. The egg was perfectly runny but not too runny and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The sausage gravy was just like my grandma's. The cook and waitress were so nice and engaging, Wanting to make sure we were happy. Oh and my bill was $11. What a great value. I left happy and with a full belly.

We stayed at the local KOA and made sure to stop for breakfast on our way back home. This little place is well worth your patronage and does not disappoint! I'd be a regular customer if I were a local and the owner is super friendly as well as the servers!

It was a wonderful country restaurant. Their gumbo was fabulous and you have to get the gut buster breakfast. I highly recommend it. If I lived in the area it would be a regular eating place

My first visit to the restaurant. I ordered pancakes, and both were the size of a dinner plate. The service was great and food.

Absolutely love this place super friendly staff, never had a complaint about food has always been cooked just right. I go in there about anywhere between 1 to 5 times a week for lunch depending on where I am and I can truly say I have never been disappointed in route 229. I hope they stick around for a long time !

What a great little family owned spot to get a bite to eat driving through town!

The chili is homemade and delicious! I had the Marengo cheesesteak on corn tortillas. It was tasty for sure! Make sure you check out Bonnie’s baked goods that they sell there. The no bake cookies tasted like home

Gluten free accommodations can be made such as a corn based batter the chef can coat his chicken wings in. I’m putting that on my list for next time!!

I wouldn’t call this place fancy in any way but the service was exceptional and the food great. Sometimes that is all you need.

Family-owned, friendly staff, delicious food and they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's something on the menu for everyone, some items are free of allergens, for those with food allergies. Take-out available, dine-in service is quick for those who need to get in and out. They're very involved in their community, and I've always had a positive experience from this local small business!

My bestfriend and I went in for lunch and the food was delicious. I overheard one of the employees say it's her daughters birthday and I said Awww, we share a birthday. So, Derek, the owner heard it and came out to our table and offered me a piece of cake for my birthday. The Peanut Butter cake is to die for, so here comes Derek and his employees with a piece of cake with candles on it and they sang to me!! It was so sweet and unexpected. The staff is super friendly and they treat everyone like family!!

Quaint lil diner. Eggs were perfect, as was the cornbeef hash! Delightful waitress! 😊 We will venture back to try the 🍔 burgers.

Staff was great. Place was busy which naturally added to the wait time for the food. Food was hot and delicious. Definitely going to be a repeat customer.
