Jittery Joe's Coffee

Stopped by for a Mocha Latte after eating at Fancy Q the other day. This nice place is connected to a bookstore which is nice. The Server seemed to also be the owner from what I could tell. The shop was very clean, there were many seats and a couch in the back of the store. There was a small collection of fresh baked goods, and the mocha latte was fantastic!

Stopped by while having my morning adventure, and got a dirty oat chai with raspberry. It was light and spicy, the raspberry gave it almost an amaretto vibe; it was excellent. The vibes in the village were immaculate that time of morning, and they didn't even mind while I jammed outside on their patio! I will definitely be returning.

Great coffee and bagel. Atmosphere is calming. Shop is very, VERY clean. Attention to detail is duly noted.

the bookstore attachment is adorable and has an amazing selection. the coffee is pretty good, but my favorite is the matcha latte. the best way to order is with no sweetener (jit joes is one of the only places that the sugar isn’t pre-mixed with the matcha) and with almond milk!! also this jit joes has its own special blend with righton books which is pretty good!!

Quaint, unique neighborhood coffee shop with attached bookstore (or vice versa). The bookstore looked like it had a broad spectrum of genres and titles but wasn't open yet when we visited. Our group ordered a variety of coffee drinks, smoothies, and pastries! Each person thoroughly enjoyed their ordered items. The young lady barista (sorry, forgot her name) was also very helpful and had an especially streamlined flow while preparing the beverages!
Excellent experience and better than another nearby cafe! Plan to visit again tomorrow!

First time here for wife and I after just moving here. Awesome coffee shop. Cappuccino and coffee excellent. Alice was super nice to us with selection and conversation. Nice indoor/outdoor seating. Glad to have Jittery Joe’s here. Thank you!

Always a must-stop whenever I’m in St. Simons — the baristas always go above and beyond, and we always make new memories each time we’re in the store. If you ever want a drink that tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, go for the iced vanilla chai latte with oat milk!

Great shop and great coffee. The barista did a perfect job with coffees! Loved the pastries! They were super busy, but it was the weekend of the fourth. The owner and the employees were all working hard to make sure customers were taken care of. Also loved being able to walk right into the bookstore and browse their excellent selection of books and gifts.

The barista was friendly and the service was quick. This coffee shop is attached to a small bookstore which is also very nice.

The coffee was really good and tasted fresh. They served a variety of coffee types from lattes to brewed hot coffee. You can buy small bags of coffee to brew at home as well. Overall a great little place to get coffee.

The weather was great. The cycling was great. Jittery Joes was awesome. After riding about 15 miles my spouse and I stopped in for some coffee and muffins. They had blueberry that were just perfect. I had a mocha that was just right. Even though they were busy, I got my order in a reasonable amount of time. We will certainly stop by again the next time we are at St. Simons. Thanks guys!

Great spot to enjoy our favorite Athens coffee. The staff is friendly and efficient. Our lattes were made perfectly. The bookstore next door is comfy and well-stocked with tons of great, well-displayed books.

Our first time trying Jittery Joe’s and we’ll be back next time we’re are at SSI! My daughter had an iced white chocolate latte and I had an iced caramel latte with coconut milk and both were perfect! The blueberry scone was great as well! The barista was very nice and quick service!

My previous experience with Jittery Joe’s was visiting family in Watkinsville, GA. I’ve been in that location many times. The coffee was always good and the pastries were awesome. I’ve driven home countless times on Highway 15 with a cup of coffee in the console!
Anyway, this shop on SSI continues the tradition with great coffee and pastries. The little square biscuits are good and the blueberry scone is impressive, too.
Oh, the staff is friendly and professional.

Excellent coffee, very smooth. The barista was very kind and helpful. Menu has some dairy-free and decaf options if you need them. Wonderful place to sit and relax.

Good coffee shop, descent seating area next to the bookstore. Wish they had more pastry selection but they do offer cookies and scones.

Service was super respectful. Everyone’s nice at this shop and the bookstore that’s connected. I lost my phone for a minute and they seemed really concerned lol.

It’s so nice to have Jittery Joe’s in Saint Simons. I love that they have a good variety of milk alternatives and the coffee is great! The staff was so nice and helpful! Love getting to grab a coffee and a new book 😊

Great to have an Athens favorite at the beach. Nice little bookstore next door also. Rode our bikes here from the condo.

I not only had the best cup of coffee to start my morning , I had the loveliest experience chatting with the young & most interesting barista pretty Alice!
This is definitely my new morning place!
