I called Velocity for an emergency patch for my roof during the storm. They were very helpful and responsive, especially with helping me navigate with my insurance. Highly recommend!

Devon did a really awesome job. He took care of dealing with my insurance company with issues we had getting our roof replaced.

9/20/23 update.......STILL NOTHING FROM VELOCITY!! I will continue to update this review until its fixed! It keeps it at the top of the list!! Velocity has responded to all other reviews, but not this one!! Even on my husband's review!! So Pathetic!!!

7/22/23 update......my gutters are now falling off my house! Devin and Velocity have never reached out. Haven't responded to this review!!

BUYER BEWARE!!

Velocity was hired to to install the steel roof on our house that we were building as a result of losing our home and everything we owned in a house fire. The roof job went very well, so we hired them to do the steel siding and the gutters. Gutters were completed in early spring 2022. on May 3, 2022 during a rain shower, our gutters were sagging, not draining, and water was just gushing over the tops of them and digging holes in the yard below. I immediately notified Devin from Velocity of the issues. He said he would be out within the next week to take a look. He didn't show up or call. After several weeks, we reached out again. Devin then scheduled 3 different appointments with my husband and myself over the course of 2 months, and no call no showed us each time. I again called Devin directly, told him my expectations of him coming to inspect the job and making the needed repairs, or that I would be getting a lawyer involved. He then had his MOTHER'S BOYFRIEND, who owns a different company call me and he literally told me "I assure you that my lawyer has bigger balls than yours does!". After listening to what I had to say, realizing that I have all my contracts and their insurance in hand, he decided that he, Devin and Devin's mother would all come out to inspect the work. Instead of doing that, they sent out a completely different crew, completely unannounced, on a Saturday during my sister's wedding shower that I was hosting. Devin/Velocity STILL has NOT set foot to inspect the job as of this point!!! This is now August 2022. So, I begin a case with the consumer protection agency. Devin made a page long list of false claims, to which I responded with FACTS and PROOF (in the form of his own contracts and documents). After submitting that, Devin then agreed to come out and inspect the property within a reasonable amount of time to make the repairs. We waited from November 2022 until May 2023 for him to show up, and he still never has. I attempted to file a claim against his insurance, as there's damage to my new home and repairs to the gutters are nearly $8000. I'd like to add, the gutter professional that DID come out to take a look informed us that Devin has installed the absolute bottom of the barrel quality of gutters on my home. He said there is only one grade worse that ours, and those are LITERALLY stamped REYNOLDS on the inside, because they're made by the same company that makes your kitchen foil! That should tell you the quality we received. I have 250 foot of gutter on my house, and it's going to cost $8000 to make it right. (No, the estimate is not out of line. Its 2 story with 62 foot runs of gutter. Requires 2 pieces of equipment to install them. It wasn't any cheaper the first time!!)

Upon attempting to file a claim against his insurance, I was informed that he has specific language in the insurance policy to EXCLUDE POOR WORKMANSHIP. So what does that mean for us and our gutters?? This means that Devin from Velocity Storm Solutions put the cheapest, crappiest gutters he could find on my home, installed them incorrectly, caused damage to my home, ignored all requests, lied to us despite it being documented with the consumer protection agency, refused to respond to his own insurance agent, and he gets to walk away scot free and continue to do this to all of his future customers.

Also, he's using MY HOUSE as his cover photo on his facebook page!! Laughable that he's that proud of the job he did.....

Velocity will not honor their warranty and has yet to come fix all their mistakes 2 years later. Shame on me for paying them. Don't recommend.
