The Range At Ballantyne

Stopped in today with my son and these guys were awesome. Friendly as well as kind to us and properly explained everything. We went in the morning and it was a great crowd. If I lived closer I would definitely become a member. Highly recommend!

I had been here years ago, but forgot most of the basics. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Mike who spent quite a bit of time with me and my friend, retraining us in the proper handholds and safety procedures. He worked with us as we tried several 9mm handguns, showing us the pros and cons of different weapons. He was extremely patient with our questions and the rest of the staff also helped us as any issue arose. I will definitely be coming back again!!

Incredible staff, clean facility. Safest range I’ve ever experienced. Staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help in any way possible. Large selection of new and used guns, attachments and accessories. 10/10.

First off... the place is spacious. I wish I would've have taken the time to see everything. Nice indoor range. They also have a good selection of items. We had a great time. As we were checking out dude had a couple of older guns. He had no issue showing to us and letting us go hands on. I wish I could remember his name. Be cool if I lived closer. Hopeful to check out everything the next time we are there!!!

It was our first time there. We were greeted at the door. I never give five stars. I can’t wait to see if it’s as good the next time we go. The staff was very courteous. How many establishments recommend you to another place if they don’t have exactly what you’re looking for. This one did. Most importantly no strong arm tactics that we have to use their targets like Blackstone does. I hope their demeanor stays the same. We will be visiting again shortly.

The staff was AMAZING, this was our first time at a gun range and everyone was super helpful and friendly from the time we walked in the door. I will definitely continue to patronize this range and I'm excited to learn more about firearms and firearm control & safety from such passionate and caring staff.
It was also way cheaper than I thought it would be. We shot an AR22 & Glock22 with 2 boxes of ammo for about $50 (for 2 ppl).

Great employees that are very knowledgeable. The environment is a lot more relaxed than most other local ranges. The shooting range itself is clean and very user friendly. I’d recommend this range to anyone.

Just moved to the area from South Florida and went here today to fire off a bunch of rounds with my brother-in-law. We had a great time. World class facility with a very well ventilated firing range. Top notch equipment and safety is a top priority here. Lots of it is old school common sense but some people just don’t get it so it needs to be spelled out for them. Will absolutely be back.

been here a few times and honestly amazing place, sure prices are a bit on the higher side, but honestly, I would say it's worth it. The facilities and employees are great. I have a better time going here than other relatively cheaper places.

A great range with a wonderful staff. Colin and his crew are very respectful and helpful to both the experienced and novas shooter. Anyone that says they had a bad experience at this range probably has a hard time no matter where they go.
I highly recommend The Range at Ballantyne to anyone interested in getting involved in shooting sports it's a great place to learn, and meet new friends.

Very awesome indoor range. Plenty of training and events to help improve shooting proficiency. Good price for normal range use and good selection of rental guns. Staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and ready to help novice to expert shooters with any needs.

Matt has great customer service skills. He was friendly and very helpful from the time we walked in until the time we left.

First time gun owner thanks to Kheegan and I will certainly be back. Loved the experience so much, I got my brother into it, and now he's also heading to this range with me frequently. Prices are reasonable and staff is knowledgeable. Will be back to purchase a Sig!

My wife and I went here on 8/6/2020. She is new to handguns and I wanted her to be comfortable. The staff was excellent. Friendly, respectful of our first time at a gun range. They even place us away from other shooters which I think was intentional as we communicated it was her first time firing a weapon. Facility is clean and organized. We really enjoyed our time and will be back as regulars. Only issue is ammunition was not available but currently ammo is tough to find anywhere even online. Depending on how often we go we may become members.

Today I visited with a friend for the “try a firearm” deal. Mike and fellow employees were beyond helpful. I hadn’t shot in a while and was nervous - the gentleman here helped me chose which guns to try and made me more at ease. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

I moved to SC a little over a year ago and this range was close to apt. After going there my wife and i both love shooting there. The range is very nice and well set up. I bought a couple firearms there and have a membership. Great place to shoot and everyone working there are great. Bought a house in york several months ago so now it is a 40 minute drive to get here. I gladly drive that distance to shoot there as another range closer to me now has a poorly maintained range and even worse show room selection. If you have never done a bowling pin shoot i highly recommend it. It is very fun with a light competitive tone. Everyone that shoots in it are great and were very helpful with tips the first couple times i went. I will definitely renew my membership when it expires soon. I highly recommend this range.

First time at a range and Sam and Keegan were so much help. Sam took the time to show us how to do everything properly until we were comfortable on our own and was overall a super nice guy. Same with Keegan! Very patient and attentive.. took his time explaining things to us and teaching us about the guns that were available to rent. I love the staff, I would recommend this place to anyone.
