Love this place. The wife and I go here for breakfast every weekend. Never had anything less than a great experience.

Good small-town cafe where friendly staff are always quick to great and serve you. Pleasant atmosphere and tasty meals make this a good family place full of small-town service and care.

Good food and service
Nothing amazing, but good comfort food.

Went to Marshall Cafe and Restaurant for the first time this week. I was disappointed in the food and service. The waitress had little help from other workers, including what appeared to be the manager. The server did not smile once and seemed very overwhelmed. I also believe the employees could have been dressed more professional and been better kept. I think there were a lot of health code violations going on as well. I saw the server eat and drink right before serving food without washing her hands. She also cut a piece of pie and placed on a plate and used her hand to do so. There was a sink that those eating could see and while I was there for over an hour I did not see one person use it. I also saw another employee proceed to touch his hair and wipe his nose and then roll silverware (again without washing his hands).

I am a former server myself and know this is a major health code violation. You must wash your hands after eating, using the restroom, touching face/hair, to name a few. The food was okay. The french fries that came with my meal also did not have any salt on them. The menu is also very large which can be both good and bad at the same time. The chicken sandwich was well seasoned, but it mentions it comes with mayo and lettuce. When I got the sandwich it had lettuce, tomato, and pickles, so I was a little confused. Overall, the establishment lacked some basic cleanliness and management. I have worked in customer service for seven years and believe I could have done a better job. The biggest let down was the service. As part of your job you should be friendly and smile and there was none of that. I do not have any intentions of returning.

I went to this place Saturday night 9/3/16. It as my second time there. It was terrible The waitress was awesome but the food I got was uneatable. I order the ribs and chicken and I asked for breast and wing. When the plate came it was a thigh and leg and the worst looking ribs I ever saw. I told the waitress I couldn't eat it. She was very kind and told me she would get me a breast and wing. After a 20 min wait and no chicken, I asked for my check and was charged $5.00 for chicken I never got. Never again. Everyone deserves a second chance and that was it for me. Thank you Haven for your kindness but I would find another job if I were you.. I had to give them one star to post they did not deserve it. Very disappointed in their customer service.

I have came down here 2 Sundays in a row to grab food, I am standing in front of it and according to the hours it is open. There isn't a person in sight, the phone number on google is disconnected. Not sure how I am suppose to know when it is open and when it is not

Breakfast menu has green peppers included in nearly every skillet or omelet. That alone was enough to send me elsewhere.

Terrible food, messed up orders and service is sad.
