Lanie's Cafe

Came here for my son's birthday dinner, it's been on our list of places to try. It did not disappoint! There was a considerable wait time, so I suggest joining the waiting list in advance of the time you want to be there. The waitress was so nice and attentive to the right degree! She didn't hover, yet she was always there when we needed her. Margarita was delicious. The entrées come with salad bar, which we all got. The portions are big enough for me to eat for 3 full dinners! The mozzarella sticks were delicious (and big), as was the chicken sorrento I got. I can't speak for everyone else but they all seemed happy! I would definitely like to return and try some more dishes. The restaurant and staff were very warm and welcoming. It was very busy and a bit loud for a Sunday night but not in an off putting way. Also appreciated how they held our cake we brought in for my son, then brought it out after dinner with a spatula, plates, spoons and a lighter for the birthday candle. Truly a great experience. Can't wait to return!

Tried to get in early on a Friday. 5:30 and the place already had a wait of 45 minutes. Worth the wait. The portions are huge. The food is delicious. I had a chop salad with chicken. Three people could have shared it. I would definitely come here again.

Second time I have been here and very good food and service. Packed due to mother's day so we ate outside but our server was attentive and food hot. I got the veggie panini but took off provolone, added vegan cheese and eggplant. Sweet potato fries with it. Huge panini, enough for tomorrow's lunch. My husband got prime rib steak and my son got the Reuben . We got the cauliflower wings to start and that was good, we got vegan ranch with it.

I Requested a steak dish sub in grilled sword fish, they were super accommodating. Friendly. The meal was the best I had in a long time. I got the “Black and Bleu Steak” but with Grilled Sword fish instead of steak. It was incredible. Thanks DOUG! You rock!

First time there and I really enjoyed it. My gripe would be the drinks, an iced tea is 3.50 or something like that. Thats a gouge however you look at it. Food wise the burger was excellent and the eggplant sandwich my wife got was great too. Good fries also.

busy restaurant with outside and inside seating. Reuben was huge and not at all salty. It was delicious and so were the fries. Friend of mine got a panini with eggplant, spinach and chicken. She loved it and ordered one to go for her husband. We will definitely be back.

We were so happy to enjoy Lanie's patio area. Nicely shaded. The service was attentive. Their portion sizes are no joke! Definitely come hungry. We tried an appetizer, bacon wrapped shrimp. Perfectly crispy bacon. We each got a sandwich and they were delicious. Their homemade marinara sauce is excellent, great flavors! Looking forward to going back.

I went there yesterday night and omg! Comfy, premium bar-like feel and…medium-high end food that’ll make you experience…honest…foodgasm! With every bite, Lanie’s Cafe will make you taste its delight, especially on a Saturday night!

First time here from a recommendation and I was impressed!! The salad bar was fresh, the croutons and the bread were very good, but the infused butter was amazing!! Then came the meal. Ordered chicken parm with thin spaghetti. The sauce was thick and tasty and the portion size was huge!! I can't wait to go back again someday and try something else!

Loved everything about this place. 8 in our party, and our server never faltered.

3 apps- nachos, calamari and wings. Each one was spectacular! The burger was easily in my top 5 best burgers of time!

No wonder the place was slammed for lunch. Couldn't possibly recommend this place highly enough!

My husband and I live nearby, so this review is based on several dining experiences here. The food is always amazing! I love their soups, and I have gotten the cranberry chicken salad sandwich many times in the past, so good. Last night we went for dinner and, as expected for a Friday night, the place was packed. Nevertheless, service was incredible! Our waitress noticed immediately when we needed a new drink, and she was always around to see whether we needed anything else. Our steaks were delicious, too! We're so happy to have such a great restaurant so close to home.

Found this gem by luck, visiting from out of town. Friendly from the minute we arrived. Nice atmosphere, casual but refined, and nostalgic all at the same time: and the food was exceptional. Great menu with a lot of unexpected options. Stuck with the old standards, chicken parm and eggplant rolitini, and was delicious.
Maggie our waitress made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time.
If we’re ever back, we’ll be here.

10/10 Restaurant. I’ve been here probably half a dozen times and have never once had a bad meal. The salad bar, the number of options, the pricing, everything is top notch. Kenzie was our waitress and she was excellent. Definitely try the nachos!

My husband decided to take me there to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I first I felt out of place thought I would like the foods boy was I wrong. You know the old saying never judge a book by its cover. This place proved that. The server Chelsea W, was so wonderful and attentive through the whole night. The kicker was the food. Everything was so yummy. I enjoy every dishes and left with a belly full. Definitely check out this little spot out.

Excellent meal with friends. We came for lunch with a group of 12. They normally do not take reservations but with a larger group they would set aside the space and make sure to have a table set up to accommodate us. Waitress was friendly and very helpful, even going back and happily breaking up our bill by family (very kind). Food was excellent, especially the onion rings which are close to if not the best I have ever had.

We visited Lanie's before the COVID restrictions were eased. Their staff followed all the guidelines, it was most reassuring. All our late lunch / early dinner entrees were all well prepared and sizeable. At my request they held the croutons and added more blue cheese on my bruschetta steak spinach salad. It was very tasty and huge. After 15 minutes I barely put a dent into it. The peanut butter pie was decadent and enjoyed by all. Service throughout was excellent. A great establishment to restart restaurant dinning.

We ordered Eggplant And Chicken Parm with Tomatoes/Mozzarella for Christmas Catering. It was AMAZING!!! The taste was beyond DELICIOUS!!!!

Too bad I didn't take any pics!!! Don't be shocked by the love of the appetizers. The service is still a full size serving. Worth the price!!!

The food there is very good big portions and the wait staff is great kara was great would definitely recommend highly to bad the place wasn't bigger but it is a cafe.wont be disappointed by no means
