River City Cafe

When I tell yall they got a specialty burger that's Off Da Wall!!!! Google their menu or zoom in on my pic and it's on the top right. I ate a big lunch so I couldn't finish it but I'll be back to challenge it again lol I got half of it done tho. We came kinda late but they showed us love and served us very well! My compliments to the chef on the night shift on 7/21/23

Surf and Turf burger was amazing!!! Loved the chili sauce on it. Fried shrimp were lightly floured and tasted fresh and great. Service was wonderful and we look forward to coming back before our vacation is over. Can’t wait to try the Blackened Grouper Ruben

Back again to River City at Sands Ocean Club! A staple visit each year. Our server (I wish I could remember her name) was a doll! So sweet and checked on us a lot. The drinks were decent, and the food seems to be a little less impressive than in years past. I still enjoyed my meal, but it just didn't hit the same. Maybe it was the selection I made... I hope it was not overall quality. Everyone else in the party seemed to enjoy everything. Of course we will always be back every time we stay at SOC.

They have mostly burgers and chicken sandwiches, but quite a few items with unique twists. There is an alcohol menu an appetizer menu, and a kid's menu here. They serve coke products.

This was located inside a resort so it was a bit tricky to find as there was no signage, a doorman had to point us in the right direction. I suppose most people who go here are guests in the resort.

Smaller place near the pool. service was attentive. you could see the pool area as you are eating.

Understanding that restaurants are dealing with a weird restart to business is important. We tried coming here for 2 days but attempted during peak hours and didn't feel like waiting so we went today off peak because we've heard great things. Very large menu and VERY fair pricing. Food came out hot, staff was kind, and interior decor was interesting to look at.

I had the big island burger and it was delicious, tangy and spicy. Was super pleased that they had vinegar for fries, which is something surprisingly odd for the area.

Husband had the OMG platter and it was a large platter as it described.

Burgers are cooked well, when the cooks are pumping out as much food as this place does, it's the safest method so I understand.

Very pleased with our food and will definitely return.

We ordered takeout. I got the patty melt and it was delicious! The fries weren't as crispy as I'd liked them to have been. But still good. Overall good experience

This is such a fun place! It brung so much positivity to me and my family’s trip. The prices weren’t too much and the food was very worth. Very yummy and great customer service.

Great burgers & convient if staying at Sands Ocean Resort!

We had this twice on our trip and it's so good. Some of the best burgers I've had in quite a while! They have a wide selection of different burgers, the appetizers were tasty, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. It's located in the back of a hotel right on the beach so it's in a great location.

It was kind of hard to find coming in from the roadside, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is. The burgers were consistently great. I would definitely go back. You can tell that they went with the quality over quantity approach method with their menu choice.

The reviews are correct. Perfectly divey and inexpensive, and also one of the BEST burgers I've ever had. Lots of options with crazy topping combos - I had one with jalapenos​, guacamole, and Doritos - but even a simple one would be just as good. Waffle fries were great. Everything was pretty much $9 or less. You can take food out to Ocean Annie's bar if you like.

The food was delicious! I highly recommend this place. The only negative we had was while we were waiting for our table the bartenders in the back ignored us and kept waiting on others that didn’t wait nearly as long. Our waitress and everything else was excellent though!

We needed carry out late and the kitchen was very accommodating and kind. Pick up was delayed on our end but the burgers were still fantastic!

River City has changed alot in the last two years! They have an awesome menu, their good taste fresh and they are fast- once you're seated. Note that they don't take reservations and waits can be long... even for carry out.

Wife and I have been here twice now.. Staff is friendly and accommodating. We are honestly going to come back at least one more time before we leave… Burgers are amazing! I’m a guy who usually gets a double. I got a double the first time we came and was barely able to finish. Fries are good and the homemade ranch is awesome as well! Love this place 11/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys burgers!!!

The best! Food is delicious, and as Barry says, cooked with love. Emily is so efficient and such a beautiful person. Don't know the names of all staff, but this is a great place for burgers, drinks and atmosphere.

Our waitress was amazing! The food and drinks were both delicious! Very friendly atmosphere! Really enjoyed eating here and will definitely be back soon!
