Had the Freighter coffee, Hamilton burger homemade seasoned fries - all delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Came in town for small business and came across this gem of a place. My guy working is amazing and kind! Gave great suggestions on the best brews and explained the homemade non synthetic syrups. The burger was nice and fresh and careful put together to have a great presentation. I have never experienced a place as such, it’s a wonderful mix of personality. Live music in a coffee shop with great food, I highly recommend for local and travelers to visit.

Me and my daughter came in from out of town while on vacation and we are certainly glad we did the best coffee and food ever the patty melt and cheese fries are to die for! Definitely will try to come back before we go back home! And it's a very chill and vibrant atmosphere! Definitely recommend stopping here if you can and Josh our server/cook/barista took complete care for us made everything for us and served it!

I ordered the classic burger and fires. I have to say it was some of the best fries I have ever had and the burger was also top notch. They offer some of the best gluten free buns I have had and also dairy free cheese. The service was also great and the man working made sure everything was right since I could not have gluten or dairy.

Went here two days in a row when on a vacation in Lexington a few months back. Loved it. Staff was welcoming and the restaurant had a homey feel. You can tell the food is fresh and quality. And the pancake syrup is great. Highly recommend. I hope this place gets the attention they deserve

The coffee selection is fantastic and absolutely delicious. The breakfast was excellent -- I can't recommend the hash browns highly enough. I really liked the ambiance, it's cozy with interesting art. The best part though was the service. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable (and made a mean cup of Joe). The cook came out to speak with us (and made top tier breakfast). Rae's is a treasure.

We came for breakfast, and absolutely loved it there. I love the waffles and the HOMEMADE SYRUP. Get the homemade syrup; you won’t be disappointed. If you aren’t sure what flavor, ask your server to choose. It will be a great surprise.

We also loved talking to Missy, the owner, who is very involved in the entire area. We loved her welcoming attitude and enthusiasm toward her restaurant and Croswell.

What a gem in an area that is reinventing itself. We will definitely be back, and look forward to Rae’s success!

Thank goodness for Google because that’s how we found this little gem! We are camping in Lexington and it was a rainy Saturday morning and were looking for a place for breakfast and this is were we ended up. Everything was delicious and generous portions as well. The breakfast sandwich was better than what I could have done myself and my boyfriend’s omelette was huge and amazing. And….the coffee was outstanding! Perfect pour over and worth the wait.

We will be back for sure! Staff was friendly and you can tell they enjoy what they are doing.

Best breakfast around, drove here on a mini vacation to Lexington. Hands down the best stuff we ate on our trip. Quaint quiet place, a hidden gem really. Super friendly staff and coffee worth driving an hour for! Recommend the cappuccino with a splash of sugar free caramel. My wife and I even got a second one to go!

Rae's is awesome! We stopped in for burgers and coffee while passing through Croswell. It was pretty quiet when we stopped in, but the owners were super friendly and inviting. The burgers were amazing, as was my coffee with homemade maple and brown sugar syrups. I also picked up some whole bean coffee to take home with me (They roast it in the restaurant). I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Rae's was amazing!! Was looking for food in the Lexington area and came across Rae's just about 10 minutes away. The cheesecurd topped burger was incredible, and you can tell their fries are cut fresh. They have so many different blends of coffee to choose from. The staff was super nice and helpful, and the cook coming out to ask how the food was was so nice! Will definitely go back.

Rae’s is phenomenal! We came into town for a wedding and this was perfect for a Sunday morning brunch. They offer a large Gluten Free menu (Pancakes, Waffles, French Toast) which was a huge relief. Liz was our server and she was so sweet and welcoming. We absolutely will be coming back.

Absolutely delicious food and very friendly service! I had the "Hot"el burger with fries. Substituted the broche bun for a tortilla wrap (can't remember what they called that style) and was not disappointed. I told my wife after we left, I think I want all my burgers made that way.

Had an excellent caffeinated beverage to go. Highly recommend this place and if we head back this way (we live 7 hours away) we will definitely be eating here again!!

Stopped in here on a whim, WHAT A TREAT! The coffee selection was incredible, and the food was perfect! Salted Carmel syrup for French toast? Life changing. We'll be coming back asap! The service was friendly, attentive, and sweet. The cook even came out to check on us!

The food was pretty good, service was very personable. The cook coming out to talk to us about the order was awesome! His recommendation from the Hunters coffee blend to Off the Rails blend was superb!

This was a heck of a find, not just a coffee house and eatery, but a small art gallery, local goods and merchandise, and coffee goods sold there too! Definitely worth checking out!

This place has some of the best coffee I've ever had. I also ordered a jalapeno popper burger and fries now let me just say that those French fries were seasoned so perfectly that I was completely blown away. Hands down the best place in town!

We’re from SE Michigan and were visiting Croswell for a funeral. We stopped in to Rae’s, hoping for a light breakfast and some coffee, and boy did we find that and more! Service was phenomenal, hands down! Sean is an awesome kid and was so knowledgeable about everything from the floor boards to the coffee. And the coffee! Was superb! I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with extra crispy bacon and an over medium egg with provolone cheese and it was delicious! I truly enjoyed stopping in and will be driving back to Croswell now, just for this coffee shop. Blessed!

My wife and I stopped in here on a whim before picking up our daughter from a local camp, looking for a quick breakfast stop, and I had the best breakfast sandwich! Coffee was great too, and staff very friendly. Must stop if you are in the area and looking for a place to relax and grab something eat. Highly recommend.
