Gardens of Avila Restaurant

Had a wonderful dinner with my husband and our friends on Thursday evening. We had an Artisan cheese board and fried calamari as starters. All the cheeses were amazing and the Calamari was wonderful! For my main I had the deep sea scallops and pork belly over polenta and carrots. The scallops were perfect and the pork was super tender and delicious. For desert I had the chocolate torte and it was rich and delightful. Service was fantastic and our only complaint was that we chose to sit on the patio and we had a few bees that would not leave us to enjoy our food. We ended up relocating inside to enjoy coffee and desert. Our server was super accommodating and we will definitely go back when we get an opportunity to do so!

Got the first reservation at 5pm. We were a little bit early and they quickly set up our table. I should've taken pics of the drinks, food and dessert, but I forgot a I enjoyed the outdoor dining and the delicious food. The outdoor patio had plenty of heaters to keep the table warm and spaced out nicely. There was some indoor seating but we preferred outdoor seating. All the dishes were yummy and the service was good. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! They're always so amazing. We celebrate everything here. The oyster mushrooms and artisan cheese plate are our favorite dishes! 😋

A true hidden gem. Everything here is fabulous. By far the best restaurant burger I've ever had, from San Francisco, Beverly Hills to San Diego. Avila Beach is where you will find it.
Fresh veggies from the garden across the street. Very warm and welcoming staff.

This place is worth the $$$!!! Locally sourced, seasonal menus! We come here for birthdays and anniversaries ( or when we can find an excuse to celebrate :)) lovely local wine selections! Organic food and drinks, tons of GF options and lovely staff. Quaint and cute!! If you can get their seasonal pheasant risotto, you must!!! Also, their halibut and chimichurri are super super awesome!

Delicious dishes featuring vegetables sourced directly from their on-site garden across the bridge. Dessert was also tasty and topped with house-made whipped cream.

Excellent staff and delicious food. I was inside but definitely want to sit outside.

Our service was fantastic, so was the food, and cocktails (Rusty Nail). We sat outside, mosquitoes were buzzing but that's expected after our winter. I did notice a few pups so that was cool that they're now dog friendly. It's a cool dinning experience and you have the hot springs.

I took my Mom and Sister to lunch today for Mother's Day and it was so good. Food was amazing but our server Kayla really went the extra mile, we will be back soon for sure!

Wonderful service and the fried chicken is a must. Huge portion and perfectly fried, not too oily. Tasty side of mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. Lots of local beers.

First time here and it was such a beautiful day. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun! The restaurant is really nice, more upscale than casual forsure.

Ashlee is amazing! She recommended trying their "Summer Sangria" and it was delicious! It was in a huge glass with fresh fruit and all.

The food is also really good. The bacon burger I got was huge haha, yummy fries and Husband got the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and said it was bomb!

My wife and I really like this spot. Staff/Servers are always super hospitable, chatty, and fun . The food/drinks are not cheap, but the quality, service, and atmosphere make it totally worth it.

Delicious and health conscious meal! Our server was top notch! Sat in the back dining room which was a bit more intimate. Loved our specialty cocktails and food was perfection. Ordered the salmon bisque soup, poached salmon with brussel sprouts and quinoa, and stuffed chicken with risotto. A great place to eat for locals and travelers. Menus for all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

Their ribeyes were a delight, their pork chops were amazing, and their shrimp primavera was out of this world.
Their chefs really know what they’re doing!

The breakfast is absolutely fantastic. I loved it. Wonderful service and staff. Food was delicious. And the ambiance was wonderful.

Always a great place to relax. Friendly people, always clean and well maintained. The gift shop is amazing, I always find something that I can't live without. So glad that it is in our own backyard.

Friendly Staff, didn't eat there Aug. 25th when we we're there, but did sit and had a couple glasses of tea. My Wife and I have eaten here in the past, great food, we'll be back

They have good options for vegetarian, if you eat egg. This is my favorite, egg benedict
