Monkey Shack

I went into this store because it was close to our room and Live monkey. I read the reviews after going back to my room. Somehow I keep ending up at this store about daily for a week. I must say the bird's cages were cleaned every day. They were always feeding them as well. Everyone was very sweet. The owners even offered to make my shirt because they didn't have my size. I actually even got 🍨. Plus a tattoo and some turtles along with a bunch of other stuff. This is a must go to store. They have awesome prices and rescue pets!They girls working were really sweet!!!

This place is cool and different than every other surf shop/ novelty shop in Panama City Beach! Cool live animals! One of the birds was very chivalrous! You can get your ears pierced here or get other piercings and tattoos next door. If you're nostalgic about old PCB, go here! Great shirts and shorts and fun jewelry!

They have a very nice selection of t-shirts and nick nacks. I would definitely recommend!!

We went to see the Monkey, I remembered this place from past vacations and wanted to share the experience with my kiddo. They had talking birds as well. The only big complaint I have is at the end we were leaving and a gentleman in an electric wheelchair was attempting to go into the business. My husband held the door for him but the gentleman couldn't get his wheelchair up the makeshift ramp they had. Please look at making your store more accessible!!

Prices are average for the area, but they have some fun sale items scattered through this location.

I visit this place every time I am in PCB. The owners are so friendly! Staff is helpfull. I love the animals in there. The last time I was there I learned of the passing of the beloved monkey. ❤

The monkey is the cutest little thing ever. One of the birds was dancing to the music 🤣

No monkeys but they have cool souvenirs. And birds.

It was a pretty nice visit. This spot had affordable souvenirs and attire. The spider monkey was interesting and entertaining as well. It was clean and tidy. There was a great amount of variety to choose from. The staff was inviting and polite as well.

We stopped by this shop to actually go next door ( Monkey licks ice cream) but had to go in here. Such a great hidden gem. Stuffed animals, live animals, t-shirts and just a unique place. Ill be a returning customer. Unfortunately I did t get any pictures....

Went to see the little monkey. He had to have a surgery and had complications so the little monkey didnt make it out of surgery. They have the cage for like a memorial. So sad 😞

Very fun place. Great service. The owner and employees are very nice. They have a real monkey and 5 birds. ( Gracie is so sweet ) and sugar gliders and turtles. I bought sweat pants that were so soft and comfortable. They have a great variety of clothes to choose from and can customize clothes to your liking.

Love the deal they have on the shirts 3 for $10 and $3.99 there after. Got our family of 4 shirts totaling $15. We went to the $5 Beach store where everything is NOT $5 and they wanted $5.99 per shirt but you have to buy 3 or more for them to honor that price. This place is great! We will be back next vacation.

Best place on the trip real live monkey and live birds

I liked the shirts they had. Our condo was right across the street. We bought a shirt and got it back and realized it had a stain and a hole. I took it back and they were happy to swap it out. They were so nice. A lot of places like this wouldn’t do that.

What an AWESOME souvenir shop! Had tons of items, some cool and some cheesy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to stop at while in Panama City Beach! Oh and they have a live monkey too during the weekdays.

I try to go down at least twice a year,and one of my first stops is the Monkey Shack, this place is clean well stocked,and I just love how the owner made all this about his monkey! Definitely is the main attraction,this is a must see if you get there, I'm sure you will find something you need here, and please don't forget to donate to the monkey!

I've visited here a lot and I absolutely love it. The owners are super friendly and helpful, they also have a large selection and I like how the store is set up. As an animal lover myself, I understand where some people are coming from with their treatment, but I've heard a lot about their care for their main animal, Samba. They honestly treat them like their own child, which it basically is. Give it a chance, they are honestly one of the best shops around here.
