Harold's Chicken of Dyer #19

I'm from the city so I'm pretty particular about my Harold's. This was great without the headache of traveling to the city. I did call the restaurant a few times though and nobody answered. You can place an order online though.

Called in order & she said 20 mins & it was hot & fresh & perfect timing! The Crew was all smiles & friendly. Got me a Cat & 3Wing combo with Xtra mild on everything. I ate this DELICIOUS MEAL in the car in like 5 mins I wish I savored it more but it was SO PERFECT. Catfish crispy seasoned & cooked 2 perfection as well as the wings. Juicy crunchy crispy perfection 🥰! Everything I come thru Dyer I WILL BE STOPPING HERE! I haven't had such delicious perfect heralds since I had the one in Glenwood Illinois years ago. You all need to come to Crown Point, IN like yesterday! We will welcome you with open arms!

The food has always been good and very hot except for the fries. Get your fries on point Harold's! They seem refried/recooked/redipped and they don't be hot. I think the people who put it all together thinks that the hot chicken will get the fries hot.

Zero stars if possible. I ordered online, the delivery partner left my food outside, on the ground (Chow.) Harold's did not follow my order instructions of salt & pepper. I got flavorless, cold food that was left outside my door in the ground. Never again!

This is my go-to Harold's; wings and fries with lemon pepper and extra mild sauce. I've never had a problem with my food. I like to order online and pick up myself. Usually my food is hot and ready when I get there. Sometimes I wait a bit but that's ok cuz then it's hot hot. I love that they make everything to order! Also, they keep their store nice and clean and the employees always look presentable. Floor always looks clean in the kitchen. Nice work, #19!

Ordered 8 wings and an additional small fry both with mild sauce and black pepper. Everything was delicious, fresh and still hot & crispy after the doordash delivery.

I used their app (store #19) to order and pay. I was notified when my order was ready for pickup. The food was hot fresh and good. All request as for sauce etc. we're done correctly. Yes I took a bite so I can tell the truth. 🤣

We have a Harold's closer to us, but it's never open or they're out of what we want so we go to Dyer. They are friendly, as quick as they can be (it's made fresh), and the store is clean. Definitely worth the drive!!!

Their food is always fresh, their staff always courteous and professional. Ordering online is a breeze. Never a cpmplaint!

Yep you will have a wait but the exchange for your time is food that is hot, fresh and worth your dollar. Do you know how long it has been since, as a former Chicago resident, I have had Harold chicken this good. They are one of the originals; not just a perpetrator carrying the name and cooking subpar chicken like the one in Hyde Park or several downtown or north side locations in Chicago. Yuck!!! But this place…I’ll be returning. I found the young people who worked there very professional and competent. I will be returning. Very grateful I only love 15 minutes away

The food here is always great. This was my first time at the private venue there and it was really nice. The bare area was a great addition however I would recommend getting more and bigger TVs. The big tiger was on but all they had was a small tv to watch it on. Still enjoyed my self.

I placed an online order, given a time to pick up. I arrived ahead of the time by 5 minutes, my order was ready and warm. The service I received pleasant and prompt. My food was perfectly prepared...I will be returning.

I had the 1/2 dark meal with Harold's sauce on it. It was really good!! Definitely returning!

My cousin had her 90th birthday party at this venue. It's big, it's beautiful. Bar could have been a little more prepared. But for what my cuz had asked for, they had plenty and good stock she paid for an open bar of wine and beer. Food was good for catered food. Set up was amazin. It was a Beautiful party.

One of the best Harold's in the Chicago area. Food is always freshly cooked. The staff are warm, pleasant, and easy to deal with (...no attitudes). I don't mind giving them my money.
