Make sure to make a reservation. We went on a whim. They will seat you and take care of you but the reserved guests definitely come first. Food was amazing. Wait was long but again, we had no reservation. Atmosphere far beyond expectations. Very fancy and extremely well done.

Our host Bre and server Steve (omg the BEST) were absolutely AMAZING! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The calamari and Hungarian stuffed pepper appetizers were fantastic and authentic. I tried every dish served at our table - there wasn’t a bite left of my veal Parmesan, hubby’s perfectly cooked ribeye, or the clam pasta dish! Absolutely incredible - with much love from an Italian jersey girl raised in an Italian kitchen. ♥🙏🏻 Truly impressive! FYI - the upstairs is available for events too, be sure to ask for details! Will most definitely be back for more. Highest recommendations!

20JUL24 - Dinner. The place was busy, we had to sit outside but that was ok. It had rained earlier so it was actually comfortable.
I had an Old Fashioned, the 20 oz ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes. The table shared the fried calamari and baked Brussel sprouts. My wife got the ganache. ALL of it was amazing!
If you haven't been you should go, just not the nights I'm going so I can sit inside.

Our new favorite place for a classy dinner. We have been to most of the steakhouses around Raleigh, and Franko’s was better than them all. Service was amazing. Portion size was perfect. Food was so flavorful. We will definitely be back.

My husband brought me here for a last minute date night without a reservation and we were able to get a table upstairs near the bar. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the staff were very genuinely friendly. We decided last minute to order dessert and got the ricotta cheesecake and it was the best thing we ate that night. I don't even like cheesecake but it was AMAZING. The raspberry sauce on top went perfectly with it. So good. My husband and I couldn't stop talking about how nice this place looked inside. There was a lounge area and tons of little nooks you could sit and talk. Very cool spot that's def worth a visit.

We started with the bruschetta and stuffed peppers and they were both 10/10! My husband got the 10oz filet and I got the 6oz filet. We got a side of pasta, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and the crispy potato wedges… everything we ate was delicious! There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Our server was amazing! We sat downstairs and we made a reservation. We plan to do a reservation for upstairs next time just to try something different.

Franko’s Italian Steakhouse is a masterclass of amazing food meets superb service. I took my wife for dinner based off of several glowing recommendations.

I will tell you now that you NEED to make a reservation as this place is highly regarded and a lot of people come from all over to eat here.

We ordered our favorite cocktails to start off the night and they were made quickly, priced well, and perfectly executed.

As an appetizer we drilled some focaccia bread with olive oil covered ricotta cheese… my Italian ancestors had to have been cheering up above for the pure authenticity of the bread and cheese combo.

The waitstaff from the hostess, to Nino (our Hungarian waiter, you must ask for him) to the manager/leadership (Keith) of the restaurant were all superstars. You could tell they all wanted to be there and were happy and welcoming the entire time.

Dinner: Well, let’s just say it’s NOT easy to cook a 40oz cowboy ribeye medium all the way through and the chef nailed it. The steak was incredible and their sauce and steak topping options were very generous. Steaks are prices from 30-90 depending on what cut you order. We also ordered their homemade lasagna and it was the most creamy, well baked and layers lasagna we have had in a long time! Most dinner entrees are priced between 18-45.

We will be back and if you made it all the way to this part of my review then it’s because you for whatever reason are on the fence of booking a reservation… YOU MUST! You can thank you later!

I never leave reviews but Franko’s was the best restaurant i’ve ever been to. Me and my husband moved to the area recently and decided to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary at Franko’s. I’m so glad we found this gem!! The service was amazing and everything we ordered was perfect. I grew up eating authentic italian cooking so I was skeptical to try an Italian restaurant as I am disappointed by most but Franko’s makes a better veal parm than any I’ve ever had! We ordered the calimari for an appetizer and it was the best i’ve ever had, it had a little spice to it and the breading/crispness was perfect! My husband ordered a steak, he is picky about steak and he loved it! We finished off with cannolis for dessert and i think they might be the best cannolis in NC. We will definitely be back, we are so happy to have found a new favorite restaurant!

