What a fantastic little place! Definitely on par with MariBette and CouCou - and that is saying a lot.

You can tell they really care about every detail. We ordered two ham & cheese empanadas and they were incredible. We also got a matcha latte and an iced americano. Both were delicious and came with a little chocolate cookie and some sparkling water. Had to grab 2 pastries to go which I’m sure will be equally as great as the rest of it.

Everyone was so welcoming and the inside of the shop was so cute and clean. A great little spot to sit outside under the umbrellas too!

Ordered a latte and was pleasantly surprised when they brought out a whole little tray with a small cookie and what I thought was water. I was further delighted when it was a bubbly water instead. The latte was delicious, too. I cannot recommend this place enough for a peaceful coffee break.

Such a wonderful addition to the Cville cafe scene! I lived in Buenos Aires and the medialunas here are simply some of the best I’ve ever had. Very cute space and great service.

Exceptional! Amazing customer service and delicious coffee and food. I tried the empanadas (ham & cheese, cheese & onion, spinach & artichoke, and tomato mozzarella), a vanilla latte, and one of the custard croissants. Loved them all! The croissants was dreamy. Delicious coffee, not too sweet. Can’t wait to explore the menu more. Also hat tip for the hooks cleverly installed under the tables for purse storage. Great spot for vegetations too.

Absolutely incredible! Cumbre is the absolute best and highly recommend. The coffee is amazing, the empanadas are to die for and the pastries are so delicious. Staff is so friendly. Great spot in Charlottesville that we have now added to our weekly menu!

Love this amazingly cute Argentine coffee shop one block from the mall. It’s been a wonderful location for a standing Saturday morning coffee date with my wife. Owners are kind and gracious and the place has a vibe that makes going out for coffee feel special. 10 out of 10, would smash.

Best coffee shop in Charlottesville. One of the ways I rate a coffee shop is their black brew coffee and a mocha latte. The black coffee is smooth, no burnt after taste. The mocha latte aka submarino w/espresso is wonderful, it's not too sweet! I don't like super sweet things and this was perfect. It's a good rich chocolate taste balanced well with the espresso and milk.

Don't forget to try their delicious pastry items and empanadas! The cheese and onion empanada is delicious along with the quince medialuna and alfajor. All very tasty!

The service and attention to detail is also great. They're more than happy to tell you more about the treats in the case. I also like how they serve your drink and treats.

The seating inside is very limited. Only 3 small tables that sit 2 each. There are tables outside their shop.

What a great little spot! The employees were super friendly and that alone made me want to come back. Indoor/outdoor seating. The empanadas were really good and so was the other item.

Amazing bakery! It was so bright, clean, and relaxing inside. The service was great. One of the owners made our sandwiches and he was so kind! We got the Sacramento sandwich and prosciutto pleasure which were so delicious. We also got an Americano and chai latte. We will definitely be back :)

Popular new crowded very small spot. Little vanilla cream pastry was delicious, empanada's good. Husband started digging in b4 I could get complete photos 😄 he liked the empanada more than I did. Will be back to try other pretty sweet treats and espresso drinks!

After visiting Argentina, Cumbre takes me back to the beautiful city of Buenos Aires. Walking into the bakery you are met with the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed cafe and warmed facturas! Each staff member welcomes you with a smile and lovely conversation. I’ve had many of the facturas and they are all wonderful, but the medialunas (croissants) are absolutely delicious and the quality of the food is superb! Every time I’m in Charlottesville I will be coming by!

Empanadas were delicious. We tried 3 different kinds; they were all great. Service and setting were really nice.

Fantastic service and coffee! Very cute little shop with a small but functional parking lot (very happy there was somewhere to park!) I got one iced mocha and one hot mocha which were delicious. The one issue with the iced mocha was that the chocolate blended in was too chunky to go up the straw. I just took the top off and drank it that way :) Also got an artichoke and spinach empanada which was delectable! Highly recommended overall!!

10 stars. Incredible baked goods! I’ve been looking for authentic empanadas and Argentinian breads. The owners are amazing people. Highly recommend!
