Stella's cafe

This cafe excelled at delivering customer service for a coffee lover with its pastries, food, teas, and coffee! During my visit to my parent's house in Lake Livingston, I came to this cafe daily to get my daily dose of caffeine paired with a pastry. The iced latte is strong enough, well-balanced, and tasty! I highly recommend this place if you visit our cute, tiny town of Lake Livingston.

First time here and I am enjoying the Turmeric Ginger tea and their scone! My husband is having their
Pistachio bread and dang it is tasty! I will be back for their other pastry and sandwiches!

We've been waiting expectantly for it to open since we heard about it. We went today for breakfast and were not disappointed. We shared a salmon quiche and a strawberry and creme croissant. Out of this world. Reasonable prices for the quality of food an atmosphere. Looking forward to returning and sampling other delectable treats.

Wow!!! I am SO grateful that Livingston finally has a VERY trendy, culturally diverse restaurant 🙌. It is BEAUTIFUL...I have traveled to France and visited Paris... Stella's food is very authentic and delicious. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and creativity of the menu. We will be coming in as regulars for sure! Bon apetite! Stella's elevates our little East Texas town! Great food, great service, clear dedication to execution on a dream. I love the almond croissants and baguet sandwiches.

Ok so let me address the elephant in the room. The prices are actually much lower that I expected. I work in Houston in the restaurant industry and I can fully attest to the fact the same establishment in Houston would charge twice as much as Stella's does. The food and ingredients are all natural and fresh. That old saying applies..."you get what you pay for", however in the case of Stella's...you get more than what you paid for.
Now for my review of the establishment.
OMG this place is such a welcome addition and a joy to have in our little , but growing town! The food is fresh! You can taste that they use natural ingredients and not all the preservative you taste in other eatery's. Already a family favorite spot to go visit. Keep up the great work!!!

I have to say that these people are doing everything right. I can walk in, not knowing a damn thing, and feel right at home. No one makes you feel dumb for not knowing their menu. The Breakfast Ham and Swiss Croissant was outstanding. Lunch is also highly recommended. Thank you for exsiting. Thank you, Brooke, for being patient with this country boy.

I’ve been to France a couple of times, once to Paris and once to Normandy. Anywhere you go French bakeries are a staple of French life. People get their morning croissant and coffee the same way we get a donut or a bagel and coffee. This is exactly the same experience here as there. The baking is very obviously done by someone classically trained and as good as anything I’ve had in France. The staff was helpful and polite knowledgeable. The interior is like walking into a high end bakery you might find in Paris. Floors finishes and decorum are so bright and welcoming on a morning. Chocolate croissants and almond croissants are awesome. Sandwiches too. Everything is artisan quality. I will go back for sure. If there is one place to go when you are in Livingston this is it. You guys rock!

Italian Grinder is the best and the French Dip isn’t far behind. Everything was delicious.

This is a beautiful cafe and the pastry collection is worth a visit! Outdoor seating is available and there is a variety of seating inside.

Not from the area (from a bigger city) and Stella’s could definitely go toe to toe with the metropolis type cafes - everything is fresh, the decor is trendy, and my goodness everything tastes good. I could see myself coming here every week. We’re French and we approve.

Attended the soft opening tonight and must say, that usually soft openings are expected to be chaotic. This was NOT the case! We were politely greeted as soon as we walked through the door. The gentleman explained in detail, the main entree & dessert options; along with the expected times to prepare. As soon as we approached the glass display, there was an abundant array of several options to choose from and they all looked and sounded delicious! My husband decided on the Pan Seared Salmon and I, the Pesto Fougasse; along with several Patisseries. The pastries were quickly cut and served at the register, as we were settling the bill. The main entrees came out quickly. Both meals were delicious! The quality of the ingredients were evident in the bursting of each individual flavor that complimented the meal in its entirety. The waitstaff checked on us several times and were all very pleasant. Chef Ward even stopped by to check on us himself and took the time to chat with us about how our first impression experience was. The design of the building interior and exterior was beautifully executed! We’re both very much looking forward to eating here quite often! Kudos to all involved!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stella's Cafe!
Real highlight of my visit was the delicious baking goods offered at Stella's Cafe. From the flaky croissants to the decadent pastries, each bite was a burst of flavor and perfection. I couldn't resist trying not one , not two but multiple delicious items ! The attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly shone through in every bite.

Not only were the baking goods top-notch, but the rest of the menu was equally impressive. The savory dishes were just as delicious as the sweet treats, and I appreciated the variety of options available. It was clear that the chefs at Stella's Cafe take great pride in their creations and it definitely paid off.

Aside from the amazing food, I also have to mention the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect.

Overall, I highly recommend Stella's Cafe for anyone looking for a beautiful, modern French place to eat.

Super cute place and the food was delicious! Can’t wait to come back!

Wish I’d taken a picture! Everything was amazing. Service was good and fast. We ordered the bacon croissant sandwich, sausage croissant sandwich, strawberry and cream croissant, blueberry cheesecake danish, latte, cappuccino, and drip coffee. Everything was amazing!

Alot of effort went forth on behalf of the owners to provide a very unique dining experience in both services, atmosphere & definitely culinary delights . . So rather you're a mile or several miles away this French Culinary Bakery is worth the trip to taste Livingston Texas

Place is clean, food presentation is outstanding.. food is displayed like work of art. Had the Blt , Americana coffee, and tomato basil soup. Knocks your taste buds just right.
Got a baguette bread to go with another BLT...

A breath of fresh air to Livingston. The food and pastries are delicious. The shelves of sourdough loaves and baguettes are picturesque. It is my new favorite spot in town!

AMERICANA , WAS WEAK but they fixed it per my request for extra expresso shot. Yummmy! Coffee is VERY HOT. THE FOOD LOOKED EXCELLENT BUT I JUST HAD COFFEE. Restrooms were very clean! O will try it again when I have a meal.

Dear Stella’s, today I had your baked potato soup. It was out of this world DELICIOUS! P.S. please make more so I can have a second bowl!
