Popular Mexican restaurant in strip mall in Germantown. They take reservations! They have a decent ayce fish fry on Fridays, Extensive menu, large portions and fair prices. Study the walls while in the restraunt, and you will find shapes of women painted cleverly. Friendly staff.

First time there, the food was delicious and our waiter Alex was the best

First time my wife and I were here and it was delicious! My wife got the beef enchiladas and I got the pork carnitas tacos. Great food and fast, friendly service too. We will definitely be back! 🌮🌮

Love this place and I love Mondays for $6 Sangria and small margarita for $3.50 plus 1/2 off appetizers during Happy hour 2:30-5 and daily drink specials! The food is great and everyone is very friendly!

Great service from Daisy tonight. Love the margaritas! Tortilla soup with chicken was perfect. We tried the La Cabana Alambres. Really good with generous portions. All and all, a very good experience.

We tried Matteo's for breakfast after church today and it was absolutely fabulous! Great server, and great food!! I had the Bene-Burrito. It was delicious! Hubby had the breakfast tacos and he said they were good too! My dad had a skillet and said the chorizo was too spicy for him. Hubby and I will definitely be going back and I will be visiting some Wednesday night for dinner and their BOGO margaritas! Ohhh and the horchata was the 💣!!

Salsas were a little disappointing but our waiter Alex was awesome. Appetizer was so tasty I couldn't stop eating it. Entree was very good I'm sad I didn't have room to finish.

We have yet to find an item on this menu that we do not like. Great food, outstanding staff and Margaritas to live by!!!!!

Great service and phenomenal food - first time having breakfast there and the Matteo omelette was best I’ve ever had!

Very lovely first visit and we can’t wait to go back. We shared a delicious margarita flight (my favorite was the prickly pear) and a molcajete. The sauce was fantastic and flavorful. and the chorizo, grilled queso and giant shrimp we’re on point!

What a pleasant discovery!! We enjoyed everything about this restaurant in Germantown!! Friendly staff, amazing food, and LOTS of variety of adult beverages!! Highly recommend!!

I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in my day and have found many of the best to be right here at home in the Milwaukee and surrounding areas. But I have to say that I was extremely and pleasently surprised when my daughter suggested Matteo's Mexican Grill.
It was an early Friday around 5:30 and the place was already at 95% capacity. Even so, we were seated quickly. Our server was fast, friendly and accurate. The menu had items that were different from the same old, same old, and so I tried something new. It was delicious! I had the Birria Tacos and can highly reccomend. Also an alternate bean selection that I believe was called Charros that was delicious. Even though the restaurant was crowded, food was still served in a very reasonable amount of time.
The restaurant is located in a small strip mall, so parking is abundant. There is also outdoor seating available. Chips and salsa are complimentary. Fish frys are available on Fridays.
I will be heading back again without a doubt.

Fantastic food, fast friendly service. Recommend the mahi mahi tacos, shrimp chimichangas, white sangria, the chips and salsa are great! Really can't go wrong with any choice.

My family frequents Matteo’s. Dine in and pick up both have been on point for flavor, consistency and quality. That’s hard to find.
I feel that being in the business myself makes me a bit more picky when it comes to where I frequent.
Their menu is well rounded with familiar items as well as items for the adventurous at heart like myself.
My recent stop to pick up food to go, I had the pleasure of getting to know Alex who has served my family on multiple occasions and locations. Thank you Alex for being such a great face of Matteo’s and La Cabana!
I also can’t wait to try Matteo’s breakfast starting soon on weekends ❤
