The Wells Hotel | Cashiers

This was our 1st visit to the area and therefore our first stay. The Wells Hotel was central to everything! It far exceeded our expectations. Our room was modern, clean, spacious, and the large porch seemingly brought nature "inside". The large and private screened in porch was our absolute favorite. It was connected by 2 glass double doors that provided natural light and essentially extended the space beyond the already spacious room to enjoy! The location is within walking distance to the best local coffee and breakfast food truck at the brewery next door. We did not even have time to enjoy the exterior beauty (fireplace, outdoor seating, and ponds). We will be back!

This was our first stay at the Wells Hotel and we were very satisfied with our accommodations. During our four- night stay, my husband and I were able to walk to restaurants, a coffee shop, brewery and shopping. It was an easy drive from the hotel to hiking trails and Lake Glenville as well. The staff was wonderful. The grounds are well kept and inviting. We look forward to coming back to Cashiers and staying at the Wells Hotel once again.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and tucked into the town but still feels like it’s out in the woods. It had everything I wanted with extra I didn’t know I was getting. I can’t wait to stay here again. Perfect for a get away either with others or by yourself to recharge. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly- I wish staying at other places was like staying here everyone could learn a lesson from the staff at The Wells with their friendliness, helpfulness, kindness, and ease of access. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

The Wells is located in the heart of Cashiers and a terrific place to stay. The beds were so comfortable and the room was immaculately clean and huge! Great brewery and breakfast spot right next door. Very easy keyless check-in.

Excellent place to stay -- we stayed in the Brewer's cabin this past week (from Wed - Sunday) and it was beyond our expectations. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again in our upcoming visits.

We scheduled a standard room last minute after some other plans fell through. The room was small but just perfect for a landing spot, as we don’t spend all day in a hotel room. We walked to supper the first night and coffee the other mornings, which was especially convenient. Unfortunately, we had to work during our trip. The lobby was a nice place to spread out, and the desk workers were friendly and helpful while we worked. At night we gathered around the fire pit and met some other travelers. Great place for a weekend home base in the mountains.

This was hands down very cozy and cute! Love how responsive the team was. We literally walked to the Brewery and Coffee shop recommend and loved it! This cottage was everything expected! We will definitely be back again. Thank you for making my birthday getaway memorable ❤💙

We had such an amazing experience at the Wells Hotel. It is a truly lovely and relaxing property and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Zakira was wonderful and went above and beyond to make the stay extra special and enjoyable. She is exactly the type of person I would want representing my establishment. A total class act! This will be a place that we come many more times in the future. So happy to have discovered the Wells Hotel. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had!

This hotel was perfect for our weekend escape. The location was perfect as it was both tucked away from the road, but also close to all the hiking trails we planned. We even got some enjoyment from the beautiful firepit area after a long day out. I am excited to visit again soon!

We stayed at The Wells Hotel for 3 nights in early May and it was a great experience! The room was very clean and included a small fridge, coffee maker and supplies and was nicely decorated. The location is perfect for quick access to hiking trails, restaurants in Highlands, Cashiers and Sapphire. The Wells grounds include a path to Whiteside Brewing Company next door and also a firepit with supplies to make a nice campfire. The hotel is also walking distance to restaurants on Hwy 64 in Cashiers. The front desk staff, as well as the cleaning staff, were responsive and friendly. This was a great experience and we hope to return soon!

The rooms are great! I stayed in one of the standard king rooms, and while it was a little small, it definitely was very comfortable and had everything I needed. It was also nicely updated and very clean. Super comfortable bed.
Service was wonderful. I loved that everything was by text, and that there was an actual person at the other end. I had a couple of special requests, and they were happy to accommodate me.
Location is fantastic. Very short walk to a large brewery/restaurant and also a breakfast food truck. Hotel is right in the middle of cashiers.
I really loved my stay and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to others.

Cozy small room it was perfect with coffee bar. Small fridge plenty of space to hang clots and be organized. I really liked the that they had a couple throw blankets I usually bring my own and I forgot to and was very happy to feel at home.

Stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon, and I hope to come back again in the future! Service was great. I couldn’t believe how affordable it was. We got drinks and dinner at the brewery on the property and grabbed breakfast at the food truck the next morning. Beautiful property!!

This is our second time staying at the Wells hotel in cashers, and is one of my favorites. Because it’s close to Whiteside brewery, the Elevated kitchen food truck and Buck’s coffee, it’s in the perfect spot to walk and enjoy the town. I especially like that everything is done via text message. After reserving your room, they send you a welcome message, your room and check in information and you can also check out via text. Having said that, a person is always available to speak to should problems arise. The rooms are always clean and stylish with the Scandinavian decor. Highly recommend this hotel!

We had an excellent stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The path to the brewery next door was a great bonus. Having the store right across the street can in handy multiple times

We absolutely loved the whole experience! Especially Zakira! She was so welcoming and made sure we had the room that suited our needs! The bed was amazing! Sitting on the porch and chilling to a firepit right outside our door! Walking distance to a great coffee shop! We would definitely be back!

Stayed at the Wells Hotel Feb14-16 and found the location convenient and it has on premises restaurant options which are terrific. The 2 story, 2bed, 2 bath suite was perfect for us and we were impressed with the cleanliness and lovely setup. The front desk personnel.. very helpful and cheerful.
We already booked another stay there next month.

The Wells Hotel was such a dreamy stay. Each room was so comfortable, and I loved the ensuite screened-in porch. There's a brewery on-site, so you can grab a drink there without having to drive on any mountain roads, and you're within walking distance of a coffee shop, the town green, and shops. Would stay again!

Our new favorite place to stay in the mountains. Loved every bit from the cleanliness and coziness of the room to the tavern right next door. Excellent price for the experience and location. We’ll be back again and again!

Excellent experience. Fully automated checkin/checkout. Room was small, but everything we needed. Seem to be recently remodeled which made it new and fresh. Wonderfully decorated. Location was perfect and easy to find. The brewery next door was the highlight. Great brews. Highly recommend.
