I had such a wonderful time getting my hair done here. It was my first time, and sitting and chatting with Koallie felt like visiting with a good friend. I just thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. They have a very fun lounge are with a shuffle board table, guitars, and board games. As well as tea, cider, coffee, etc. It’s just such a warm space. I booked my next appointment before leaving. Looking forward to it!

I had my first appointment with Micaela last night and was blown away.I have long, thick curly hair and have struggled to find a stylist that is able to work with it. I had a cut and color done. She explained everything to me to a degree that I have never had a stylist do before. It made me feel very comfortable and confident in her knowledge. She also did a cleansing treatment that took my hair from feeling like wax to feeling like silk. I was her last client of the day and she really took her time to get to know my hair again explaining everything as she worked on making me look amazing.

All around awesome place! Can’t say enough good things. Atmosphere is so bright, clean and welcoming. Has a super chill comfortable vibe. Koalie is the best hair dresser I’ve ever had. You can give her an idea of what you want and she makes it into a reality. Also just a really fun person to talk to. Highly recommend!

Five stars all the way. The salon itself is beautiful. Such a calming and peaceful atmosphere I honestly didn't want to leave. Koallie is amazing. Not only a wonderful person but she knows her stuff. I trust her to just do what she thinks will be best for my hair and I've never been disappointed. She truly cares about her clients. That is so hard to find these days. When you find all this in one place, you know you've finally found where you belong! Thank you so much for another amazing color. I love it! Rooted is more than a salon; it has become a staple in the community. They share a safe space to hangout, play music, share stories, and browse/shop local art and canned goods.
Koallie created a home away from home for all those who visit. The minute you walk through the door you are welcomed with positive energy and warm hellos and that's just a bonus.
The talent that salon holds is top tier. Every stylist and barber in there is professional and passionate and you see that in the work they do. All around great energy and amazing results from this new gem. I'm excited to watch Rooted Hair Co. Grow (pun intended) and I will continue recommending Rooted to everyone I know!

The most delightful boutique salon. I was first charmed by the wind chimes out front and the atmosphere inside was just as warm and welcoming. To begin with, there are happy-looking indoor plants everywhere — a decorative choice with which I really jive. The next feature that really stood out before I even sat down to have my hair done was the soft live music being played from a comfy sitting area towards the rear of the salon.
Then I sat down in my chair to discuss with the stylist my needs. Koallie, the owner of the establishment, was my hairdresser. She was warm, compassionate, and so talented! I’ve never had such a positive salon experience and I will definitely return. I sincerely recommend this little paradise on the Milford oval.

I went to Rooted Hair Co for my first ever color treatment. I wasn't 100% sure what to expect but from the moment I walked in I knew I was in good hands. I have followed Koalie to a number of salons but my favorite spot is her salon, Rooted, in Milford. Like Koalie, it is warm and inviting and full of positive energy. It’s a great salon with terrific stylists!

New to Milford but not new to Milford or the trade. Koallie is a knowledgable, experienced hairdresser who listens to her clients. She does a beautiful job with color and cuts. The atmosphere is retro-vintage and the entire experience is relaxing. She offers wine, tea, coffee, complimentary snacks and good vibes.
