Yellowstone Mine

The food is incredible! It comes out fast and flavorful. All of the wait staff is kind, cheerful and attentive. The chicken pot pie is so good but the trout was the clear winner.

I have learned that one has to overlook the star ratings sometimes. First visit, dinner, was really good. The elk chili was very flavorful, the kids ate a really nice hot dog and burger and the Montana Philly was really good too. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were pretty good too. Our waiter was a nice fella. The kitchen was backed up they told us but we are on vacation, what’s the rush. We’re thinking about trying it for breakfast.

We had breakfast here and we are definitely coming back. The food is served warm, has great flavor, and excellent portions for the price you pay. The service was amazing, the young lady working the counter and serving was constantly checking in on us and filling up our coffee mugs. The restaurant is nice and cozy and very calm in the morning.

Friendly staff, good selection, good value if you're hungry! My kids and I went twice for the breakfast buffet - once at 8am and once at 9am. It's like a good free hotel breakfast on steroids. Fruit, cereal, oatmeal, bagels/bread, eggs and all standard breakfast meats, a potato option or two. Lot of juice/milk/coffee options. I'd DEFINITELY recommend it for people with kids! They'll love almost all of it and you'll get your money's worth 😂

We enjoyed our meal at Yellowstone Mine and had only a short wait to get seated at the busy dinner hour. Service was friendly and prompt and the food was good. The menu is not extensive, but we appreciate that in a restaurant as it typically means the dishes are done well. We had the trout and the meatloaf and both were great! They were large portions.

The Yellowstone Mine, to me, was the best dining experience we had on our trip to Gardiner. The food portions were nice sized. Enough to share for sure. The service was friendly and attentive. If we had come here our first night, we may have not gone anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Our waitress, Shannon, was phenomenal - she was very attentive despite the restaurant being so busy, and even accommodated us when there was a dessert they had run out of with what she could find at no charge. The food was delicious and all of the food was generously portioned.

We had breakfast, we ordered tres leches which has french toast, the portion of the food was too much, the nice lady which we were so pleased with served us with hot chocolate, we were in gardiner for 2 nights but discovered this place late, i will give this place 5 ratings due to first hospitality of the lady and the awesome breakfast.

The best place we've eaten in a long time! The staff was phenomenal! Our waiter, Warren was phenomenal. So attentive and kind. The food was fabulous!

Amazing western/cowboy style diner. Friendly and efficient staff. The food is very reasonably priced. You can get a steak meal for $24. Good selection of local beers. Onions rings are probably the best appetizer you can order here.

Excellent food, Excellent service. Shannon was amazing. Blackened trout, elk chili and the chicken pot pie were all winners. 'Nuff said.

Shannon, our waitress, was superb. She handled our group of 10 with apparent ease. The food was excellent.

So I came here, but was hesitant due to previous reviews. As you can tell, I got started prior to taking a pic. My bad. That is the ribeye cooked medium rare to perfection with a loaded tater. The rest of my table got the same thing and they were all done right! Now I will say we had to wait a long time, but the waitress was super nice and got us when she could. Don’t come in expecting to get super fast service. I chalk it up to COVID staffing issues. All in all a very pleasant experience.

We had Vicki take care of us! She makes the best Bloody Mary’s! This place is definitely worth a visit!

Nice restaurant. A small selection on the menu. The good was good with huge portions.

I wish I had remembered my servers name. He was missing his Rs, so i know he was from the East Coast. 😆 He was awesome. Service was great even though he was the only server. The lady who seated me was very nice and attentive also.
The food was pretty good. I had the beef steak sandwich with fries and the cheese t-ravs for an appetizer

Absolutely the best hard working waitresses. Very caring hard working. No one else in town was opening either because of the rodeo or father day. It's your busy season tourist time. They were the best of the best and work hard. Appreciate everything they did for me and my wife, both days great employees highly recommended!!!

Great breakfast buffet and lovely evening meal as well.
