The Silos Restaurant

What a Gem!!! This place really surprised me. From the nostalgia of album covers to the service to the food. Something to know about the place. They have two floors and two menus. One for lunch and one for dinner. Spaghetti is not on the lunch menu but lasagna is. The service is phenomenal. Jessica made sure we got excellent service even though we were downstairs in the closed off for lunch section (she made the accommodation due to one of my party not being able to get up the stairs. The food was good as well. They also have live music. Way to go Silos!!! Way to go Jessica!!!

Our family loved this place! We stopped buys for dinner and was amazed by the design of this restaurant! Awesome! All the food was delicious, but the casserole was outstanding! Highly recommended!

Visiting the area, we thought we'd stop in for a late lunch. Not only is the place unique on the outside, but it was also unique on the inside. Very music oriented with lots of guitars and other instruments as part of the decor. After we got seated, the owner stopped by our table and asked us If we'd try something he just whipped up in the kitchen. Cod fish bites. They were fantastic! Seasoned perfectly with the right amount of batter. Obviously fresh cod, too. And nice and crispy. If he adds these to the menu, definitely get them. The wedge salad was delicious and the perfect size. We got two different pizzas. I preferred the hand tossed crust to the thin. Both could have been cooked a bit longer so the pizza would have been crispier. Jessica was a super waitress, too. All the staff was very friendly. Would love to come back sometime when they have entertainment. If you're in the area, the Silos is a must go-to.

It's our second time here. I was worried my memory of how good the pizza here was an exaggeration. It had been 3 years since last we came into port at Oriental and we'd been talking about it ever since. But, it was every bit as good as my memory and worth the 15 to 20 minute walk from the marinas.

Between three of us ee had a Buffalo chicken pizza and a make-your-own pizza with bacon, sausage, and mushrooms - both hand tossed. We left stuffed and a few slices to take home!

The silos is a super cute locally owned place in oriental. The inside was closed because of covid but I was able to go on and order. I found some tables out back so I just made myself at home. We are from the lunch menu. The prices were average for lunch. My son is pretty picky about his chicken tenders but he liked the ones he had for lunch. The employees were very nice! I will return and I can’t wait to sit inside!

Best food. Parmesian bites are the BEST. Not a bad in the place. Great service. COLDEST Beer. Music on Wednesday. Love it here. The Red Rooster is in the backyard. Great place to chill on the weekend

This is an unusual "burger/pizza" joint. Unusual in that you climb up a silo to go eat! The wait staff are excellent, and the food keeps us coming back! We've done their burgers and fries chicken sandwiches, 😋. Next time? PIZZA!

The Silos, a locally owned restaurant caught my eye as we drove through oriental nc. The inside was closed because of COVID but the lady inside let us order. We found some tables out back and made ourselves at home! My son is super picky about his chicken tenders and he ate his whole plate without complaining. They have home made fries and a little dessert counter. We didn’t eat dessert but our food was good and the price was reasonable. We can’t wait to return when the inside opens back up next week!

Welcome to Oriental, NC! This is the cutest little place to grab a beer and snacks or enjoy some of the best pizza around. The restaurants ceiling is decorated with album covers covering the last 70 plus years. They do have live music on certain evenings, check their FB page for more info. Absolute gem of Oriental.

Very unique place, make their own fries and dough. Food was fantastic! Small stage with live music in the evening.

Me and my girlfriend finally got around to checking this place out and so glad we did. Outstanding service, cool atmosphere, and great food. So far one of all time favorite places to eat.

I miss the home atmosphere in the restaurant!! Food is absolutely delicious, good portions, and the service and people are great!! I live up in So. Philadelphia Pa. a friend had his boat down there in Wayfarers Cove Marina!! Went down several times and fell in love with the area!! People is so laid-back and friendly and half the people I met there were from up the Northeast where I live!! I'm thinking of buying a house down there I love the place that much!! Especially Orient!!

A hidden gem! The homemade lasagna was great, as were the meatballs. Upstairs has a fun, upbeat vibe. Service was quick. Will definitely be back!

My family was in over the Christmas break and we went 3x during our stay at River Dunes. It was the perfect spot to stop in and drink a beer while enjoying your classic bar food! They also had great dinner options too. But what really earned them 5 stars was the service. We had the same waitress each time - If I can remember correctly her name was Hannah. Hannah was beyond perfect at her job! While the place was completely slammed she kept her composure and took care of patrons as diligently as one could with a smile. We will most certainly be back our next trip to Oriental!

Great food, good service and a cool atmosphere. The carry out is good too.

It was a very interesting night. While we were being served we also got to watch actors put on a play. Then try to solve who the murder was.

Great meal, great service, great price! Had the chicken Alfredo. So much food and so delicious! No complaints. They have live music on certain nights. I think it would be fun to go, but probably loud. We enjoyed the peaceful, intimate atmosphere. No bells and whistles needed when the food and service is excellent.

A must go to place in Oriental. Fantastic Italian... I love the tortellini. Music on Wednesday and Friday.

Service was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely visit again when we are in town.
