Mr West Coffee

Mr. West has been consistently good across all the locations I’ve visited. I really love their coffee and cafe offerings. The marionberry biscuit was very good. Their Madrona location is much smaller than the University Village and Downtown locations, so keep in mind during busy times that seating is very limited at this one. The staff was friendly as well.

Excellent service, beverages, and food. Very chill and quietly gracious. Top notch coffee experience in this city of coffee shops.

I just had the Root Beer Cream for the first time and WOW!! It’s delicious.

Espresso, house root beer, and shaken cream. It’s like a root beer float that acceptable to drink in the late morning b/c it will keep you going the rest of the day!

I’ve always been a fan of Mr. West and this is exactly what the Madrona neighborhood needs. They make the most delicious lattes and have an incredible selection of pastries and food items. It’s the perfect place to work remotely and fill your soul with amazing coffee and baked goods.

Mr. West has done it again, bringing unparalleled speciality coffee to Madrona. Their robust menu of rotating single origin coffees, engaging speciality drinks, and classics has something for everyone. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and welcomes each guest with care. The manager Emily, who has decades of experience in speciality coffee, is leading a team of passionate, day-making coffee professionals. This is the finest cafe in the area and I have no doubt it will create meaningful community connections for years to come.

PS - try the Orange Mocha, made with Theo chocolate and orange bitters with a beautiful chocolate and orange sugar rim.

Decided to give them another try, but it was no different than the first time. Upon entering - never acknowledged, greeted, or even looked at until the barista decided it was time. With two baristas working the bar while helping the one customer at the register, it shouldn't be so hard to look up and greet a customer.

All stars go to the atmosphere - clean and inviting, easy to work in. Good wifi.

Another note - maybe consider moving the pastry glass to the front since that's where orders are taken. It's awkward to run to the "pick up" section to view pastries.

I always come here to study and I just love the vibes. Baristas are incredibly friendly and the coffee is always top notch. I had a single origin espresso shot the other day that literally tasted like a strawberry field. Madrona has needed a specialty coffee shop and wow did they deliver.

Have come here several times since their opening with my little friend Coal and we both love it :) Great lattes and tasty pastries. Staff is so kind and welcoming to us both. Little cramped when it gets busy, but that's to be expected.

A very welcome addition to the downtown Madrona scene. This is right next to the famous Madrona Arms, in the retail storefront that has been vacant for a long time. They have really remodeled it very nicely with a modernized retro look. The drink options are all the standard items, plus a lot of creative twists. I posted a picture of the menu. A few pastries such as coffee cake are available also.
Right off the bat business is brisk!

I’m normally a plain latte or drip person but the specialty drinks are all so good! Loved the toffee latte and root beer cream I’ve tried. I also hope they add more or rotate in new food items! Thank you

Madrona needed a coffee shop - great coffee, soft serve ice cream, and tasteful seasonal flavors.

Wow, this spot is an amazing addition to the already charming Madrona. This space has been empty for years and it looks fantastic. Just feels good to be in the space…. Probably all the plants. Will be recommending this spot to all our friends and visitors.
