Smiths Nursery is a fantastic place to bring your family!!!! We were visiting our family and were told to come here for the fresh ice cream and fall activity’s. This place is perfect for the young ones, with animal feeding and photo ops. The shop has homemade soaps, snacks, honeys and fresh milk from the farm. The homemade ice cream was fantastic. I highly recommend coming here and checking them out!!!!

What an awesome experience! Well spaced out parking. Easy to social distance with or without masks. Be sure to bring apples and carrots for the animals. Best to core and slice apples for the animals, so we brought a manual apple corer with us. The animals will swarm to you. The hayride is $15 for the family. The ice cream is delicious and they had BBQ on our visit, which was amazingly delicious. They had huge pumpkins and beautiful flowers, plants and trees. Great little shop and clean bathrooms. Will definitely be back again.

This was such a wonderful visit today! My family and I said hello to the animals first (pigs, goats, cow, donkey and a horse), then we picked some very nicely sized and sweet strawberries, looked at some plants and trees, flowers and goodies then to close our visit purchased some local meats, cheeses, salads and veggies. Everything about this place says family, friendly and everything local. If you have not visited yet - you are well overdue! I highly recommend taking an hour or 2 to go pick some strawberries and have a wonderful time checking everything out they have to offer. I will be going back regularly.

We love this farm and never tire of venturing out at least once a month. They sell little baggies of food to feed the animals on the farm (one of my daughter's favorite parts of coming). They frequently have "you pick" events. We've only done strawberries but was time it was fun, not crowded, and reasonably priced. I like going into their store and seeing all the local goodies and garden decor they have to offer. During the summer they offer storytime for preschoolers where they sit and read a story then do a fun craft related to the story and it's free! And finally, the ICE CREAM is a must try! Even if you get a typical flavor like chocolate or strawberry your taste buds will pop with how decadent and delicious they are (way better than any Hershey ice cream sold at most places). They also offer unique and seasonal flavors. The whole experience is a treat and worth a stop.

🎃🎃Pumpkin ice cream is tasty, and we had a blast with my 11-month-old baby. She was totally thrilled while on one of the swings!

A great find for yard plants, veggies, and sweet treats! It is being put on my "gotta stop by" list. And any place that sells Cheerwine AND Sundrop is about as North Carolinian as you can get. #AWESOME

I took my girls to pick some strawberries and to get some ice cream. They had a blast. I was super excited to get some fresh chicken eggs. The workers were super nice.

Cute spot for a brief family outing. Fresh veggies (and seafood on the weekend), plants, ice cream, and animals.
My granddaughters had fun picking (& eating) fresh berries.

What a wonderful find. We drove from Flowers to find a nice nursery and we were not disappointed. Super patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and just stunning flowers. I hope to go strawberry picking with friends soon. We will definitely be back.

Great place. They have a mini shop and also an ice cream shop. Walking around the place and sighting some of natures beauty is truly fun when you're here. You can walk around the field and you will see some animals and a pond. Great place overall since I live close enough to walk there. My uncle also helped build the place a little bit. I love this place!!

Went there when we were visiting Benson. Ice cream is great on a hot day with several unusual flavors that are really good. They have a great gift shop too. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s worth the trip.

Love this place. Fresh veggies, all kinds of plants, and potted flowers, home made breads and fresh meats. They serve ice cream and coffee specialties. Plus, the have several family events throughout the season, like a big Easter Egf hunt for the kids. All of the staff is super friendly.

Had theee best experience here earlier today with my babies! We got there right when they opened at 9am, and we were immediately greeted by the kindest gentleman with a huge smile, who introduced himself as the owner. We made small talk, and he invited us in to visit the rest of the area. Everyone working here was just as pleasant and friendly! From the coffee/ ice cream shop, to the nursery and farmers market, I honestly cannot say enough about this delightful place. We picked strawberries, grabbed a few other items from the market (very nice selection) and grabbed some ice cream before leaving. They also had non dairy, which was a pleasant surprise! This is definitely one of our favorite places to visit now as a family, and we’ll be returning soon!

We had a awesome time here with the kids. We came for the pumpkins but had a blast on the hayride, the kids loved feeding the animals and all of the slides. We were also pleasantly surprised at the shop with the different produce and meats and cheeses. My family will definitely be returning again! Thanks for the fun!

My family loves this place. The strawberry picking and feeding the animals is always a fun time. They have quality plants in the nursery plus an incredible store that reminds me a bit of cracker barrel. 100% would recommend.
