Scratchtown Brewing Company

Stopped by last night while I was in town. I can only repeat what everybody else is saying so eloquently! Friendly staff, friendly locals and great beer! We'll be back!

If you think there is another brewery that is better, I might call you a lier. Never have had a bad beer, and most are exceptional. Might be Nebraskas best kept secret.

This brewery is truly the Sandhills Finest! The tap room is always a fun place to taste and talk with locals and visitors from across the state. Take out bottles, silos and elevators make entertaining at home or gift giving easy and delicious! This is a great stop on your journey through the area.

Traveled out to try this brewery for its famous "Scratchtoberfest!" The beer was as high quality as the staff! I recommend the MMR beer and YIP! YIP! Also, get the Octoberfest beer while you can!!!

They focus on great beer, and the guy behind the bar is often one of the owners who will talk hops or plans for the next kind of beer that will be on tap. We are retirees, and we have felt totally comfortable here visiting with the local guys at the bar, young families, groups of teachers, or folks from Lincoln and Omaha passing through. If you like beer and friendly people, this is a place for you.

We were in town for a short stay and thought we would miss a stop at this place. On impulse, I called. My call was answered by Caleb who generously offered to serve us even though we were two hours ahead of their opening time. We enjoyed a nice visit and several samples before leaving with 4 “Silos”.
What a great spot and an even greater story. Support this local business, folks!

This place is truly a gem! We were passing through Ord on a drive from California to Chicago, and ended up trying every beer on their menu. Tastiest pilsners and lagers that I tried in years - I especially enjoyed the German pilsner and dry-hopped lager. Thank you!

We were up installing a sauna and stopped in on a beautiful day on the patio. Caleb and the staff were awesome. Cool little place in on the square. Go!

THE place to go in Ord, NE. Excellent beer, great small-town atmosphere, very friendly and attentive owners and management. Been here twice and can't wait to get back. Worth the drive, no matter where you're coming from!!