Well, I'm not usually one to give reviews but the food at Franko's was some of the best food I've ever had. The Bruschetta appetizer was delicious. I ordered the Ribeye (MedRare+) and it was hands down the best steak I've had ... easily blew Angus Barn out of the water!

The atmosphere was awesome and service was top notch. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and meal.

A hidden gem for sure!

The service and ambience were top tier. Upstairs was a vibe! The food was decent but nothing to brag about. The 50 Layer Lasagna and Swordfish were just okay but the Veal Chop Parmesan was excellent. The 7 Layer Chocolate Mousse Cake (can easily serve 4!) and Pistachio Cheesecake were simply superb!!!!

With the surprise of a work meeting ending early, my husband and I decided to drop in right at opening. What a great decision as we were greeted by a welcoming ambiance, the warmest server, Nino, and a wonderful menu. I loved the veal parm (large portion) and my husband devoured the swordfish dinner. We both enjoyed a glass of red wine and the fireplace. And by the way, you will love the bathrooms.

It’s rare one is passing through Franklinton but the next time you are, this is a must!! Get a reservation well in advance though- and then go order the focaccia, the arugula salad app, the sausage stuffed peppers and the truffle gnocchi to share — with the 7 (more like 12) layer chocolate cake for dessert! Our server was the kindest and the space is beautiful, modern yet classic. Pizzeria is upstairs only for a more casual vibe.

Cannot say enough about Franko’s it’s our new favorite. Bre is an awesome server too. Close to everywhere. High quality and excellent. Go give it a try. We especially like the lasagna, Gnocchi, and Cannolis.

My husband and I went on a Friday and had to wait 30 mins since we didn’t have reservations. Our server was ver professional and polite. We started off with the bruschetta. It was delicious 10/10. The pesto and tomatoes were nice and fresh, the bread was crunchy and soft in the right spots. My husband ordered the lasagna and I ordered the bolognese. Both were delicious. We will definitely be coming back. HIGHLY recommend.

Listen, if you live anywhere north of Raleigh, you need to take a drive to Franklinton for a meal at Franko's. The indoor and outdoor seating and ambiance is so nice. Not too over done, but really nice. Just right to really relax and enjoy your company and your meal. The lasagna and the steak were prepared perfectly. Downtown Franklinton is really turning out to be a great spot.

Had to listen to my friends, Tre and Amanda, tell me how great this place is for over a month. I wanted to hate it just to rub it in their faces, but I can't.. its phenomenal. My steak was great! The veal parm chop was awesome! The focaccia was delicious. The only thing I didn't love were the potato's, but half my party loved them, so the consensus was split on that.

We're new fans!
Focaccia with the whipped ricotta was delicious. Calamari fresh and cooked perfectly. Lasagna was huge and very good, my Dad said one of the vest he's had. Gnocchi, delicate little pillows, with the truffle cream and mushrooms was divine. Both filets were cooked exactly to temperature and melted in your mouth. The chocolate cake was delicious and could have been split by 4 people! Tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had and the old fashions, wow, were on point!
We will be back!

Absolutely fantastic dinner. Filet mignon, Veal Parmesan (bone in) all cooked perfectly, Caesar Salads (one with anchovies), beautiful foccacia with ricotta cheese spread with olive oil, meatballs, and cannolis for desert. We also ordered a white pizza from upstairs at Franco's pizzeria to go, that was also fantastic for lunch the next day. We'll be back!

I brought my friends to dinner after spending years away from our hometown. So much has changed. I never thought Franklinton would have restaurant scene well on its way to compete with Raleigh. Overall we had a great experience. Meredith our server was wonderful and knowledgeable. One of our steaks came out overcooked however the kitchen was so accommodating and solved the issue quickly. The Caesar salad and 50 layer lasagna were a hit. A++ ! Can’t wait to visit again.
