We really enjoyed lunch. We caught a glimpse of the spot on YouTube. The food was great tasting and affordable. The highlight was the grilled oysters. The wait was short. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming. Thank you for the birthday song from the 'entire staff' for the birthday boy! It was a pleasant surprise. We will be back.

My husband and I are visiting from Arizona, and we have been looking forward to some Southern food AND fresh seafood. My husband got the 3 Combo Platter with broiled fish (halibut), broiled shrimp, crab cakes; and I got the 2 Combo Platter with clam strips, fried shrimp. The food was absolutely fantastic and everything we were hoping for. With my husband and I being NOT from the South, our waitress, Yessi, gave us perfect explanations of certain Southern-specific food (for example, both dishes came with a side of Hush Puppies), and then recommended grits with cheese as a side choice - which was super delicious. Yessi was very friendly, professional and on top of things! The overall atmosphere was fun, entertaining and clean as well. Definitely recommend coming here, especially if you are not from the South and want a fantastic experience.

Went to Iguanas for my 61st birthday, did not expect the shrimp to be as good as the shrimp from the Gulf Coast. It was next to the best. The fish was also great. Can’t remember our server name, but he used to live in Montgomery Al. He was great and even brought the whole crew over and they singed happy birthday to me. Never had that happen in 61 years. I guess I am getting old. 😂. Great place to eat and the ice cream is free.

Our waitress Hannah was amazing and super patient with us! Appetizers were awesome, entrees were excellent, fish was great, steak was perfect, and amazing crab legs! Was a great first experience at Iguanas!

My wife and I had genuinely one of the most amazing dining experiences we have ever had in quite a long time. Customer service that went above and beyond and restaurant we have ever dined at in our decades of eating out all around the globe. We were absolutely starving and saw Iguanas was highly rated and we were craving seafood. We were happily greeted and seated but after that we sat anxiously waiting. Clearly they were swamped but it was a really long time trying to get someone’s attention. When a manager had realized the oversight everyone went ABOVE AND BEYOND to see we were happy. Truly I want to say thank you so so very much because not many places would even blink an eye nowadays to fix a mistake. In addition the seafood was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious and had to bring some home there was so much! The sides were particularly good when most restaurants overlook them and they are served to you looking sad and pathetic. NOT Iguanas! The rice and broccoli were amazing! Thank you again so so much for the incredible meal! We’ll be back!

So much bang for your buck! Food was 10/10 and it came out so fast too. The service was amazing as well and complimentary ice cream was a plus. I got the fried shrimp and fried clam strips and it was amazing. My bf got the shrimp po boy and that was also really good.

Excellent seafood at reasonable price. They give you free ice cream for dessert too. The service was fast. Food was good. Nice atmosphere. Dog friendly with outside seating.

From the hours host/ess, to the atmosphere, prices, to the amazing food, Iguanas Seafood is my favorite seafood restaurant ever! I love seafood and I would drive here, wait in line, and wait an hour for food. The fried clams, blackened scallops, tender, moist, flavorful crabcakes are wait worthy.
The entire family agreed to come back a second day in a row. They're open Christmas Day if you're in the area, go visit!! You won't regret it.
They offer complementary ice cream sundaes!!

We visited on our family vacation. The hostess let us know the wait would be 1 hour. We did not wait that long, was seated at an outside table was great with the temperature outside. Our food was timely, hot, and very good. Our waitress was friendly and the kids loves the free ice-cream. I will say the price was a bit higher than we expected but we had a good experience! I would recommend and eat at the restaurant again!

First our waiter named Tyler was the best waiter I've ever had. He was attentive an extremely pleasant. The coconut shrimp was great. The shrimp was large an you could tell they were fresh. The hush puppies melt in you mouth.. The peel an eat shrimp was great as well. I got a Tropicola mixed drink that was really good. An the free ice cream is such a neat thing to do. I would recommend this place.

Beautiful night for sitting outside! Enjoyed a lovely glass of Red Blend. Ordered the Pick 3 Platter with Broiled Haddock, Broiled Shrimp and a crab cake. Dish was accompanied by Cole slaw, hush puppies and steamed broccoli. Great presentation and seasoning, but too salty for me. Ended dinner with their complimentary Soft Serve Ice Cream Bar. Service by Carol was friendly and efficient!

On vacation from Ohio. Our tour guide recommended Iguanas for lunch. So glad we took her recommendation. We dined in. The waitress was great. I ordered lunch special fried shrimp a side of grits and hush puppies. OH MY GOODNESS! The shrimp were light, crisp and sweet. The grits were the star of the show.... BLEW ME AWAY!! BEST GRITS EVER. I can not wait to visit St Simon Island again. Good service, Excellent food!

I was at this place on Mother's Day with my family and we had a very pleasant time with the food so delicious, the atmosphere so cozy and the customer service so special I definitely highly recommend that you come to this place you will not regret it.

Iguanas Seafood was a nice family oriented restaurant. A group of us had had lunch there. The menu consisted of a variety of seafood specials. Everything was delicious. Wait-staff was friendly & accommodating. The food that caught everyone's attention was the full self-serve ice cream bar ... sprinkles, oreo crumbles, m&Ms anything you can think of. Loved it!

We stopped in at Iguana's because they serve GA wild caught shrimp. We sat at the bar and had a drink and the shrimp platter. The shrimp were delicious! The service was also very friendly and efficient. The complimentary ice cream was also a nice addition.

Thank you Zack for a delightful experience. I thought all the staff was exceptional, thoughtful, cheerful and attentive. This was a recommendation from a local and she was correct. The food was good, fresh, tasty and served hot. They are famous for their shrimp, so try that when you go.

The bacon wrapped coconut shrimp and crab cake were cooked to perfection, served by friendly staff. Cheerful atmosphere. We were delighted to meet Mike in person in his world famous restaurant. He is very outgoing and a good will ambassador for his fine dining establishment.

Food was delicious, the crusty celery in my bloody Mary not so much! Presentation means so much! The shrimp app platter was delicious.... enough for 2(12pcs) and the fries were yummy too! The place was busy and overall a 4.8 place a little outdated but the food taste saved the day!!

My friend and I had lunch here today. I had the crab cake sandwich with fries and she had the blackened chicken pasta Alfredo. Both of our dishes were excellent and our service was great as well. They also offer free soft serve ice cream with several toppings to choose from. Would definitely eat here again!!

Went for early dinner over Memorial day weekend.

Scallops and Shrimp were perfectly cooked. Get them broiled!
Our server Landon was on point. Drinks were solid.

Atmosphere was friendly, beachy, warm. Got seated quickly, Landon, our server, was with us immediately after sitting.
After we ate, with a line of people waiting for tables, Landon told us that even though we paid the bill, we could stay for "as long as you want, I know how it is to see family after a while, take your time!!"
