Freel Perk Cafe

Great restaurant on a snowy day. Stopped by to grab something warm to drink for my drive through Tahoe. Picked their dirty chai latte and a raspberry tart in which both tasted great. The inside has a nice cozy ambiance and some cool decorations.

Nice place, we were well taken care of. We ordered the vegetarian burrito and the vegan sandwich.

They have vegan cheese and beyond meat so it would be nice if there was a sandwich and a burrito that was completely vegan on the menu. The only vegan option at the moment is the vegetable sandwich (in the photo) which is tasty but not enough for those who are hungry.

My suggestion is keep the vegetable sandwich on the menu but add some vegan options using cheese and vegan meat

11/10. I got the veggie sunrise bowl but subbed out the eggs for black beans. My partner got the classic and said the hash browns were “so good!” We each got a coffee as well, an Americano and cappuccino, both were good. The girl and two guys behind out the counter were super friendly and professional, providing great service. We sat outside on the patio with our dog. Very relaxing atmosphere!

Love this place, every time we come by here we stop in for coffee. Super friendly people. Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Definitely a destination along our journey.

Awesome Tahoe vibe! Tahoe able smoothie tasted like a PBJ Banana sandwich. Azmi was fantastic in serving us!

Nice casual cafe with a mexican restaurant next door. Coffee is good, good is excellent at standard (high) Tahoe prices. Still, a cozy place to hang out with great outdoor seating.

On vacation we were passing through and randomly chose to stop for breakfast. The salmon bagel was amazing. My friend got the oatmeal and she was happy with it. I also got the chocolate PB protein smoothie which hit the spot as well. The staff was extremely outgoing and friendly. Very refreshing to come across such a gem. It’s been a couple days since we’ve had a good breakfast. I highly recommend.

Great little coffee shop stop to hit on the way to or the way home from Lake Tahoe. There's also a beautiful patio with a big fire pit if you have time to hang out a bit.

Amazing quality food for the price. Coffee is around $6 and food is around $15.

If you're an early riser looking for a hot drink or good food before heading out on a hike then you've picked the right spot. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful and there were a bunch of local crafts for those looking for a nice souvenir. Stop by for a quick drink or bring a good book and stay awhile.

Deliscious Mexican breakfast and smoothies just outside of South Lake Tahoe. Great stop if you’re heading back from Echo Lake. The Chili Relleño Omelet was outstanding.

We stop here sometimes on the way home from skiing. Super cute inside (it's attached to the Mexican food restaurant behind it). Good selection of coffee drinks and breakfast/lunch food. Think they have mimosas too?

Lovely place, nice atmosphere and really great people working here as everyone stated . Had a yummy Matcha - a rare find in coffee spots and fresh smoothly . Healthy place with delicious baked goodies and sandwiches . Real expresso.
Charming decor and inviting to simply sit and chill enjoying healthy treats! Highly recommend and definitely will come back.

I had the chilequiles , and the chips and pico de gallo were freshly made. The sauce was spicy, a solid Californian take on the dish, and generously portioned. The dog friendly patio was comfortable and had umbrellas for shade. I would visit again.

Excellent! Stopped in as a party of 12 after snow shoeing. We received a warm welcome from the owner and were promptly served our drink orders. We also ordered nachos and calamari ( which were also excellent) from the mexican restaurant attached. Great atmosphere with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and a big table to share a meal. Highly recommend!

Great coffee, best you'll find in the Tahoe area. Lounge a d outdoor seating is very relaxed and the staff from the coffee shop and restaurant are very polite!

Had a stop here while heading to Lake Tahoe. Loved the place! Breakfast burrito was good and filling!

Great smoothies. Im went for Tahoe blue bliss and sierra sea monster. Both were amazing

Really friendly staff, seating was a little tight with lots of customers in there though. But it still had a cozy feeling regardless. The Freel Good Smoothie was really refreshing!
