Awesome drinks and food! Service was amazing!

Quick friendly service and great food.

We were a little leery to have our grandsons birthday celebration there after reading some reviews- but were pleasantly surprised- burgers and shrimp were good, server staff may have been inexperienced but friendly and helpful. We had a nice time thanks!!

The service was excellent. The food was lacking flavor but overall experience was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calming, beautiful view as the sun was setting.

This is tonight my dinner from the restaurant but I was taken out so I don't have any problems with them！

Not a big selection but for the price what is there is prepared well.

Our service was good here, my husband fish meal he enjoyed. My chicken sandwich was literally just chicken strips on a bun. Kids meals were quite small for the $9 cost.

Waitress Dana didn't know Mozilla from cheddar curds when asked. We ordered them because she said they were yellow but when they came to the table they were mozzarella. We informed her of her mistake but she took nothing off of the check even though the lady who ordered them wouldn't eat them.

Started off with a reasonable amount of attendance. However, after getting our batch or cheese curds and ordering a second batch.... We were told they "ran out" and they gave us a different batch. They were different and not impressive. Not squeaky. Burger curds were kinda cold. Fires greasy and squishy but overall nice. Better to try a local bar

Thought this was an order off the menu restaurant according to their website but it was a very small buffet. The waitress seemed untrained. We ordered wine to drink along with ice water. We were told that they were completely out of all white wines (This is Friday of Cranfest weekend).
The soup was room temperature (hope I don’t get sick) and the other choices were bland at best.
The dessert bars were good.
We asked for more water and the look we got from the waitress was like we asked her for her firstborn child.
At least it was only $12 per person.

Food was ok.Husband had prime rib, said it wasn’t worth it. I had a dry burger and stale chips. Service was horrible. Our waiter, Ben, took forever to come, then complained how he didn’t get a tip from the last table, then came back complained about how he had to manually enter a $144 bill, complained about management. Other waitresses and hostesses brought out appetizer, salad, main meal, and beverages. For having craft beer—-none were in stock (don’t worry waiter complained about that too). Wouldn’t recommend this place unless super hungry and don’t mind “meh” food

Sober. Vegetarian. - That's how I left the 1878. No bar service in the restaurant and the kitchen sent my pulled pork nachos sans meat. I'm old enough to remember the motor lodges of yore that had restaurants that drew the locals in for prime rib on Saturday nights. The 1878 has the ambiance and location to pull it off, but falls far short on execution.
