The Old Mine

Foam Friday this week didn’t come with a ton of foam as I headed to one of our favorite spots in Erie, The Old Mine Cider Company, which serves up some fantastic cider and other great drinks! I had a chance to check out the Paloma Hard Cider which is a seasonal and it was delicious. In the past I’ve enjoyed all kinds of ciders including their great cider and beer infusions. They also have a fantastic food menu which some really good pizzas and wings. Not too mention they are attached to an ice cream shop. They have fantastic seating options for all size of parties and make it super easy to have a great meal and/or drinks! If you are ever in downtown Erie be sure to check them out!

First time here, super delicious. I got the Boojie Grilled Cheese, No Body Calls Me Chicken Sandwich, Cider Donuts, and a flight of ciders, all really good.

Wonderful place! Cider is delightful and made in-house, a decent selection of local beers as well. Staff is great and super friendly. They always make you feel right at home. Not the largest food selection, but good stuff, and they carry VooDoo chips! Highly recommend to anyone!

Really good cider. Delicious and strong. Food was good too. Prices not crazy. Right in downtown Erie so it was fun to walk around after too. Family friendly and a lot of seating, including nice outdoor seats.

Great neighborhood cider spot. I wish I lived closer so I could come back more often. The "squeeze the day" tastes like bananas and fun. The vanilla bourbon tastes really well balanced. Overall, a really good time with friendly people and a relaxing family friendly atmosphere.

Great food, great staff, and great cider. Not typically a cider fan, but we got a cider flight, and The Old Mine converted me. Although their beer selection is small, they had a couple of rare beer finds available on tap. I ate the grilled cheese minus the tomato, which was great! Their doughnuts are tasty as well. There is also an ice cream shop attached. To cap it off, you can get your fortune delivered by Zoltar!! Nothing negative about this spot. We will be back!

Great patio and lovely seating inside. I like their cider/beer mixes and giant pretzel are great.

The cider flights were great for cider lovers, but also noted that they've got a range of options for most tastes. The pizzas were FAB and came out impressively quickly! Love the atmosphere and had excellent service!

Not a big menu but it doesn't need to be. Food is excellent and so is the cider! Staff was great and a cool atmosphere!!!

One of our favorite spots. Amazing ciders and beer. Their wings are on point and pizza is awesome. We plan my kids barber appointments around lunch time just so we can stop here for lunch after their hair cuts. Super friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.

Enjoyed the Chai cider, it was so good and now my favorite flavor here. My drink of choice is cider, which I rarely even do and many ciders are dry which I don't like at all. I came here with my friend who hasn't been before, it was nice and cozy and we enjoyed catching up. I've always enjoyed this place and will be back. Chai cider year round would be awesome.

Great food and awesome vibe in historic downtown Erie. Definitely recommend. Their ciders are absolutely fantastic.

If you want some great pizza and cider, this is the spot for you!! They have a nice outdoor area, great specialty pizzas, friendly employees and an amazing vibe. Give it a try if you’re in downtown Erie, SO good!

Their Cinnamon Habanero Cider + their Vanilla Bourbon Cider = Liquid Apple Pie. A must have for those warm summer nights by the campfire.

Some of the best craft ciders I've ever had in a great, relaxed atmosphere. And they rotate out their seasonal ciders often enough to provide variety.

OMG!! Amazing food. The flatbread was outrageous. Their cidars are the best I've ever had. Definitely worth the drive off the 25. You won't be sorry.

Stopped by here for a lunch with my wife and I gotta say I was very impressed. The food was very delicious and the set up if the restaurant is very cool. I was not able (at the time of lunch) to try their ciders, however, my wife was! She absolutely loved three of them! So much so she took two growlers home from the place!! They sell these here which is so very cool. Picture is attached to review of the bottle. Will be going back very soon!

We stopped here on a whim and were very happy we did. The space has a rustic feel. The food was very good. We had brisket, sausage, and chicken plates. It got a little loud but not so much that it was problematic. We decided to try the ciders which is not something we usually do, but we’re glad we did. The pear and apple pie ciders were fantastic. If you’re in the area check it out.

Delicious beer paired with pizza. What could be better! Tried the snake bite beers that mixed stout and cider, so can't speak for their beers. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Really appreciated how the bartender refused to serve an intoxicated guest - and made sure he was safe and with a way home. Would recommend if you'd like a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. 😀

I've been here a number of times now... And even when really busy, service is wonderful, great staff!!! The multiple options of drinks are awesome. Had pizza today and also wonderful! Make this one of your local stops for sure!
